Concepts involved the major of which is the use of hydraulic adjusters. At least you do not have to worry too much about valve clearance on a used one. They were meant to compete with the v max and the v 65 magna Only made for 2 years. New battery, brakes, paint, fork seals, fresh oil change and filter, carbs cleaned. Lower handle bars, new bar grips. Really helps the riding position. Runs great. Fun, smooth and fast ride ! The 700cc Madura was only produced 1 year vs. the 3 years for the 1200cc. The bike is comfortable and offers extra features seemingly advanced for its time.It features:*Hexagon frame that is stronger than traditional tube frames*1 inch handlebars, like a Harley (metric bikes are usually 3/4")*Instrument cluster with gear indicator, fuel light, side stand and more, all without having to take your eyes off the road.Within the last 400 miles:*All 4 carbs professionally rebuilt*Oil changed with filter*new tires*new spark plugs*new air filter*new battery *new clutch line*new front end - wheel chromed, new fender, rotors polished, outer fork tubes powder coated, triple tree & blinker brackets powder coated, new blinkers, new gauge canisters, new speedometer cable, new bearings, new fork seals, new brake pads assembled with new stainless hardware.
