1986 BMW K 75, She runs GREAT!! Low miles 27,100 barely broken in for a BMW. She wants to be ridden a lot more than I have time for. Owned the K75 since '05, previous owner was a BMW mechanic. Just put in a new battery and starter relay switch. (told you I haven't had time to run her enough!). Started her up and she yelled "Let's GO!!" Some work on minor paint blemishes, a re-upholstery of the custom Corbin seat is about all she needs. Side Bags, full Helmet, BMW plug-in heated Jacket, on-board tools, and original Owners manual included. She needs a good home, someone with the time to ride her often. I will miss her! $2,950.00 9414418332

1986 BMW K75C, Are you a fan of the three-cylinder, small brick design that was the K75 series? Then this machine might just be of special interest. We set this one aside in the hopes of getting to it ourselves over the winter and turning it into a very nice, every day dependable and road worthy traveler and well, time just got away from us. Again. We were busy all through the colder months. That???s our excuse and we???re sticking with it. So now someone out there who is interested in what we think is an easy PROJECT BIKE (read the details on PROJECT BIKE transactions please) with a great amount of sweat equity to be gained when completed has an opportunity. One of the reasons we wanted to do this one ourselves was that we constantly have an unfulfilled demand for stock K75 models; regardless of which one although the standards are the 3 to 1 favorite. They are just in very short supply. Even more so if you are looking for a clean, low mileage example. This one has only had just one owner since new and we got all service records to refer to from early 1987 when it had the break-in service performed until the summer of 1999 when it was last serviced at a dealership. It was not the selling shop as they???d closed their doors but it was still a BMW shop.In addition to the beautiful or ugly Pichler fairing (we all see this differently) you see in the main intro photo it came to us with all the stock components that could be re-installed to make it look just like it sat on the sales floor at Slegers Cycle in Wharton, NJ back in 1986 when it was new. Next year when it hits true classic status you can even run historic tags on it in most states as it will be 25 years of age ??? how cool is that? So whether you are in love with the Pichler fairing or not, which by the way was a state of the art touring fairing for the K75 and K100 series in its day, there is a great opportunity here to refurbish and refresh this machine with or without that accessory. Take it off and sell it or if you prefer hang it in the garage until the next winter arrives and put it back on and stay a little more comfortable in the colder months. Maybe someone wants one enough to offset a chunk of what it will cost you to do what???s needed

This is a great BMW K100 and gets compliments and attention everywhere you go. I hate to sell it, but I'm not riding it and it deserves to be ridden. I developed a problem with my hands that has gotten worse and if I ride for more than about 30 minutes my hands start to go numb. That makes it no fun to ride for me personally. The problem with my hands is unrelated to the bike. The bike is a 1986 K100 that has had all of the front fairing removed and the headlight replaced. The Cafe Racer conversion was done by someone else. I did convert it to LED flashers with resistor packs. BMW has a sophisticated bulb monitoring system that works well but is a pain to remove or jump around, so the resistor packs are a simple way to make the flashers work properly and be LED. Bike has brand new Metzger Lasertec's on it with less than 100 miles on them. I had them mounted and balanced in March. The work was done by Houston Motorcycle Exchange. I had them check the bike while they had it and they noted a small oil leak from the valve cover. Over the course of a couple of weeks you wind up with a quarter sized spot of oil under the bike. Not really worth messing with at this point. Bike runs great and has no mechanical issues that I am aware of. Previous owner did the cafe racer conversion and did all of the regular preventative mainentance at the time including spine lube, new rear shock, new front shock boots/oil, etc. The only problems I have had with the bike are the trip odometer stopped working so I replaced the speedometer with one from a K75, and there are some caps on vacuum tubes on the throttle bodies that I replaced. If the caps come off the bike will run fine and idle a little rough at a stop light. Bike has LED cluster lighting which was done by the previous owner. I also replaced the horn with a pair of Piaa horns that are loud as hell.... loud enough to interrupt a cell phone conversation in an SUV. :) My understanding is that the bike was laid down at some point in it's history and the insurance company totaled it which is how it got it's salvage title. Bike is smooth well beyond the posted speed limit. :) Bike includes a battery maintainer. Test ride is allowed with full payment. Due to the ease with which one can layover a bike you need to own it before you ride it. On that note, this is a heavy bike, probably 650 pounds. If you are not local I'm happy to let your preferred shipper pick it up. If you have any questions please ask before buying or making an offer. Mileage is unknown. Odometer that it came with had 102,000 on the clock, not sure if that was original or not. Odometer on it now has 32,500 on the clock. The VDO odometer in the K series is notoriously unreliable so it has probably been changed more than once. eBay is forcing me to put a number in the listing. The legal documentation is that the odometer is beyond mechanical limits. Video of the horns:

1986 BMW K100rt (Euro) Sport Touring - This is "The Flying Brick" with only 29k original miles. Excellent condition! New tires, new brakes, Corbin seat, new Duracell battery, extras! Second owner. Mechanic maintained. Original owner was an Air Force pilot who purchased it in Germany and shipped it to Tulsa. She is a truly great bike. I just bought a classic BMW 75/5 Toaster and wife wants me to sell this one (and that's cheaper than a divorce, so... :-) I honestly don't think you'll find a much nicer example of a mid-80's K-series - especially for this price. Was $4250. Price reduced to $3750.

1987 BMW K S, Two BMW K75 motorcycles ready for restoration, or to be combined into one for the road with enough major parts left to sell and recoup much of your investment. 1986 K75C: I am only owner from new (May, 1986); cosmetically rough including replacement gas tank from later model with matching fuel pump and replacement BMW handlebar fairing, primed; almost new Metzeler tires. 1987 K75S: desirable model in good cosmetic condition; Kenda Challenger tires, almost new front and new rear, unmounted; ridden through this summer. (NOTE: photos are of K75S) My plan was to combine the known mechanics of the K75C with the cosmetics of the K75S for a fun, dependable ride for the next 20 years. Changes in life make this impossible so I am selling both bikes. Please contact me by email. Bring your own truck for pick up. Cash only. $3,170.00 6159757522
