This is a great bike. Rides great. Lots of power. Bike looks mean and stands out. People always ask what it is. I have never seen another on the road since I've owned it. Parts are still easy to find as it shares the same motor with other bikes. Good condition - don't expect a show bike though, it is almost 30 years old. Bike is mostly original. Directional lights have been changed to bullet style aluminum units. Original mirrors replaced with bar ends. Sissy bar has been removed and license plate has been moved to rear of bike. You can't tell where the sissy bar used to be. I think it looks better this way.Issues: Has some chips and scratches.Air box covers have cracks. One seam on seat has separated. I stitched back together, but would look better if done by a professional. It does not have the return cable on the throttle. Never had it since I've owned it and I haven't missed it.Thanks for looking! Background on the Eliminator:Introduced in 1985, and only produced for 2 years. It was produced as the ZL900 A1 Eliminator in 1985 and the ZL900 A2 in 1986, the ZL900 evolved from the Kawasaki GPZ900R. The ZL900 was designed to evoke images of the wildly successful Z1 drag bikes, with a bobbed rear fender, short travel fork, large rear tire, fat chromed mufflers, a small fuel tank and low straight handlebars. The ZL900 engine was a transplanted and slightly modified version of the liquid-cooled Inline 4 introduced in the 1984 Kawasaki ZX900 Ninja. Kawasaki used smaller 32 mm carburetors (the ZX900 used 34 mm), different timing and camshafts with less duration. This gave the engine a different personality, trading the Ninja's high-end power for low-end and mid-range performance that was more suitable for a cruiser. At the time, the ZL900 was the only bike in its segment using an Inline-four powerplant instead of a V4 configuration. These bikes were produced by Kawasaki in Lincoln, Nebraska for the American market.Specs as new:Engine and transmission:Displacement: 908.00 ccm (55.41 cubic inches)Engine type: In-line four, four-strokePower: 105.00 HP (76.6 kW)) @ 9500 RPMTorque: 85.30 Nm (8.7 kgf-m or 62.9 ft.lbs) @ 8000 RPMTop speed: 215.7 km/h (134.0 mph)0-100 km/h (0-62 mph): 3.000 secondsMax RPM: 10500Compression: 11.0:1Bore x stroke: 72.5 x 55.0 mm (2.9 x 2.2 inches)Valves per cylinder: 4Fuel system: Carburettor. 4 keihin cvk 32Fuel control: DOHCIgnition: transistorizedLubrication system: forced lubrication wet sumpCooling system: LiquidGearbox: 6-speedTransmission type, final drive: Shaft drive (cardan)Clutch: constant mesh return shiftExhaust system: stainless 4 into 2Chassis, suspension, brakes and wheels:Frame type: tubular double cradleRake (fork angle): 29.0°Trail: 102 mm (4.0 inches)Front suspension: telescopic fork pneumaticFront suspension travel: 150 mm (5.9 inches)Rear suspension: swingarm twin pneumatic shocksRear suspension travel: 110 mm (4.3 inches)Front tire dimensions: 100/90-18 56hRear tire dimensions: 160/80-15 74hFront brakes: Double discRear brakes: Single discPhysical measures and capacities:Dry weight: 238.0 kg (524.7 pounds)Power/weight ratio: 0.4412 HP/kgSeat height: 745 mm (29.3 inches) If adjustable, lowest setting.Overall height: 1,075 mm (42.3 inches)Overall length: 2,240 mm (88.2 inches)Overall width: 810 mm (31.9 inches)Ground clearance: 145 mm (5.7 inches)Wheelbase: 1,595 mm (62.8 inches)Fuel capacity: 11.00 litres (2.91 gallons)

1986 Kawasaki Eliminator 900, A classic - the 1985/86 ZL900 Eliminator was the 1st bike as manufactured to do 0-60mph is less than 2 SECONDS. No kidding...for only a 900cc engine, this bike is a screamer. Shaft drive, water cooled, in-line 4 cylinder Z1-B engine. This bike has not been modified - except for the turn-signals, the bike is ALL ORIGINAL. You may see these occasionally that have been jacked with - custom carbs or exhaust - or paint - this is original paint, exhausts - everything. My bike needs some TLC though - I purchased new gaskets/seals for the oil pan, pump, et al - but have realized I don't have the time and have lost the heart to do anything with it. It is a 28 year old bike - in great shape - a classic only manufactured in 1985 and 1986. The pics show that the original OEM mufflers have no rust - the original tank with the decal - no dings - no dents - the finish is really, really good... Have a cover, two helmets, a "fork bag", the repair manuals - and replacement turn signals for the rear. s:// /hvideo-xap1/v/t42.1790-2/1194571_10201752803244664_30890_n.mp4?efg=eyJ2ZW5jb2RlX3RhZyI6ImxlZ2FjeV9zZCJ9&oh=29ec892062ca54098ce299d4798936c6&oe=5509927A
