Longer, lower and better for touring than any scooter to date, the Helix was a landmark scooter that inspired many of today's maxi-scooters.  The Helix was the first scooter to feature a rear trunk and its decent size, along with a nice glove box, makes longer rides more feasible.  The intention of the Helix was to address the shortcomings that hinder scooters on the highway like short wheelbases, limited storage, mediocre brakes, and marginal comfort. In the USA, the Helix was sold from 1986 to 1987 and then it was dropped for 1988 as '87 models were clogging showrooms.  By 1992, that backlog was long gone and American enthusiasts began to realize what they had lost.  Honda responded to the requests of quite a few enthusiasts and returned the Helix to the USA market.  The Helix grew into a decently popular scooter and its owners are often quite enthusiastic about it.  It has a strong 'cult' following, especially in Japan. The Helix's motor is a low stressed, 2-valve 4-stroke engine that uses liquid cooling to keep the temperatures steady on all day high-speed rides.  This motor offers exceptional reliability and even today in its old age is still a strong performer.  The top speed is about 75 mph, cruising comfortably at 65-70 mph while achieving around 65 mpg. The Helix has a foot pedal for the rear brake like the larger Elite scooters.  Up front, it uses a disc brake, which was big news for its time.  When it was introduced the Helix was the only Honda scooter with a front brake.   The Helix offers a generous amount of storage, with a rear trunk made possible by its long design.  The stretched out length of the Helix allowed Honda to add the first ever rear trunk to a scooter, which was a radical concept at the time.  In addition to being long, the Helix is  low with a record setting 26.2" low seat, and has perhaps the longest wheelbase of any scooter at 63.8".     This unit features a Kenwood radio that was a genuine Honda accessory.

2016 Honda CRF 125F, 2016 Honda® CRF® 125F Sized Right For Fun Few things in life are as much pure fun as a dirtbike, as long as it s the right-sized dirtbike. That s why Honda builds so many differently sized models, and one of our best is the CRF125F. The next size up from our CRF110F, it s the perfect choice for both young riders and smaller adults. Loaded with features designed to make trail riding a relaxing, no-hassle experience, it s also pure Honda when it comes to reliability and durability. That means you get to concentrate on having a good time rather than trailside repairs or a bike that was designed by cutting corners. And when it comes to looks, the CRF125F takes its styling cues right from our full-on motocross bikes like our CRF450R and CRF250R. An electric starter makes it easy to get underway, while a four-speed transmission gives you all the control of a full-sized bike. Looking for something just a little bigger? There s even a big-wheel version for taller riders. Be A Responsible Rider: All parents need to consider their youngsters' age, size, ability and maturity before allowing them to ride. Obtain a copy of "Off-Road Safety Tips" from your local Honda Dealer. Features may include: Electric Starter Turn a key, push a button that s all it takes to get the CRF125F started. Add in a generous dose of Honda reliability and you ll find the CRF125F is super easy to own. Sized Right For Fun With its 125cc air-cooled, single-overhead-cam engine and four-speed transmission, the CRF125F will fit a wide range of riders. It has enough power for teens and small adults without being intimidating for younger riders. Stopping Power Just because it s a small bike doesn t mean we scrimped on the details just the opposite, in fact: The CRF125F s front disc brake is a perfect example. It s a big-bike feature that s pure Honda.

RARE 1992 Honda CBR 600F2 Clean original unmolested survivor - Turn Key rider ! !! ! 1992 was a good year for Honda; Doohan nearly beat Rainey for the 500cc title on the Big Bang NSR500, Duhamel dominated AMA on the CBR F2, the stunning NR750 was released and the CBR 600F2 easily won 600cc shootouts while garnering huge sales... ...but few of them survive today as they left the showroom in 1992. DELIVERY FOR A FEE IS POSSIBLE! PLEASE CONTACT FOR A QUOTE OR TO MAKE AN OFFER! 530-591-7001 PLEASE CHECK MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE BIKES!! This is a very clean 3 owner 1992 F2, it is stock and original, right down to the California emissions equipment and exhaust that was left untouched. It has been ridden, around 800 miles per year. Always stored indoors, maintained religiously and as it shows, cared for very lovingly. Finding classic sport bikes of this era in this type of condition is exceedingly difficult. Yes, Honda produced a lot of F2's, but most were tossed down the road, raced or otherwise abused. Few stock original low mileage examples like this survive today. In the last 100 miles the bike has received a full going over, carbs have been pulled, cleaned and synced. Fresh 50/50 coolant, oil / filter, newer battery, chain cleaned and lubed and new brake fluid front and rear. The valves were inspected and adjusted at 12,000 miles. Though not 100% perfect the bike is very close, there is a tiny bit of rash on the left engine cover from the first owner, also a small scratch on the left side tail cowl. The bodywork is all original and shows some small wear in a few other areas but by and large is in incredible condition for the age. Small things like the warning stickers are all intact, the gauges are immaculate, switchgear and original keys in great shape. Tool kit and owners manual under seat. There is some slight wear on the top triple but that is easily sorted out...I left it as is.This F2 will be right at home in any collection, as a weekend rider or anything in between. Clean title, excellent running condition, no stories or disappointments. Please email me with any questions or if you would like any additional photos or have concerns. I may be able to help deliver this bike in the lower 48, contact me for a quote!! From SportRider- " The F2 was announced in late 1990 at $4998 and it promised to be a worthy follow-up to the original Honda Hurricane that debuted in 1987. The CBR600F2 had a liquid-cooled DOHC engine with a 65mm x 45.2mm bore and stroke that was even more over-square than the original at 63 x 48mm. The cam chain was moved to the right end of the crank to eliminate one crank journal, and compression was bumped up from 11.3:1 to 11.6:1. The new bike also featured 34mm flatslide CV carbs vs. the older model's 32mm round-slide units. With lighter pistons, crank and con rods, it was able to achieve a 500-rpm bump in the rev-limit to 13,000 rpm. The bike also had side mounted air scoops but they fed cool air under the tank and not directly into the 6.2-liter airbox. The engine was known for making good top-end power without sacrificing the midrange, which is one of the things that made it so special. The cams were actually designed with midrange power in mind and the excellent cylinder head flow was rumored to be the secret to the top end power. The included valve angle was shrunk from 38 to 32 degrees, and a shim-under-bucket valve actuation replaced the old rocker arm assembly. This also allowed valve adjustments to jump from 5000 to 12,000-mile intervals. Honda also fitted a smaller clutch and primary gears to the F2 that allowed the output shaft to be positioned 0.5 inches closer to the crank. In order to compensate for the smaller diameter clutch they simply added a few extra plates and mated it to a six speed tranny. Overall the new engine was 2 inches smaller and 0.6 inches narrower and 1.3 inches shorter than the old model. This change along with a shorter fuel tank allowed Honda designers to move the rider closer to the front wheel and improve handling. The forks were upsized from 37mm to 41mm and featured preload adjustments, while a new single rear shock sported preload and rebound adjustments, in addition to a new box-section swingarm. Six-spoke RC30-style wheels were 3.5 x 17 inches in front and 4.5 x 17 inches out back. The chassis was a new twin-spar design but was still made from steel, with 25 degrees of rake and 3.7 inches trail with a 55.5-inch wheelbase. Front rotors were 275mm-diameter units squeezed by twin-piston slide-pin calipers. When fully tanked up, the F2 weighed a lean 455 pounds, making it the lightest bike in its class compared to the 490-pound Kawasaki ZX-6 or the 458-pound Yamaha FZR600. Owners of the F2 report that it was a very balanced bike that could easily be street-ridden or raced on the track. Unlike the extremely narrow focus bikes of today, the earlier generation could really do it all. The dyno charts of 1991 show the CBR-F2 making a class leading 85 horsepower and quarter-mile times of 11.3 seconds at 120 mph. And it was not only the quickest and fastest bike in the 600cc class, it still delivered 42 mpg. Honda ruled the 600cc roost and would not face a serious challenge until the new Ninja ZX-6R arrived in 1995. " I RESERVE RIGHT TO END AUCTION FOR LOCAL SALE!!!

Here we go! I bought this kit on eBay about 9 years ago. I had every intention of getting it finished and driving all over town. This kit has a completely rebuilt Chevy 350 already mated to the original Fiero 4 speed transmission. The clutch is BRAND NEW and stronger than the original. I couldn't see building one of these with the Fiero 6 cylinder engine. The 1987 Fiero had also already been professionally "stretched" to accomodate the Diablo wheelbase. The cooling system is also complete, featuring an electric water pump and front mounted radiator. I did verify that the engine ran but never actually drove the car as the body is not yet mounted. It does however move both forward and back. The engine does have new headers on it but that's as far as the exhaust goes. The body is complete minus the rear deck (I didn't receive it when I bought it) and the mirror shells (I haven't been able to locate them) I do not have the interior, other than the dash. The interior would need to be custom made anyway, so no big deal. I do have the headlights and I am still looking for the tail lights. I have the door latches and brand new white faced VDO gauges. I do not have the glass although it is available through AGP Inc. Somewhere along the line I got ahold of Diablo tube frame plans(also included) and decided that was the way to go. As shown in the pics, I didn't get that far after spending 1000.00 for steel and another 1200.00 for custom fabricated suspension parts. All of this is also included in the auction. The frame calls for Corvette C-5 calipers, which are also included. It also calls for Honda ball joints, S-10 bearings, etc. which I never purchased but are readily available. It also calls for a rack and pinion out of a Camaro or Firebird. The frame plans are AWESOME, eliminating the need for wheel spacers and allowing for the engine to be mounted more correctly. They would also allow for a beefier transmission, if you chose to finish the frame. If not, the Fiero frame would need very little to get up and running. Don't get me wrong, this kit is going to take alot of time to complete, but you'll be left with a truly beautiful car. I've tried to describe this in as much detail as I could. If you have any other questions, feel free to email me. I just remembered I also have the replica Diablo engine covers which would give the illusion that it was a Lamborghini engine in the car. This vehicle is being sold 100% AS-IS. FYI: I was just contacted by another eBay member and told that he could supply the missing deck lid....
