This ST1300 is in very good condition. I have owned the bike for two years and have thoroughly enjoyed riding it. Right now it has a little over 50,000 miles on it. It has the locking side cases and a locking trunk. The seat is adjustable to three heights. I’m around 5’10” and I can easily flat foot the bike. I have completed several maintenance items in the last couple of years. These include: replacement of all fluids with Honda products (brake fluid, clutch fluid, coolant, and final drive oil) in May 2015. New battery in 2015. Michelin Pilot Road 4 GT tires in June 2014 (they have approximately 5,000 miles on them). Cee Bailey windshield in 2015. This bike has linked brakes (non-ABS) and they will stop it in a hurry. It has an electric adjustable windshield that has become a little finicky since I added the big Cee Bailey windshield. It still works, however not perfectly. I normally have it set so I can see over the top of the windshield, so it hasn’t been a major concern. You can read all about these bikes on the internet. A concern I had before buying it was the engine heat issue. You can find horror stories on-line about these bikes producing tons of engine heat. Thankfully I have not experienced that with this bike. You know you have a 1300cc engine between your legs, however I have never experienced the heat issues that some of the bikes seem to have. All in all this is a great motorcycle for touring. I’ve ridden it from Kansas City to Wisconsin and it performed flawlessly. As opposed to the BMW motorcycle I had previously it is very reasonable to maintain and most items can be done at home. I trade bikes every couple of years, so it’s time for me to move on to the next toy.

2015 Honda Fury, Pin Striping by Bob Taylor 2015 Honda® Fury® Forget About Blending When was the last time you saw a beige motorcycle? Motorcycling has never been about blending in or being one of the herd. And that s especially true in the world of cruisers and customs. But we think a bike has to work as good as it looks, and that s what really sets the Honda® Fury® apart. Wanna turn some heads? The Fury® is guaranteed to do that. But it s also for riders who want a machine that they can cruise on all day long, that doesn t spend its life in the service bay. Long, lean and mean, stretching nearly six feet from axle to axle, this is an outrageous testimony to the builder s art. And the power and sound coming from its big 1312cc V-twin? Pure music. With clean, crisp lines few customs ever achieve, the Fury® is as eye-catching when it s stopped as when it s rolling down the highway. One ride, and you ll be hooked.A single powerful 336mm-diameter front-disc brake is complemented by a 296mm brake disc in back. An ABS version is also available Long Rake A raked-out front end and condensed, hard-tail look to the rear, plus a stretched wheelbase. And that long wheelbase is no illusion the Fury® stretches a full 71.2 inches between axles. High-Tensile Steel Frame The Fury® s high-tensile steel frame is the centerpiece to this machine s open, minimalist chopper styling. It s functional too, delivering smooth ride quality and responsive handling. Chopper Styling The Fury® is one of the most authentic, radically styled custom motorcycles that Honda® has ever produced. It features a teardrop seamless fuel tank, an ingenious single-shock rear suspension system and an aluminum swingarm. Fuel Injection Forget about fiddling with a choke the Fury®'s fuel-injection system means no-hassle startups on cold mornings or at high altitudes. 1300cc V-Twin Engine A powerful 1312cc, 52-degree V-twin engine with a single-pin crankshaft and dual balancers has plenty of torque, and the feel only a V-twin can deliver. The Fury®'s super-low 26.7-inch seat height is an integral design element that fits in behind the slim and long fuel tank. Shaft Final Drive The shaft final drive is quiet, clean and has been uniquely integrated into the overall design. Exhaust The Fury® s engine features specially designed camshafts that also add to the unique V-twin sound and power-pulse exhaust sensations. Unique Wheels and Tires A fat 200-series rear tire is paired with a slim 21-inch front tire, both wrapped around distinctive alloy wheels.

1997 Honda SHADOW, 1997 HONDA SHADOW - The "VT1100C" model was introduced in 1985. The dual horns are still located on the front and turning indicators are square shaped. Fuel and temperature gauges are located on the tank. The new engine is a 1,099 cc (67.1 cu in) SOHC Liquid Cooled V-twin with a five-speed, shaft drive transmission for 1985 and 1986. The engine is the same as the 1985 model. The "VT1100C" model took on a brand-new look for 1987 with a lower 26-inch-high (660 mm) seat, a longer 65-inch (1,700 mm) wheelbase, a 3.44 US gallons (13.0 l; 2.86 imp gal) fuel tank and a 41 millimetres (1.6 in) extended front fork design. Both mufflers were run along the right side and a small back rest was brought back. The engine is a 1,099 cc (67.1 cu in) SOHC four-stroke, liquid cooled V-twin with a four-speed, shaft drive transmission. Visually, the VT1100C matched most of the styling cues of the Harley-Davidson FXDWG Wide Glide. The "VT1100C" model was not manufactured in 1991, but returned in 1992 with a "Made in the USA" stamp on the seat. This year all bikes had the California option of an emissions control device mounted below the radiator.

This is without a doubt the best example of a Honda Super Magna you will ever find. The bike is a 1988 Honda Magna VF750C with just under 19,000 miles on the odometer. “Meticulous” is an understatement when discussing the care of this bike. When I purchased this bike from the second owner in 2004, she was pretty close to stock. In the ten years I’ve built her, countless improvements have been made with an eye toward the original design by Honda. She even won “Best Overall Super” at the 2009 meet of the Super Magna Owner’s Group in Elkins, West Virginia and was featured in the History of Motorcycles Show in Greenville, South Carolina the previous year. Before we get into the "what's been done," the asking price will include: The bikeThe rear seat and strap (not pictured)A new set of Avon Venom tires (value $300) The original front wheel (value $75) An original Hondaline backrest, brackets, and 6-pack rack - no reproductions here! (value $350) Custom leather tank bib (value $100) Hondaline engine guard and mounting hardware (value $300) That's an extra $1,125 in accessories and extra parts!! Now, about the bike... The bike “as is” needs absolutely nothing except someone to love and care for her and a set of tires (which again, I will give you). A significant amount of work has been done. This is the most comprehensive list I could think of just based off memory, receipts, and looking the bike over. I'm sure I missed some stuff. I'm including values for all this just so you can see the kind of work that went into this bike. V65 low profile front fender painted to match (value $150) Polished brake rotor (value $70 in polishing) Rebuilt and chromed brake caliper (value $150 in chrome) VT800 front wheel with powdercoated hub and SS spokes (value $300 for the wheel; $450 for rebuild)Chromed front forks with reflector bosses removed (value $300 in chrome) Progressive front springs (value $75)New fork seals and dust caps (another $60) Chromed Custom triple tree (aka “Hulio” Triple Tree) – You get the original too ($400 in parts and $150 in chrome) Chromed lower triple tree ($100 in chrome) VTX headlight (value $300) - even the headlight bracket was chromed (another $35) Neck covers painted to match (value $100) Kuryakyn turn signals (front and rear) - (value $300) 1 1/2" T-bars with chrome grips with chrome wide-blade levers (you get the original bars too) - (value $150) Stainless steel braided brake, clutch, and throttle lines (value $100) Chromed instrument bezel (even the trip dial on the side has been upgraded with the chrome one from a VTX) - ($75 in chrome) VTX/Shadow master cylinders and switch housings with chrome Kuryakyn covers (value $340) Highway Hawk reproduction chrome radiator cover (value $100) Chromed airbox covers ($120 in chrome) Custom Oil Pressure Gauge ($75 in parts) Newly painted tank with new OEM decals (inside is pristine!) - (value $300) Custom seat cover with Super Magna logo (value $100) Chromed engine covers, oil lines, and valve covers ($600 in chrome) Stainless steel braided covers on all cooling/radiator lines (value $300) Kuryakyn Pegs (front, passenger, and highway mounts) - (value $220) Sealed gel cell battery (and improved to 14 amp) - (value $60) Kevlar clutch with heavy-duty springs (value $180) Carbs cleaned, polished, and finished with stainless steel hardware (value $200) VTX 1800 shocks with chromed super tops installed (value $100 in parts and $75 in chrome) Custom "Magna" chromed reflector inserts on grabrails (value $100 in parts and chrome) Chromed rear wheel (value $350) License plate relocated to rear axle and rear fender insert professionally filled-in (value $100)Chrome oil cap and dipstick (value $50)Even found a receipt for $152 in chrome for "misc nuts and caps" That's $6,687 just in parts and chrome!? Add that to the accessories included above, and you're getting $7,812 in "extras" before even buying the bike!!Now, I was fortunate enough to be able to do all this work myself (except the chroming of course). But let's say you wanted to try and recreate this bike by have a shop do it. Let's be REALLY conservative and say a shop could dedicate three full weeks to doing all this work, and see how the math works out:I would expect a really nice stock Super to go for $4,000All the parts and chrome listed above; $6,678The accessories I'm including with this bike $1,125Three weeks of full time labor at a conservative labor rate of $50/hour is $6,000 So as you see, that's about $17,803 in parts, labor, etc to build a bike like this. Maintenance is far from an issue with this bike. Everything from brakes, caliper, carbs, fork seals, even the air diaphragms in the carbs have been replaced at one time or another over the past several years. Rebuilt clutch slave, new seals on the water pump, iridium spark plugs, brand-new NOS automatic fuel valve, things that rarely if ever need to be replaced have been done on this bike! Not out of necessity, but out of a desire for wanting “the best!” Oh, and none of these expenses are listed in the above numbers! I count all this as coming with a "really nice stock Super." Talk about attention to detail… Countless fasteners have also been replaced with either chrome hex head or allen head hardware. The “V45” logos on the airboxes were machined and chromed (not plastic like from the factory!)When things like valve covers were chromed, they got NEW gaskets – nothing reused!Spark plugs boots refinished Honestly, the only thing I never had a chance to do on this bike was chrome the kickstand. But I have an extra one for chroming which I’ll include to get you started on your first project with her! Not one single corner was cut in the care and use of this bike. This bike has never been abused in any way. Even the previous owner considered her his pride and joy. You will NOT be disappointed in this bike at all. Super Magna History. If you are unfamiliar with the Super Magna, it was a limited production bike by Honda only built in 1987 and 1988. The ‘87 is a 700cc liquid-cooled bike with a 6-speed hydraulic transmission. Don’t let age fool you; this engine has PLENTY of power!! It has a disc brake up front and a drum brake on the rear wheel. It is a shaft-drive bike (so no chain to maintain!!). Like many of their bikes, Honda will not release official production numbers for the Super Magna. Therefore, numbers can only be estimated. From a sample of 275 vehicle identification numbers (VIN) from members of The Super Magna Owners Group, as of May 24, 2006, production numbers are estimated at 10,397 for the ‘87 model and about a third of that for 1988. 800x600 Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4
