Open Vintage Flat track built with all the best parts Knight framed Yamaha YZ490 1987 Yamaha YZ490 engine the earlier 465s and 490s came in 4 speed the later as in the 1987 came in 5 speed huge difference for flat track racing. Then we went through the engine which came out of a climate controlled shop stored complete bike that was in mint perfect running shape already but we went through the engine from bottom to top all new bearings Barrnett clutch with custom right hand shift with the left side shift lever as well fresh bore new piston rings and we added a reed style compession release then we had Doug Howard former WKR apprentice do a full on performance stuffed crank major porting and polish with custom boost ports added with Boyesen power reed valve with a 44mm Lectron fuel system custom built for this bike by Kevin and David at Lectron, Jemco exhaust smoothed out the powerband and made this monster very trackable. Then we dropped this YZ490 in to a super light Knight frame that we had reinforced to hold all that HP in the frame, suspension is Fox shocks in the rear with New Ninja ZX10 front end with a custom made AFAB top clamp gold anodized flat track bend handle bars, Kenndy wheels spool front laced to a Sun gold anodized W3 rim and quick change rear laced to a Sun gold anodized W5 rear rim Maxis CD3 tires, Wilwood kart brake system with Cheney vented 12" brake rotor also you get the complete dual caliper front brake system for TT racing. Fuel tank and seat pan custom painted by Dan Goodwin from DG design with House of color high metallic paint. With the port work made this beast super fast and very trackable power pulls from the bottom all the way to the high revs. This bike is a proven winner now you can be one too. Comes with tool box with all the spare parts you might need at the track with every size counter shaft sprocket made all brand new with several brand new Vortex rear quick change rear sprockets. This bike is one of my pride and joys and I will not give it away it is worth every bit of what you pay for it.
