New 1974 Yamaha YZ250A, Stored indoors all these years. Furniture Grade! I have all the original paper work from the dealer I purchased it from in 1988. Also including owners manuals, tool kit, sales literature, stand, and a few spare parts. All original. As far as I can tell the only time it may have been ridden was very briefly by the dealer way back in June of 1973 after removal from the shipping crate and assembly. It has a few minor scratches from storage please see photos.

HERE IS A 1988 YZ 250U.. BOUGHT THIS BIKE FROM THE ORIGIONAL OWNER AND IT NEEDED A REFURB..I AM THE SECOND OWNER.. THIS BIKE HAS BEEN GONE THROUGH FROM FRONT TO BACK AND TOP TO BOTTOM.. EVERY PART THAT NEEDED REPLACED HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH NEW OR GOOD USED PARTS.. THE 88 YZ'S ARE A RARE BREED.. 82 THROUGH 87 THE YZ'S WERE PRETTY MUCH ALIKE. IN 88 THE BIKE WAS COMPLETELY REDESIGNED TO INCLUDE FRAME, SUSPENSION AND ENGINE ALONG WITH COOLING SYSTEM.. LIKE I SAID THE BIKE HAS BEEN REDONE.. IT WAS STRIPPED TO THE FRAME AND REPAINTED SILVER INSTEAD OF WHITE, PROFESSIONAL AUTOMOTIVE PAINT JOB.. HAS A COUPLE OF NICKS ON THE FRAME SINCE PAINT... THE ENGINE WAS TORE DOWN AND GONE THROUGH WITH ALL BEARINGS REPLACED AND SEALS AND GASKETS.. THE TOP END WAS REPLACED WITH A .50 OVERBORE.. VERY LITTLE RUN TIME ON THIS ENGINE.. PROBABLY 5 TO 6 HOURS TOPS.. HAS ORIGIONAL DECALS INSTALLED ON THE BIKE.. ALL WHEEL BEARINGS AND CHAIN AND SPROCKETS. ALL NEW CABLES ALONG WITH GRIPS AND BARK BUSTERS.. FORKS ARE REBUILT WITH NEW SEALS AND BOOTS AND REAR SHOCK HAS BEEN REPLACED.. NEW AIR FILTER AND OVERHAULED CARB.. TIRES ARE NEW AND READY TO GO.. LIKE I SAID ITS REDONE AND READY TO RIDE... I am selling a very nice stock 1988 Honda CR 250R. It is an awesome shape for the year and probably one of the nicest ones around for the age. All plastics are original and in great shape. The seat is perfect with no rips. The brakes work perfect and the clutch is smooth. You would not think this is a 26 year old dirtbike. I am including 2 new tires with it (see pic). The front one on it now is good and the rear is about 50% I replaced the chain and sprockets and just changed the oil. It runs great and has 215 pounds of compression.
