1991 Suzuki Gsx-R 1100, This bike is all original except for a Vance & Hines pipe, tinted wind screen and polished frame, swing arm and rims. Bike is in excellent condition for being 23 years old. Been a project for over 4yrs....Stretched 6'over , Lowered, Chromed, Polished, Steel Braided Clutch and Brake Lines, New Barnett Clutch Assembly, New Plugs, Oil and Filter, Carbs were overhauled about a year ago" Floats, seals etc" New gas Lines ,with Brand New Filters, Petcock, Tank was cleaned Out,.....Bike is an absolute beast, no need to explain to all who know about them, Bike was intended to be dragged never seen the track , Local riding is all she seen, registered,insured and inspected. This is a beautiful 1991 GSXR 1100, it is mostly original except for the absolute best sounding 4 into 1 Supertrapp exhaust and K&N filters. I also did a fender eliminator kit back in the day, turn signals are now part of the brake lights...VERY COOL. I recently added stainless brake and clutch lines from HEL. The brakes just weren't as responsive as they were back when it was new. I also just put new Michelin Pilot tires(less than 350 miles on them), fork seals, brakes, new battery, oil change and new filter. Bike runs PERFECT, exactly how it did when it was new, but slightly faster. Bike needs nothing at all. It has 27,852 miles. I did tip it over in the drive way 2 summers ago. The left side frame cover has a few scratches on it from that day. I have tried to find a new replacement but haven't found one yet. You can hardly tell, the paint is awesome and of the 5 of these bikes I have owned over the years this one is the best one all around. MY FAVORITE, sounds truly awesome and runs absolutely perfect. I have a couple of extra brand new body parts for it that include the silver center v cowl, I just never put it on. I also have the left side mid fairing both parts are OEM and brand new and will be included with the bike. It has been in garage or hangar all the time. Paint shines like new and no oxidation on the black controls. Looks like new still. I also am selling my Blue / White 91 GSXR as you can see in the pictures. They both are on eBay. As you can tell I store both my bikes in my hangar with my plane. I am very meticulous about my toys so I assure you they are in great shape. This is a beautiful 1991 GSXR 1100, it is all original except I recently added stainless brake and clutch lines from HEL. The brakes just weren't as responsive as they were back when it was new. I also just put new Michelin Pilot tires(less than 200 miles on them), fork seals, brakes, cleaned carbs, new battery, oil change and new filter. Bike runs PERFECT, exactly how it did when it was new. I also have the solo seat cover that came with the bike when it was new. Bike needs nothing at all. It has 22,389 miles. It has never been tipped over in its life. It has been in garage all the time. Paint shines like new and no oxidation on the black controls. Looks like new still. There is a small scratch in the blue decal on the front fairing that I have touched up. Can hardly tell it is even there. I always keep the tank full of fuel. Looks brand new inside. I also am selling my Red/Black 91 GSXR as you can see in the pictures. They both are on eBay. As you can tell I store both my bikes in my hangar with my plane. This 1989 GSXR 1100 motorcycle has had two owners (me, the original owner when purchased brand new (owned from 1989-1991), and a second owner who owned the motorcycle from 1991-2013, from whom I purchased the motorcycle back last year (in October of 2013). This motorcycle has been garaged throughout its life time, and has been well taken care of and is in as close to mint condition as you will find for a motorcycle of this year, make and model. It also has a polished frame, polished front and rear sets, polished Yoshimira exhaust, new chain and sprockets and new tires. It does need a little TLC to get running again but once done, it would be well worth it. I have a full Parts and Service Department if you would like us to do the work for you, or if you want to do it yourself I will give you a discount on any parts and accessories you need, so you would basically get them at employee cost. From what we have found it will need the following parts replaced; crank shaft, starter solenoid, battery, and starter gear. Depending upon cost of the parts, and if it needs anything else, it may be cheaper just to swap the motor. This bike at this price more than makes up for the cost of repairs with alllll of its custom and functional parts. It has a clean, green, clear title. If nothing else the bike is worth $2k in parts and accessories! If I had the time I would fix it and flip it, or strip it and part it out. I would much rather see it fixed and ripping up the streets again than parted out, because after all, it was bikes like this 1991 Suzuki GSX-R 750 that helped paved the way for the Super Sport bikes we have today. A little more information on the 1991 Suzuki GSX-R 750: Power was up to a real world 92 horsepower, from the previous model, and the bike was capable of doing more than 230km/h in a straight line. The new, shorter stroke 749cc inline-four got a new bottom end (adapted from Suzuki’s own GSX-R1100), revved quicker and higher than the old model’s engine and was less peaky. While the older GSX-R didn’t wake up at all before 7,000 revs, the new one started making its grunt from 5,000rpm onwards – a big improvement for low speed, city riding. In a surprise move though, the M model went back to a longer stroke engine (perhaps to improve rideability and further reduce peakiness…?), which also made a genuine 100bhp for the first time.The bike’s chassis was a strengthened, beefed-up version of the first GSX-R’s perimeter alloy frame, and steering geometry was made more radical in order to quicken the steering.
