1991 Yamaha xt350 enduro or dual sport motorcycle. 8000 miles average condition. I bought it last summer anticipating my eldest getting his cycle endorsement this spring but it won't happen till next spring so off this goes. I've ridden this around our yard and short rides down our street (no plates or insurance on it) and it feels fine. exceptions from stock: 1.previous owner put renthal bars on it (looks like it had a driveway tip to the right given tank dent and repaired guage mount) 2. exhaust was uncorked (by previous owner) 3. rejetted by me (because they are lean from the factory and to compensate for #2) 4. upgraded wheels, aluminum swing arm, larger brakes and drive chain from xt600 ( rear rim had flat and was bent, xt350 drive chains are known to be too small for the torque) I have a clear Michigan title for it, asking $1500.00 obo and it is sold as-is. The seat does have a puncture, it was repaired with black rubber (seen in pics) new covers are cheap on ebay, but the cushion is sealed in. I would trade for a off road only dirt bike like a xr400, ttr or crf (F or X, not R) I need another trail bike for a 6' tall older teen so ideally it would be a 225/230/250 engine size. I would also consider a large wheel 125/150 engine size but not my 1st choice. **********I can deliver within about 40 miles of 49286. ************Please note there is a $50 non-refundable deposit due within 48 hrs. Classic 81 Yamaha DT175 Enduro This is a Street legal 2 stroke Dual purpose bike The bike is in Excellent condition and runs great When I purchased this bike in 2011 it had not run since 1991. I completely dissembled the engine and reassembled it to make sure everything was good. I am a professional motorcycle builder so I decided to modify the engine to look completely stock but run like a hotrod. The bike stock is about 15HP this one is more like 20HP. Rev's out higher and quicker and pulls strong throughout the entire RPM range. Engine modifications; -Professionally ported cylinder -Reworked milled head -Oversize reed block ( Yamaha Banshee ) -26mm Mikuni Carburetor ( looks like stock 2mm larger ) -Modified exhaust system ( For more RPM's ) -Modified silencer ( more free flowing ) -First oversize Yamaha piston Please ask all Questions before bidding.
