The hollow-type mounting bolts further reduce weight. The standard equipment Antilock Brake System (ABS)* unit features a lightweight, compact design. The ABS enhances brake performance by helping prevent, to a certain extent, wheel locking due to changes in road conditions or excessive braking, by matching stopping power to available traction.

Side note on the bike: The VX800 standard/ naked sportbike was produced and sold in the US from 1991 to 1993. It used the same engine as the VS800 Intruder, only with a vacuum operated fuel pump instead of the Intruder’s electric one. The rest of the bike is totally different, but the engines interchange

This 1993 Suzuki Intruder 1400 has low miles and is a super clean bike. Just got checked at Triborough Cycles and is good to go. Tyres are 75%, comes with saddle bags, a new weather resistant cover, a new rear sissy bar pad and highway pegs which are awesome for those long cruisy rides. The bike is super clean and has custom painted decals on the tank! Straight pipes give it an AWESOME sound.

When I purchased this bike in 2015, it looked almost showroom-new. Only a couple of small scratches (see photos below), and the paint shined! Personally, I am not comfortable on gravel, so I've done less than 10 miles of hard-packed, smooth gravel. Tank and side panels are almost perfect. Bike runs great with the PCIII taking care of the stock lean stumble in O/D. It pulls smoothly from 2500 RPM in all gears (3000 RPM in O/D). Fuel economy averages 40-42 MPG.I did drop the bike once while slowly pulling out of a parking spot. I was able to come to a stop and gently lay the bike down. The engine guard did its job, with only a small scratch on the guard, and a small scuff on the RH handguard. There is also a small scuff on the bottom of the RH rear pannier. No bodywork was damaged. 2005 Suzuki Sv650 , Up for sale is my 2005 Suzuki SV 650 NAKED style. I am the third owner- it sat a bit for the first years of its life but it's tuned up and running very well! I have installed a Yoshimura RS3 stainless steel pipe for road awareness- it also sounds great in a quick punch of the throttle! Please let me know if you're interested! Everything is stock except the pipe. Beautiful blue color- I love this bike but I'm trying to sell in order to get a bike with a larger seat to ride longer distances with my wife. $3,600.00
