Bike is being sold locally as well and I reserve the right to close this Ebay sale at any moment. I still drive the CT70 and there may be up 20 miles added to the mileage. Includes original Owners Manual, Honda and two other original Honda manuals for riding off road and on road. It was always kept in my garage and for several years kept in dining room; you can do things like that when you get a divorce. It ran very nicely the first 6 months but wouldn't start up after it sat around for another 6 months unused; I know, you can't let gas sit around like that but it was never the intention to let it sit; just got busy and days turned into months. With 6 other vintage motorcycles and 3 vintage cars, all waiting for attention, I just got around to getting this bike detailed and running. I would love to keep it but have bills waiting at my door. All blinkers, brake lights and horn, work. It has a brand new, sealed, 12 volt battery: no need to be topping off the battery through out the year. Issues: I have the original title, however at the time I didn't know much about titles. The original title is signed by the dealership to the buyer but no subsequent titling was done by owners. I have the receipt for the next purchaser, from whom I purchased the bike, but the state of Texas requires special procedures for me to get the titling back on par. So the bike is being sold "as is" with title issue. It has a small oil leak that appears to emanate from the drive shaft exit from the transmission case. I just received a new oil seal from Honda; hopefully installing it will address the oil leak. When rebuilding the carburetor, I wanted to soak both bottom and top in carb cleaner. To do this I removed the air throttle screw so that passageway would get good cleaning. To remove the air throttle screw, you have to break off a cap that keeps it from being manipulated, and breaking the cap, broke off the head of the screw leaving a small stub to grab onto. Using needle nose pliers I unscrewed the throttle screw and when re-assembling the carb I was able to screw it back in all the way and back it out 1 and 5/8 turns as the factory service manual specifies. I have a brand new after market carb for this bike but the original Honda carburetor seems to be working beautifully as is. See the video Vid5 above. Bike is sold "AS IS". I have learned a lot working on it and my other machines but there is no "expert" over here. Watch the videos to get a feel for its state of being. The gas tank had a lot of gunk and rust but I was able to shake it, with nuts and bolts inside, to break up all the rust. I washed the results out with soap and water, used a blow dryer to dry out the inside and then filled it up with Metal Rescue and let it sit for about 8 hours. The results were spectacular and I filmed the results with an endoscope. You can see the results in the "Must Watch" video above(Vid6).
