I am selling my 1998 Harley Softail Springer. The color is Violet Pearl which really looks nice and from what I can tell, is a rare color. The motor was completely rebuilt at 29,000 and now makes 84HP and 93LB feet of torque. The odometer is currently at 33,174 so the motor has just over 4000 miles on it. When I built this bike, I pretty much designed it to be a knock-off of the Softail CVO convertible. Although, this bike will go right by a CVO 110. It is light and fast but the Johnson Engineering head kit, along with the Andrews cam and other modifications on this bike make it very dependable and I get 50 MPG if I ride respectably. See the full build sheet which is listed in the pictures. It cost me $3,825.40 in total for all the motor work. I have also added a set of genuine CVO leather wrapped hard saddlebags that came off a Softail convertible CVO ($1,850 for the set if you try to buy them from the dealer). These bags have the quick disconnect feature and can be removed within seconds They also lock on the bike so they cannot be stolen. I also have the removable quick disconnect windshield. I have also added Progressive air adjustable suspension which allows you to lower this bike for a real mean aggressive look. Or if you are going away for the weekend and plan on riding with a passenger, pump up the shocks by simply pressing a button and the onboard compressor raises the suspension for a more cushy and comfortable ride. Then put on your saddlebags and windshield and you are good to go. Other expensive options I have added is a genuine Harley Davidson Daymaker LED headlight. I also have the Digital Dakota LED digital speedometer which includes a tachometer. This speedo has a built in data-logger and you can do zero to sixty and quarter mile runs with it. You can also do so much more with it and I have the original owners manual which will be included. It has a 21 inch laced front wheel with diamond cut spokes and a solid rear wheel from a Softail Custom. I have pullback drags on it with a very nice pullback for comfort but I also have the stock 6 inch risers and a set of drag bars which are included. There are also 3 seats that come with the bike. The Harley Badlander which you see on the bike and also the stock Springer seat and a Softail Custom seat. I have a low backrest currently on the bike but I also have a quick disconnect passenger backrest for longer rides. The backrest simply clicks right on and off within seconds. The bike sounds really nice with the Thunder header exhaust and it pulls hard all through the RPM range. The other nice upgrade I added was the Harley Boom audio speakers and amplifier which cost me $400.00 form the dealer. I am also including the iPod and the handlebar mounted iPod holder. Once you have tunes on your Harley, you will never be able to ride without them again... I also have a Genuine black Harley CVO cover for this bike which included. I got this 1998 Heritage Springer from my dad. He bought it at Jamestown Harley. I've owned it for a couple of years. Don't have much time to ride and it sits more than it should. Looking for a good home for it. Turnkey condition. Nothing wrong with it. Good paint and chrome. Does have 16 inch apes, Bolt on Rineharts, and adjustable lowering shocks.
