Burgandy in color, ---(dark red) --- Runs and rides great ! -- Looks very good, has a new tire on front, (last week) --- Rear tire is good for another season or two. ---- No ABS -- No Nav ---No heated grips--- Has 4 speaker stereo --- everything works as it should, including the cruise control, etc, Only thing that does not work properly is reverse. --- I do not know why, ---- sometimes it will go into reverse, most of the time it does not. The "R" on the dash will flash about 1 time per second, my guess is a faulty relay, or a cable adjustment. It it worked fine until this season, -----I have owned many Gold Wings, and many more Harleys, If you are old with a fat passenger, you may have a need for 'reverse' otherwise, it truly doesn't get much use. (except to show your friends that you can go backwards) -- Am selling AS IS, I have discounted the price accordingly, and the price is FIRM! --- Just had all new hydraulic clutch seals and fluids put in it, -----new front and rear brakes with less than 1,000 miles! --- Paint is good, mechanically is very good, ---- everything works except the reverse as noted. --- Honda made vast improvements for the GL 1800 beginning in 2006. For sale is this low miles 2 tone red and black King's Mountain Indian Chief Vintage that originally sold new for $37,500. It has a 105 cubic inch engine with plenty of torque for acceleration along with a Baker 6 speed transmission that is smooth shifting and allows the bike to run all day on the highway at 70 MPH in 6th gear at about 2500 RPMs. It's a great highway bike. It is currently set up with a solo seat and seat rail with a luggage rack, but also comes with a passenger seat, passenger footboards and a tall backrest with a luggage rack on it as well. It also has the stage one performance exhaust and chip installed. The paint, leather and chrome are all in great shape. The only issue it has is that the windshield lock broke off and may need to be replaced, although the spring loaded clips on the windshield hold it in place just fine without the lock and it can be removed from the bike with a slot screwdriver. I'm only selling it because I already have 3 other Indians that I like to ride (1 Polaris and 2 Springfield) and this bike needs to be ridden more than I have time for so I want to send it to a good new home. There is no warranty offered or implied with this bike, what you see is what you get, so please ask any questions you may have before you buy or make an offer. If you're in the local area, you're more than welcome to come by and see it up close and inspect. It is a beautiful example of a King's Mountain era Indian motorcycle that was manufactured, in limited numbers, in North Carolina before the company was sold to Polaris.
