2000 MOTO GUZZI Jackal (California V11) with 9300 original miles. This bike runs very strong, and includes many factory upgraded parts: dual front disk brake conversion, chrome lower frame rail covers, chrome starter cover, aluminum front brake caliper covers, polished valve covers, polished head guards, polished alternator cover, chrome engine guards, center stand. There are a few cosmetic issues: scratches on mufflers and headers, scratches on front forks, etc. Signals are present but not currently working. Head light and brake lights work, but taillight running light not working. Speedo and warning lights need to have wiring connected (it looks like original headlight has been replaced, but wiring not reconnected). Cool aluminum street-tracker handlebars! Please view pictures closely and feel free to ask any questions. Fresh tune-up, including valve adjustment, spark plugs, Redline Heavy Duty Shockproof gear oil in transmission and rear drive. This is a great bike for a cafe conversion or custom project. Runs, shifts, and drives beautifully. If I were to keep it, I'd add bar-end mirrors, Emgo Dunstall replica mufflers ($100/pair), remove the signals, add a Lucas taillight, and ride it forever! These Tonti-framed Guzzis handle like sport bikes, sound like the voice of god, and run forever with the soul and character that only Italian bikes provide. I have too many projects and not enough time and space, so someone will get a killer deal on this one. Sold as is, with signed, clean, open AZ title, one set of keys, and shop manual. Please email or phone for more info: (818) 424-5631 Seller reserves the right to end auction early due to local sale. Update: I noticed a chip at the top of the right lower fork leg. It doesn't seem to be adversely affecting the seal or the fork function. Mentioned here in the interest of full disclosure. You are bidding on a 2000' Moto Guzzi California "Jackal" in very good condition. This bike has very low miles for the year-Only 11,642,which if you know Guzzis, this is not nearly broken in yet. These are easily 100,000 mile bikes, and theres no reason to think that this one will not make it there.I have owned a couple of these over the years, and I can tell you that they are great for cruising,as well as taking them through the twisties.A lot of the period road tests confimed that these are a true "sport cruiser",with the emphasis on "sport". This bike fires right up due to fuel injection, and she goes through the 5-speed gear box via heel/toe shifter with no issues.Brakes work great,as do all lights,switches,signals,etc..Front tire has another season of tread left, and the previous owner put a new tire on the back at the end of the last season. Cosmetically,I would rate the bike a 8-9 out of 10.All paint on the tank/fenders is really nice with a couple of scratches on the front & rear fenders, but nothing on the tank. The paint on the frame has dull, faded areas here & there, but would probably buff out if you take the time.Chrome on the bike is in great shape, but there are a few areas of surface corrosion on the inner beads of both chrome rims.Nothing major, but I did want to note it. Just changed the oil,oil filter this weekend, and there is also a new fuel & air filter included with the bike. Also, the rear passenger pad is included, but not shown on the bike.Hepco/Becker chrome engine guard installed. Use the "Buy It Now" option, and I will include the clear windshield & the Tour Master bags & mounts shown in the last pictures.Or,feel free to shoot me an offer,as riding season has just begun!Really a great overall bike for the money. Please ask questions,as all sales are final.Winning bidder to provide pickup or transport of the bike within 10-14 days.If needed,I can provode the name & number of the shipper I have used over the years-Very reasonable rates, and a true pro with bikes!A Paypal down payment of $500 due within 48 hours, and full payment due within 7 days-No exceptions.

1999 Moto Guzzi Bassa V11 Twin For Sale only 7,434 ORIGINAL miles on its 1,100 cc engine and 5 speed transmission. (COPY & PASTE "1999 Moto Guzzi Bassa V11, 1999 Moto Guzzi Bassa V11 Twin For Sale" in YouTube search box) Up for sale is a relatively rare motorcycle, a 1999 Moto Guzzi, and an even more rare model, the California Bassa V11, which was only offered in 1999 and 2000. The bike sat in storage most of its life. I purchased it in December 2012 knowing that the engine had not run since 2006. I parked it in my garage for another year. One year later I finally moved it unto the motorcycle lift and started working on it. It fired right up for the 1st time in 8 years after, > cleaning out and sealing the fuel tank, > replacing the fuel lines, > filters, > pump, > injectors, > engine oil, > all air & oil filters > and the spark plugs. Then I proceeded to restore and upgrade as the weeks and months went by, like > replaced upper & lower forks with V1100 Jackal, > replaced shocks with adjustable 1500 Kawasaki Nomad, > replaced front blinkers with 1500 Kawasaki Nomad, > replaced rear directional with 750 Kawasaki Vulcan, > replaced mirrors with 750 Kawasaki Vulcan, > factory exhaust with flow through glass packs, > custom paint here and there like on the valve covers, etc. Also during that time my health changed to where I cannot ride a motorcycle any longer. So reluctantly I am looking for a new owner for the Bassa. Hopefully someone who knows what a great motorcycle that those Italians at the Moto Guzzi plant know how to manufacture! The few times I did get to drive it, people would go out of their way to tell me what a very nice motorcycle that I had because it looks aharp and its not just another Harley or Honda! It's truly different! Everything works as it should but there are several things still lacking that I just cannot get around to finish on the bike: > The fuel tank needs finishing touches of paint up underneth at the edges - nothing major. > It needs a new rectifier, which is mounted onto the frame and easy to get to - eBay has them for $80. > I have a few spokes I ordered for the wheels where they broke in a couple of places (wheels do not have to be removed to install the spokes). > The clutch slips under very hard acceleration, but is fine otherwise. But that would need to be fixed before any serious riding. > Has a very small oil leak noticable after a ride - not enough to worry about damaging the engine, but annoying because it leaves a small oil spot where it is parked. Sorta lost track of the time and money which I have put into it, but I am guestimating around $6,500. With its first exposure to the public, I am asking only $3,500.
