Hello! I recently bought this bike because I've always liked it. Cheap, easy, reliable fun... economical and super comfortable! Great and hugely underrated simple sport-touring bike with great ergos and big fuel range due to a big gas tank, good gas mileage! I recently acquired a Buell in a trade; I love them both, but one has to go! Whichever doesn't sell I'm keeping, but I'm listing this first and at a decent price in an attempt to sway fate. Bike is very clean, as you can see in the pictures! New tires, new chain, clean carbs, and a fresh oil change, but I'm not sure on any other maintenance. The only issue is that the previous owner uncorked the pipe, so it's a bit louder than stock, but not insane. I also have the side covers (not pictured, I liked the look of the bike with them off) with hardware, chain guard, stock windscreen, as well as the right passenger peg, which was also replaced with a crash protector peg. 2001 Kawasaki ZR7s 750cc standard bike with 52K miles. 5-speed, carbureted, air cooled with oil cooler, 8 valve, inline 4. It's a simple bike that is simple to maintain and starts every time. Although it's a little on the heavy side, it has a upright position making the bike very controllable. It has enough power to keep you entertained (much better than a ninja 250 or 500), but not enough to get you in trouble. It has features like a center stand and a real gas gauge that you won't find on other bikes this size. I learned how to ride on this bike in 2007 and have been using it on my 15 mi commute since. Registered thru Dec. It has a brand NEW leather seat, Yoshi slip on exhaust, k&n air filter, newish tires, easy naked conversion. And has a few issues, a few of the lights on the gauge cluster have gone out; it has scratches here and there (it's been dropped by me and the previous owner) and just had leak in the gas cap. I did a quick fix on the cap by cleaning out the vent tube and put an o-ring behind the existing rubber gasket to create a good seal. It works, but a new cap is about $30 for aftermarket replacement and $60 for OEM (51049-0018).
