2001 Kawasaki Kx , I have an 01 Kawasaki kx 250 2 stroke. The bike starts and runs. Top end has recently been rebuilt with sleeve installed. It has a Wiseco piston set with less than 5 hours on it. it also has hotcams hot rods crankshaft that was upgraded on it by previous owner along with upgraded front fork. It has a brand new rear tire and grips and I recently had the carb rebuilt. The bike has normal wear and tear but for the most part is in pretty good shape. See pictures below. This Bike has been sitting in storage for years. I been meaning to get back into riding and fix it but with time came 3 kids. So time for someone else to have the chance at this beast. This bike has never been plated or bored but modified with a good exhaust power reeds and top of the line fatty pipe. Sounds Superior!! Bike needs new bottom Barings . The only problem with the rod is that it has about 1/4 inch of play when u move it up and down which tells me the Barings are wore. Tires look super good also.

super nice low hour kx500. as you can tell by the pics this bike was recently taken down to the from and given a freshening. it didn't have more than 30 hours on it to start with. it had been sitiing in a garage for just over 10 years collecting dust and getting faded plastics from the sun shining thru the window on it all those years. the motor has never been apart and is in great condition and runs perfect. I've owned tons of these 500's and I know them well. I went completely theu the bike and replaced what needed to be replaced,but I didn't want to go to crazy on the restoration and make it so nice I wouldn't want to ride it. It had the original tires on it still and they were rock hard so I thought that would be a good place to start. all the suspension linkage ,pivot points and steering stem have been repacked with fresh Bel-Ray waterproof grease. fork seals and shock are all in great original condition.wheel bearings are good. this bike is completely ready to ride it needs nothing. and yes I know you can find clapped out kx500's for half this price.but you'll end putting more time and money into one of those bikes than just buying one with all the time and money already spent on it.
