It also has a new battery that I purchased and installed. My daughter plays travel hockey for the Jr Sharks so I haven't had any free time to ride, so it sat for over a year. However, I wanted to make sure everything was in excellent shape before I sold it. As for the price, my mechanic told me that's what he sees them going for and apparently the red color scheme is very desirable. I do have it listed as "or best offer" so I am willing to negotiate. The bikes is in great shape. The only problem I've had since I bought it was a design flaw in the transmission. I spent close to $2,000 to remedy it, as cassette transmissions are very expensive to work on, but it has been bullet proof ever since.
