Runs very well and maintains an even idle speed. Starts cold with no problem or altering of choke. The few issues with the bike are: Scratches and nicks from normal wear and tear. Rust on rear brake pad and chain. Light bulb for tachometer is burned out. Kickstand safety switch works but acts up now and then. The motorcycle has been well maintained. The brake fluid, coolant, and oil have been changed recently and the chain is oiled regularly. Both spark plugs were changed within the last year. The rear brake disc and pads are almost new. It comes with an aftermarket windshield and two new rear view mirrors. The color when I purchased it was red and I repainted it yellow. Here you are looking at a 2001 Suzuki SV650s with the SVXR fairings. These fairings are only made in England, and they are build to order, realistically this is the main value of the bike. I bought the bike to have a project, but currently have no more extra money to keep the bike. Couple weeks ago I took the bike out and for some reason it lost the power, and is not wanting to stay running on its own. The bike does start, especially seems to start better when cold. Also when running, while holding the throttle about third of the way, it starts shooting out flames out of the exhaust, to me it seems like a carb issue. Overall the bike is definitely an eye turner, I am not a professional, but I did spend some time on the paint job and other small details of the bike. As mentioned in the description, this bike does have imperfections though, just being honest about it (if you have any questions, feel free to ask). Hopefully there is nothing serious with the bike (when it comes to the motor) and just a simple fix with the carbs for someone with experience. Overall this bike is one of a kind, and with this fairing kit, probably one of very few in United States. Also I will include the SVXR single seat conversion, this is still bare fiberglass, if wanted! Feel free to send an offer, we will go from there. Thanks for looking!

Only down side is when we did our military move, TMO lost one of the legs for the rear lift. I am in the process of trying to find it or buying a new rear lift. I also have a trickle charger.
