NOTE: It says clear title but Colorado does not have titles for dirt bikes so it is a DMV bill of sale. If you want a titled bike for the street,I can title it before it leaves here. read the bottom of this description for info. This bike is a legendary desert racer affectionately known as the Big Red Pig.. Compared to the xr400 I used to have, this bike will flat out get it. Snappy is an understatement, this baby was meant to cruise across the dirt at a high rate of speed. 2002 BRP. If your looking then you probably already know what this is. If you don't then you can find more info than you ever wanted o know by goggling xr650r. This bike is stock stock including original tires ( not replacement originals). The only mod is an uncorked factory exhaust "tip" and carburetor jets for the high altitude. I dont believe there is a thousand miles on this bike. I have no proof of this other than the condition of the bike. The previous owner owned a ranch and said it just sat in his barn for the 7 years he owned it. I knew why it sat in his garage when I asked him to start it. He had no clue. He tried to muscle the kick starter and that is absolutely the wrong way to start this bike. This bike starts easily on the firs or second kick. you could do it in flip flops, you just have to do it right. there are plenty of you tube videos showing how to and once you got it down you can laugh at the fact that you were worried about it in the first place. I love this bike but I cant keep everything and other things have priority so up for sale it goes. If you ever wanted one, this is it. Stock unmolested , low mile beauty No leaks or seeps. the side covers barley show any ware. It has a fresh oil change and the old oil was clean and free of any metal (I still have it). There are no problems with any of the controls everything works the way it should. bike does not look like it has ever been down. The only 2 flaws I can find are - the decal on the top left of the tank is wrinkled some from age and the left radiator tank has a dinge in it from an unknown source. This is a dirt bike. In Colorado if you want to ride it on the street you will have to put DOT tires on it along with a headlight bulb that is DOT legal, a brake light switch and a horn. DMV will then issue a title and register it for you. Pretty simple. If this is something you need then send me a message and we can discuss getting it titled. The good thing about the bike not being titled is that no one has had a chance to abuse it on the street.
