In addition you are always welcome to come check this quad out and ride/inspect it for yourself before the auction ends to ensure your happiness. Thank you for looking at our auction. Bike: This bike is a VERY nice 2004 Honda CRF250X. It is one of the most versatile, dependable dirtbikes ever made. The CRF250X has the right stuff to dominate the dirt. Beyond it's powerful and lightweight engine, it has dozens of smart features like works-type front and rear brakes discs, a narrow fuel tank that's easy to move around, and an 18-inch rear wheel for more flat-tire protection. In short, all the attention to detail you'd expect in a Honda. The heart of this machine is the compact and lightweight 249cc four stroke, liquid-cooled, unicam engine. It utilizes a gear-driven counterbalncer that reduces vibration and drives the water pump. Eight clutch plates provide the surface area necessary to handle the engine's massive torque, while carefully matched clutch springs provide a light feel at the lever.It's twin-sump lubrication system separates the oil supply for the crankshaft, piston and valve train from the clutch and transmission. This ensures a cool supply of oil to the clutch, eliminates clutch and transmission material contamination of the engine oil, reduces the amount of circulating oil and permits the use of a smaller oil pump. If you are reading this you probably know about Honda's legendary quality. We get to work on every manufacturer out there and the simple truth is that Honda's are simply a better made product than the competition. Of course it does come with a clear title. Condition: This machine is in excellent condition. It doesn't have any odometer or hour meter on it, so we can't tell you exactly how many miles or hours are on it. What we can tell you is that this machine was bought brand new by an adult local owner who never raced it and always kept it well maintained. This is a very nice machine that hasn't been wrecked or flipped. Someone is going to get a very nice machine at a great price. The engine is perfect and fires immediately. It runs great with no misses, noises, leaks, or smoke. The chassis and suspension are in excellent shape with nothing damaged, bent, or broken. The brakes all function perfectly and the suspension is nice and tight with no play in the wheel bearings, tie-rod ends, etc. The plastics look extremely clean. There are some trail scratches here and there as should be expected with a used bike, but there are absolutely no cracks or broken plastic and it obviously hasn't been wrecked or flipped. It is very hard to stress how nice this bike looks. We tried to hunt for blemishes, and couldn't really find anything. Everything on it functions exactly as it should. Details: Overall this is a very nice bike that will make someone very happy. As for transaction details, We are MLS Powersports, located in Georgetown, Kentucky (40324). We are right off Interstate 75, 15 miles North of Lexington, KY and 75 miles South of Cincinnati, OH. Our preference is that you pick this machine up with cash in person, but we will also accept a certified check, or bank to bank wire transfer. It MUST be paid for (not necessarily picked up) within 7 days of the auctions close. We are willing to ship it but you must make the arrangements. If you pick this ATV up in person, we are required by law to charge you 6% Kentucky sales tax. We will provide the winner with a KY Certificate of Sales tax paid. When you title this ATV in your home state they WILL credit the 6% back to you and you will only have to pay the difference (if there is any) to your local sales tax. (Except in West Virginia) We do this all the time, do not worry, you will not have to pay sales tax twice. If you have it delivered to you, anywhere outside of Kentucky, you do not have to pay Kentucky sales tax but may still have to pay sales tax in your home state. The only other exception to this sales tax rule is a valid state exemption for farm/agricultural use. We don't need a deposit but if we ship, it must be paid in full first. This machine comes with a clean title that is ready to transfer. It will also come with a bill of sale and proof of being lien free. You are welcome to inspect it as long and well as you like before finalizing the deal, but it is used and sells as-is. Canadian Bidders: We sell many bikes to Canada because it saves you a lot of money. We know the paperwork requirements and what it takes to get it done. However, it is very expensive to have a bike shipped from door to door due to customs broker fees. If you pick it up yourself or have it shipped to a border town and do your own border crossing you will save thousands vs buying in Canada. We also have a shipper we can direct you to who has many warehouses along the border where it can be shipped to and stored until you pick it up.
