Youtube video should be up soon with walkaround of bike - search for Honda XR250R Street Legal Titled in NC For Sale 5-9-2014 I've had this bike since 2003 (2002 model). It had the original knobbies, chain & sprockets until 2012. Ridden very little over its first 10years - always garage kept, oil changed, etc. About 2 years ago I decided to make it street legal as a project - yes it has a clean, NC Title with no mention of "for off road use only". It's been NC Inspected 2 years and has a tag/insurance on it now (Progressive Liability/theft is around $100 per YEAR. Next inspection is due in June 2014. I added a Baja Designs kit Item Number 121301RD (hi/low DOT headlight, horn, brake light, etc) ($500+ installation) and Street tires ($170) to the stock rims. It's had maybe 5hours of street riding since then. Thinking I may do some trail riding I just (5/9/14) put new front/rear Michelin DOT rated T63 tires on it ($160) to provide some on/off road capability. I went down a few teeth on the rear sprocket to make it more street-able but it's still fine for the dirt. I have the original sprocket and misc. parts plus the street only tires that go with the sale. Synthetic Mobil Racing 4T oil used, valves checked recently and are perfect. Carb was cleaned ($125) about 2yrs ago and it always starts 1st-2nd kick. Forks were reworked ($225) with new seals a few years ago due to slight weeping at the time. Totally stock exhaust so it's quiet. These can be uncorked to have quite a bit more power but I never had the need so left it stock. Note: the tank stickers are peeling off like they all do on these bikes. 2-3 rear spokes slightly bent since 2004 with no issues so I left them alone. Lastly - one (of the four) pinch bolts on the front axle broke today when putting the front wheel back on, $3 part ordered today so will have ready early next week. Common problem as well - 9ft-lb torque rating and they are weak for sure. Needs nothing else but a rider. No speedo / odometer thus mileage listed as "999". I just sold my son's Kawa Z1000 on ebay and helped the guy ship it from NC to FL. If you arrange / pay for it, I'll help ship it anywhere. Payment is cash upon pickup and we can have the title / bill of sale notarized at my bank or local UPS store if on weekend. Reason selling - impulse desire for a newer enduro bike. Pricing - two XR250's sold on ebay recently for $2100 and $2800 that were not street legal - cost of kit, extra tires, Title, inspection, etc. come with this one. 2004 Honda Cr85rb (expert/bigwheel) for sale. Contact me with any questions. Will come with BILL OF SALE ONLY. It sas clear title although i did not get it when i bought the bike. I purchased the bike blown up and went through the ENTIRE bike. Over $3000 invested in this restoration and build of this 85. I originally planned to keep it but i need money for college. This bike took 8 months to build, every piece was cleaned,inspected, and replaced as needed. This bike is very fast and will give any 150r a run for its money. The bike has a total of 8.6 hours on every part listed. This bike is LIKE NEW. Every seal and gasket on the entire bike is new. This bike runs and rides like it just came off the assembly line. However, I do still ride the bike every once in a while around my house. I only run Pro Honda HP trans oil and no toil air filter. Air filter is cleaned every ride, chain lubed/adjusted every ride, and oil the oil gets changed every 4 hrs. Also running only BP 92 pump gas mixed 32:1 with Belray H1-R Bike is VERY fast. *** 2006 KTM 950 SM - Super Moto *** ______________________________________________________________________ 800 Original miles. Bike is like new. Extremely Rare. Only a limited number were brought to the United States. It hurts me to even list this bike but I found a house I want to buy and need 20% down asap, so its either sell this or my new dirtbike. I have another streetbike for sale and if that sells first I am going to keep the KTM, so I have the right to end this listing at any time. This bike is showroom new with no visible wear anywhere. The bike has a $2300.00 aftermarket carbon fiber dual exhaust system that was installed by the dealer. The entire exhaust system was also sent out and ceramic coated. The bike sounds amazing and gets attention everywhere. The cdi was updated, the bike de-restricted, jetted and put on a dyno to tune all by the dealer. Aftermarket rear signals and a tail tuck kit. Bar end mirrors. All stock parts available. New battery for this year. The bike runs 100% perfect. With only 800 miles, everything is like new. The bike was in the dealer this summer for a 600 mile break-in checkup. The bike is way over 100hp, super light and a joy to ride. Will out run any sport bike in the turns and cruises with no effort on the highway. Very comfortable on the highway. The bike has been geared down slightly for my riding conditions. This is the twin 950 LC8 motor that has incredible power and is known to run to 50k with no problems. This bike was $13,000 new and has over $3500 of aftermarket parts on it.
