2005 Kawasaki KX125, Great Dirtbike for the kids!! - The Kawasaki KX125 competition motorcycle has enjoyed tremendous success on the racetracks of America, especially in the capable hands of racing phenom James Stewart. The Team Chevy Trucks Kawasaki racer dominated the 125 Eastern Region 2004 AMA THQ Supercross Series, winning every race he entered on his KX125. With this prestigious championship in hand ? and more victories to come ? the 2005 Kawasaki KX125 returns with refinements that promise to keep this two-stroke racer on the leading edge of power and performance. The KX125 is powered by a liquid-cooled, 124cc, two-stroke single-cylinder engine and features a Mikuni TMX38x carburetor and the Kawasaki Integrated PowerValve System (KIPS). KIPS varies the exhaust port height to broaden the useful rpm range for good low-end and mid-range power without sacrificing top end power. Transferring that broad range of power to the rear wheel is a six-speed transmission and chain final drive.

2005 Kawasaki KLX125, Great Dirtbike for the kids!! - With its easy-starting four-stroke engine, tractable powerband and low seat height, the Kawasaki KLX125 off-road motorcycle is perfect for youth riders and novice adult riders who want to further develop their riding skills. Powered by a torquey and responsive air-cooled 125cc four-stroke single, the KLX125 pumps out plenty of rider-friendly power for off-road fun. The engine is specially tuned for low and mid-range power, and a smooth shifting five-speed transmission means there's a gear for every riding situation. A cable-operated manual clutch, along with a digital CD ignition for quick starts, make this quiet-running motorcycle reliable and easy to operate. The KLX125 rides on a 17-inch front wheel and 14-inch rear wheel, while front and rear drum brakes provide ample stopping power and are low maintenance. A high-tensile steel frame with a rigid carbon-steel swingarm add to the machine's durability and lightweight handling characteristics, while bumps are soaked up by a long-travel front fork and linkage-equipped single-shock rear suspension system. The combination of a short wheelbase and a very comfortable riding position makes the KLX125 fun to ride on a variety of terrain. Inspired by Kawasaki's racy KX models, the fuel tank, slim seat and number plates give the bike an exciting look, while the classic lime green plastic gives it a true Kawasaki identity.
