For sale is a gently-used 2003 Yamaha YZ 250 F four-stroke dirt bike - I purchased this used in the spring of 2005 with approx. 25 hours on it & in the past decade have literally ridden it a handful of times for a total of 10-15 hours; stored in a garage or shed otherwise. With a hectic job & 2 kids, loved the idea of riding but could simply never find the time...now with 1 in college & lot of new expenses, it's time to pass this on to someone who can actually ride & enjoy it.Just cleaned out the carb, replaced the petcock & filled the tank with ethanol-free fuel, while also finally installing a number of parts I've accumulated over the years but never found the time to put on (since I could never even find the time to ride!) - this includes brand new Maxxis Maxx-IT Desert tires, new JT front/Superlite rear sprockets & RK o-ring chain, Yamaha OEM plastics, Yamaha GYT-R billet clutch perch & folding lever, Pro Taper grips, TM "factory edition" chain 'slide-n-glide' kit (inc. case saver), N-Style graphics (not yet installed) & carbon fiber-look airbox decals (also not yet installed).In addition, bike comes with Pro Taper 'Reed/Henry bend' handlebars, Twin-Air air filter, JD Jetting jet kit, Moose Racing fuel screw adjuster, billet aluminum carb bits (float bowl drain plug & hot start plunger holder), Lightspeed carbon fiber water pump cover, Yamaha GYT-R carbon fiber glide plate & frame guards, Moose Racing aluminum 'bark buster' hand guards (not installed), billet aluminum gas cap & factory Yamaha service manual...plus some other misc. items like extra spark plug, air filter cleaning kit (new & unopened), etc.

Hello, I have a 2005 YZ 250F, F stands for four stroke. Runs great, shifts great, does everything as it should. Only premium gas used. Just changed the oil, and cleaned the air filter. Air filter has always been cleaned after every ride. Had a lot of work done professionally by Epic Powersports in Traverse City, in June of 2015. I do have paper work on that. Total cost was about $2300. New piston, brakes, handlebars, grips, valves and a lot more. I'm selling this because I just had to get my car fixed, and that emptied me. 2nd owner. I have owned this bike for 7 years, bought it from original owner with 4800 mile on it. I drive from mission Viejo to Corona for work, so it 90% Frwy miles. The bike has never been laid down but has small scratches and tiny dent on gas tank from original owner. The bike has ALWAYS been stored inside. Recently had full tune-up, fluids, valve adjustment, replaced exhaust cables, carburetor cleaning and brakes. Tires have less then 1200 miles. I have changed the oil 3-4 times a year.
