2006 Kawasaki Ninja 250R with ONLY 9200 Miles! She has a few flaws but she runs great! The right side muffler has some scratches and the right side bodywork has a few small scratches. The left side middle fairing has a crack. Left handlebar is slightly bent. None of these affect the operation of the bike, they’re purely cosmetic. Carbs were thoroughly cleaned AND re-jetted and she got a new battery. All controls are fully functional and there’s plenty of tread left on the Dunlop Tires. This is a great bike for commuting, buzzing around town, riding the canyons and the coast or teaching someone to ride. It has a low seat height, is lightweight, and has easy to manage power. It’s a blast in the canyons! Registered until January 2015. Test rides with a valid motorcycle license and refundable cash deposit. Bring a helmet if you have one. Price is reflective of condition and low mileage. Cash only, no Nigerian scams. More pictures on request. From Motorcyclist Magazine: Sportbike chauvinists who insist there's no replacement for displacement have probably never enjoyed the massively entertaining experience of riding a small, light bike that corners like a rat in a sewer pipe and doesn't come alive until the tach needle swings into five-digit territory. Kawasaki's Ninja 250R is such a bike. Look beyond its teacup-size pistons and its unintimidating personality and you'll find the beating heart of a very small, very fierce lion—one that can also be a pussycat when necessary. The Ninja 250R reached American shores in 1986, parachuting into the heat of the battle raging among manufacturers to produce the quickest and fastest bikes available to the public. Its 248cc twin-cylinder engine had a dizzying 14,000-rpm redline, and although some riders complained about how long it took to get there, many simultaneously praised its civility while putting around town off the cams. Mid-15-second quarter-miles didn't raise any eyebrows nor did the prosaic damper-rod fork and Uni-Trak rear shock, but fuel economy to shame every car in 1986 (and most bikes) grabbed the attention of commuters. Kawasaki likes to get the most from its models, many of which have been in the lineup for decades, and the Ninjette is no exception. From 1988 to 2007 changes were minor, including smaller carbs, more ignition advance, higher compression, and final-drive gearing changes, all aimed at silencing the critics of the slow-revving engine by making it snappier. The stylists got their hands on the 250R too, clothing it in au courant sportbike bodywork that led many to mistake it for one of Kawasaki's larger sportbikes as it zipped by. The big changes came in 2008, with all-new bodywork, an engine retuned for more midrange, 17-inch wheels, and better suspension and brakes. Despite its single-minded sporty look, the 250R's personality isn't just split; it's fractured into several pieces. It's a standout in the bang-for-buck category as a club racer or trackday bike. Few other commuter bikes beat it for economy and style. The 250R even has modest touring chops. Toss a pair of soft bags over the seat, add a tank bag and a backpack, and you're sport-touring on the cheap. Or go nuts and hit the highway hard, like the rider on the 250 Ninja who bagged 12th place in the 2003 Iron Butt Rally, covering 11,186 miles in 11 days. You can't get much more hard core than that. True to their original intent, a lot of 250Rs start their lives under beginning riders, and some used ones tend to show the scars. Cosmetic damage to the bodywork is the most common manifestation, along with bent bars, footpegs, and levers. Surprisingly for an engine that routinely revs so high, there isn't much that goes wrong with it—at least not consistently. The inattention of the aforementioned rookies means you should ask about oil changes and valve-clearance checks and whether they were done on time and by whom; don't be shy about asking for proof in the form of receipts. On the flip side, keep an eye peeled for the subtle tip-offs that point to hard trackday use, like beveled footpegs, mismatched bodywork, safety-wire holes in hardware, scuff marks on the mufflers, and tech-inspection stickers on the windscreen. Cheers Runs like a hamster in a wheel, as much fun as some bikes three times its size. Dictionary definition of "pocket rocket." Jeers Too rev-happy for some riders, too displacement-challenged for others. Hard to earn street cred on a 250. Watch for Dead batteries, gunked-up carbs in beginner bikes that got parked after their owners moved on to some other pursuit. Verdict If riding a 250R doesn't make you break out in a grin, you're in the wrong sport. TERMS Please ask any questions before bidding, as all sales are final. Payment accepted through PayPal only. We’re pretty sure we enjoyed those years as well but no one here remembers how many bikes we sold. Up for sale is another Bexton Moto build. I wanted to build a bike that looked like the 1973 Nixon and Erv Kanemoto Kawasaki 750cc H2R and I decided to combine the build with my affinity for 300 Ninjas. So I set out to create a replica of the original bike as closely as I could using a 2014 Kawasaki EX300 Ninja (with ABS). This bike is the result. The 300 Ninja that I used as the base for this build came to me with only 54 miles on the clock, it now has about 400 miles on it. It was crashed, the sub frame was bent and all the fairings were destroyed. It has a salvage title as a result.I cut off the sub frame, straightened it out and modified it to suit the H2 replica seat. I stripped it down to the frame, made sure it was all dead straight and then powder coated it in flat black. The swing arm and all the brackets, of which there are more than 30 that are custom made, were also powder coated. This bike is very small and the clip-ons are quite low so if you are over 6 feet you will most likely be cramped riding it. I am 5’11 and it is a doable, but a tight fit for me. I have taken it on a ride of over an hour without any issues though.Below is the build list.2014 Kawasaki EX300 Ninja ABS2006 Kawasaki ZXR6 Forks, triple clamps and right brake caliper2005 Suzuki GSXR rear shockCopy of the original H2R seat in fiberglassModified Yamaha TZR250 race fairing upper and lower in fiberglassModified Kawasaki 300 Ninja gas tank with 18 gauge steel skirts welded onCustom sub frame to accommodate the narrow seatLED tail light and turn signal combinationKawasaki H2R replica front fender in fiberglassSingle headlight and led turn signals up frontYoshimura full race exhaustPower commanderK&N air filter inside stock air boxPaint is a replica of the original Gary Nixon bikeWheels were painted gold to match the upside down front fork and caliper Oil was changed at 300 miles with Castrol GTX 10w40 If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Bike is sold as is with no warranty stated or implied. Local pickup or shipping provided by buyer. I am willing to work with your chosen shipper. Payment strictly cash or by cashier’s check. Title is labeled as salvage but it is titled and inspected and ready to ride.

2006 Kawasaki Ninja 250R, I have for sale/trade a 2006 yellow Kawasaki Ninja 250R. It has a branded title due to cosmetic only damage which are shown in the pictures. I have the Oregon title in hand. Tags are good till 08/2015. Any and all trades will be considered, I'm mostly looking for a 50cc Scooter, cash, etc. The price is not set in stone. I bought the bike when it had 12,000 miles on it from Motorycle Wearhouse in Portland. I paid $1,400 for it. I have owned it since then. It now has about 19,800 miles on it. The bike has been mechanic owned and I will list all the work that has been done to it and what it needs. The bike had new tires and a new battery installed when I bought it at 12,000 miles. I've done oil changes every 1,000 miles, kept tire pressure correct, and done the following: *Carb was completely cleaned at 18,000 miles. * The original rear shock was replaced with a used one with supposedly 7,000 miles on it off Ebay at 14,xxx miles. As of now the used shock needs replacing again. Used ones are around $20 on eBay. *The bike was laid down at a low speed on the left side. The shifter pedal is slightly bent, but when I ride it seems to not effect shifting. *The speedometer cable came loose and is held in place with a ziptie in case it comes loose again. (Which it hasn't) *The tires should be replaced about now and in the pictures you can see the tread left. They are stock Shinko. They are on Amazon Prime for $58. *The biggest issue is the plastic shown in the picture that was cracked then sealed. *All fluids including oil, coolant, etc are in good levels. The brake pads have good life left. I drove the bike from Eugene to Baker City last weekend with no issues and got 65mpg. The bike is in perfect mechanical working order except from what I listed above. I will happily deliver the bike to most places in Oregon including Portland, etc. Thanks for looking! $1,000.00

2014 Suzuki DRZ400S M, 2014 Suzuki DRZ400SM The Suzuki DR-Z400SM is a street legal bike for serious dirt bike enthusiasts. It's not uncommon to take the SuperMoto down a twisty forest trail as well as a tight canyon corners. Its 398cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke engine provides strong low-rpm torque and crisp throttle response for any of these occasions. They key difference from the DR-Z400SM and the DR-Z400S is the inverted forks. Inverted front forks contribute to less unsprung weight and improved overall handling. Features May Include: Suzuki's Supermotard model based on DR-Z400S - combines Supermotard style and features in a narrow, lightweight street-legal package. Automatic decompression system for quick/easy engine starts. Compact 4-valve cylinder head with 36mm intake valves, 29mm exhaust valves, narrow 28-degree included valve angle and shim-under-bucket valve adjustment system. Electric start with lightweight starter motor and a compact 6.5 amp maintenance-free battery. Forged aluminum piston is 10 percent lighter than a cast piston and receives additional oil-cooling to the piston crown through a crankcase oil jet. Lightweight 398cc, DOHC, liquid-cooled, dry-sump engine produces strong, tractable low-rpm power. SCEM-plated cylinder (nickel-silicon-phosphorous) is lighter and more durable than an iron liner with excellent heat transfer properties. Smooth throttle response with a Mikuni BSR36 CV-type carburetor fed by 6-liter airbox. The left side cover has quick-release fasteners for easy access to the air filter. Thermostatically controlled cooling fan mounted to the left radiator helps maintain consistent operating temperature in traffic. Additional weight savings with magnesium valve cover, clutch cover, and magneto cover. Compact 5-speed transmission utilizes a cable-operated clutch with separate outer cover for simplified clutch maintenance. A fully adjustable rear shock absorber with high/low speed compression damping adjuster and aluminum swingarm for precise rear wheel control. A bolt-on aluminum subframe helps reduce weight and simplify maintenance. RK Excel aluminum rims and radial tires: 120/70-R17 front, 140/70- R17 rear. 2006 Kawasaki Ninja 500R, Have a 2006 Kawasaki Ninja 500r. Perfect beginner bike that you wont outgrow so fast like you will a 250 or 300cc bike. Bought her end of last season with 1999 miles on her and have about 7k miles now. Runs 100% mint...no issues. Has delkevic DS70 dual carbon fiber slip ons($450), tinted zero gravity sport touring windscreen, competition workes fender eliminator, led headlight bulb/kit from cyclegear. There is no other 500 that sounds like this bike! It sounds insane with these pipes on. It was recently dropped low speed and now has a small crack next to the front right turn signal. Right front turn signal snapped off but I have brand new carbon fiber turn signals that I never got a chance to install but will include. As you can see in pics, the Paint is MINT. Shines very nice. KAWASAKI KLX™250 JOINS 2006 MODEL LINE-UP AND HELPS CREATE A ONE-TWO PUNCH FOR KAWASAKI DEALERS Street legal model with electric start makes debut in Kawasaki showrooms. It may be dressed in the same Kawasaki Lime Green as its sibling KLX300R off-road speedster, but the all-new KLX250 with electric start finds itself equally at home on the pavement as it will when the riding terrain calls for enduro-like performance. Aggressively styled in the same manner as Kawasaki’s KX™ motocross equipment, the KLX250 features a lightweight engine with a wide powerband, and a lightweight, high-tensile steel perimeter frame. Powering this new entry in the Kawasaki stable is a compact, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine displacing 249cc. With bore and stroke measuring 72 x 61.2 mm, the engine is mounted towards the bottom of the perimeter frame, helping to deliver a low center of gravity. The engine’s dual overhead cams activate four valves atop an electrofusion-coated aluminum cylinder that provides the KLX250 power plant with extra strength and reliability. The design of the cylinder head provides maximum valve area for optimum flow, and a low reciprocating weight contributes to higher efficiency at high rpm readings. Riders headed out for a long trip will appreciate the gear-driven engine balancer, which helps eliminate engine vibration to deliver greater rider comfort and less fatigue. When getting off the pavement calls for extra protection, the KLX250’s aluminum engine guard shields the crankcase from rocks and stones so prevalent when riding on gravel or dirt roads. With today’s fuel prices, even motorcyclists want to pay attention to gasoline consumption. A Keihin 34mm semi-flat slide CVK carburetor equipped with a Throttle Position Sensor delivers the optimum amount of fuel required under all riding conditions, contributing to improved responsiveness and power, as well as increased fuel economy. Motorcyclists will notice the 26.5° caster angle and short wheelbase which contribute to quick handling response, while the frame rigidity helps straight-line stability. The Uni-Trak® rear suspension provides superb road-holding ability and bump absorption and the 43mm inverted cartridge-style front fork comes with a 16-way compression damping adjustment. Stopping the powerful KLX250 is handled by front and rear disc brakes. A twin-piston caliper grips a 250mm semi-floating disc up front, while a single piston caliper operates the 220mm rear disc. Among the other key features of the new KLX250: Flat-top piston and pentroof combustion chamber deliver an 11:1 compression ratio. Lightweight piston, piston pin and connecting rod allow power-producing revs. Starting the KLX250 is simplified through the use of an electric starter and Kawasaki Automatic Compression Release (KACR), whic

Just two short years after it was introduced to American motocross racers, the championship-winning KX™250F motorcycle has been revamped – even though it already has five titles under its proverbial belt. Numerous changes have been made to the potent KX250F. It produces significantly more power than the 2005 model it replaces, and like the new flagship KX450F, the KX250F sports an all-aluminum perimeter frame. The 249cc, liquid-cooled, four-stroke engine now gives the KX250F a harder-hitting powerband, especially from mid- to high-rpm, and it extends that smooth, traction-grabbing power into the over-rev range. Additional enhancements include revised intake and exhaust ports, and a revised combustion chamber for stronger low- to mid-rpm performance, while new cam profiles and a higher 13.5:1 compression ratio improve high-rpm performance. To compensate for the increased output, the piston now has a thicker crown. Other engine modifications include stiffer valve springs to help ensure reliable valve control at high rpm; a surface-hardened crankshaft for additional rigidity; more efficient oil pumps that increase oil flow by nearly 20 percent; a new stick ignition coil that reduces overall weight; and newly designed, high-capacity Denso radiators that deliver superior cooling performance due to their more tightly packed cores and new fin design. Kawasaki also revised the timing and lift of the decompression system, so starting the KX250F is even easier. The clutch and five-speed transmission have also been modified to include new friction plate material and stiffer clutch springs for improved clutch feel, and the gears have beefier dogs to match the more-powerful engine. Kawasaki engineers have also given the KX250F shift drum a new cam to improve shifting feel. The most visible change to the KX250F is the aluminum perimeter frame. As with the KX450F, Kawasaki engineers combined their experience designing steel perimeter KX frames and techniques used to construct the Ninja® ZX™-10R sport bike chassis to create an all-new aluminum perimeter frame. Comprised of forged, extruded and cast aluminum parts, the strong but light design gives the KX250F the best possible balance of torsional and longitudinal rigidity necessary for superior handling characteristics. The frame was designed so that the center of gravity and key chassis dimensions would work together to enhance the rear tire’s ability to drive the KX250F forward instead of squatting under acceleration. Additionally, the four-stroke engine sits in an upright position within the new frame to further aid overall traction. The slim profile of the KX250F frame, two-piece radiator shrouds that leave the upper frame spars exposed, and careful design of the remaining bodywork make the KX250F feel light and narrow beneath the rider. The KX250F’s
