CUSTOM STAGE 1 KATANA 600!! Up for sale is my 2006 Suzuki Katana 600 Custom. This is a daily riding to and from work consisting of approximately 65 miles round trip. Everything is in great working condition on this bike as i take extreme pride in having it. Things about this bike, Custom Paint: Painted by a local certified body shop, and my crazy paint idea, this bike starts off with two coats of 2008 subaru wrx obsidian black pearl base coat paint, then added on top of that was another two layers of a prism metallic flake mixed in with the clear then wet sanded, then on top of that was another 7 layers of a high gloss clear coat which was then wet sanded again and polished out to a flawless shine. This bike is one of the hardest bikes to photograph, depending on where you are standing the metal flake just shines and at night it has one of the craziest looks to it. This bike does get hundreds of compliments on how crazy the paint is. Stage 1 kit: This bike has a full stage one kit which includes a size larger jet kit then what the factory had, a custom air filter from suzuki and added to that was a two brothers slip on exhaust. All the mechanical work was done either by a local suzuki dealer or by a local very well known motorcycle repair facility. Both the dealer and bike shop have agreed that this Katana is one of the best running motorcycles they have seen and ridden. The throttle response is crisp and the exhaust adds just enough sound but not over the top obnoxious, remember this bike is ridden almost every day so picking the right exhaust was critical. The Stage 1 kit has been on the bike for about 2 years now so i cant assure you how this bike runs and its incredible. During this time, the carbs were completely rebuild and re gasket with all suzuki factory parts. All work was done either by the dealer or the bike shop, ALL PARTS USED ON THIS BIKE WERE SUZUKI FACTORY PARTS!!!! THERE ARE NO AFTERMARKET PARTS ON THIS BIKE. beginning of the 2015 season, this bike received a complete over haul and tune up. New spark plugs, all new fluids, brand new michelin tires were installed as well as a new battery. This bike does have a rear swing arm mounted license plate bracket and the rear factory brake light and turn signal set up has been swapped put for a fiberglass under panel that has two led lights that consist of brake lights with the integrated turn amber turn signals. Just cleaned up the rear of the bike instead of the bulky factory set up, this was also completely painted to match the bike.
