For sale i have a Honda 2006 CRF450R. This bike has been COMPLETELY gone through top to bottom, preparing it to be race ready. All work was done by our local MP Racing shop and have the paper work with it. Machining was done by Fast heads in Utah. Here is what is done to the bike: Motor: - Brand New OEM Honda Engine Cases, both left and right. - New OEM Honda bearings (all bearings inside cases) - New Hot Rods crank with a Upgraded Rod supplied by Hot Rods - Upgraded Transmission gears (first set of OEM Honda gears could not handle the displacement.) - New Tusk Heavy duty clutch, plates, springs, etc. -New Outer and Inner OEM Honda Clutch baskets. - Cylinder works 488CC Big bore Cylinder - CP Forged piston 12:5:1 compression. - Titanium header pipe along with a Titanium and Stainless Akrapovic M4 Muffler. -Keihin Carb with a Custom Boyesen Quickshot bottom Carb (injects fuel into the cylinder everytime the throttle is moved, allows quick throttle response). DynoJet had to make a custom size jet for my application to allow the perfect tune. Cylinder Head and Cams: Here is where this bike is extremely special. The cylinder head had a full race port job done. After that it was sent to Fastheads where they machined in Beryllium valve seats (if you don't know about these, they last a extremely long time and can handle much higher rpms). Heavy duty Web Cams valve springs where installed with Ferrea Titanium valves (best of the best). The OEM cam was re-machined based on the flow chart of the cylinder head by Fastheads, to assure maximum air and fuel flow. Cylinder was Decked and Cylinder Head was milled for proper head gasket seal, also allowing a little bit more compression. Chassis: -The Showa forks where rebuilt and set up for a 190lbs. rider -Rear Showa shock was also rebuilt. -New bearings front and rear, along with new brake pads. - New Pro Taper sprocket and D.I.D chain - Pro Taper Woods Fatty Handle bars with there custom mounts. -Tusk Case saver modified to work with factory chain guard. -Brand new Dunlop front tire, and 90% tread left on rear tire. I am sure i am missing some stuff. The graphics on the bike are one industries and where applied later in its life. The Black plastics are OEM Honda and came with the bike from the factory. Bike was always stored inside, so if you want to remove the graphics, there will be no fade. I run 110 octane in the bike right now, but you can run a mixed version or 93 which is pushing it. Bike has less than a hour of ride time and that time was just the break in procedure (done correctly with heat cycles). Race ready bike, lots of money invested, but i have to part ways because i cannot ride anymore. Comes with bill of sale, I am in contact with previous owner who lost the title. What you need to know: This Honda CRF450X was purchased brand new in April 2008. This motorcycle has never been crashed / wrecked / damaged in ANY way ( except for some very minor scratches from tree branches ). Radiators are straight and true. Rims are scratch free. As a matter of fact, this dirt bike has never really been " dirty ". The kick starter has been used once . After decades of kick starting my bikes, electric start is a luxury addition that you miss when you jump on a 450 four stroke that does not have it. ( and a kick stand! ). On a motocross track you just pull into the pits, out in the woods you learn to stop next to a tree without the tripod. Needless to say, this engine starts instantly and runs flawlessly. Only the finest Honda oil ( HP4 & HP ) has been used for engine and transmission use. Oil changed every year despite usage. Oil is cheap compared to engines. As Indy said to Marion in Raiders of the Lost Ark, " It's not the years, it's the MILEAGE ". And this Honda has rolled VERY few. Less then three hours of use. The odometer reads 35.7 and has never been reset. What is not to love here. This is a premier, top of the line, electric start 450 brute that has fans all over the world. I can give you links to numerous magazine articles and tests that tell the story of this amazing Honda. It is a big comfy battle wagon that can blast an ear to ear grin on your face real fast. IF you have the skill set, you could take this bike and go win a regional Hare Scramble or Enduro next weekend. This bike has the goods. It is one of the only off-road bikes that Dirt Bike Magazine editors say you can ride right out of the box with no modifications necessary. Box stock it is a very capable off road mount. Hand guards can be installed before delivery if needed. Look at the pictures. Check out the pristine driveline, DID O-Ring chain with no master link, you have probably never seen a chain this clean on a used bike. Zero dirt / rust / well lubed with aerospace lubricant ( Dupont Krytox, it was even used on the Lunar Rover ). This chain has never had to be adjusted. Brakes, the OEM pads have next to zero wear. 1) One owner, all original, extremely low hours, extremely well cared for. New battery installed with battery charger pigtail to make it easy to hook up your battery charger between rides. Fuel tank and carb were drained regularly to prevent " bad gas " problems. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Words to live by with dirt bikes. Coolant recently flushed and replaced. Front and rear brake systems flushed and bled. Engine / Transmission / oil changed plus filter for engine. Spokes were all checked, tire pressure set. ( These are little things, but most sellers are just ready to get rid of their bike and rarely think of the new owner. And as the new owner, you do not want to spend money or time to repair / adjust / tune up your new bike, you want to start riding! 2) Peace of Mind: Certificate of Origin not only proves provenance, you know it is not stolen. But ALSO, if you live in a TITLE state such as Florida, with this document you will have zero problems obtaining documentation to legally ride on state lands. Having this document adds value, and will continue to add value when and if the new owner ever sells. Also you are getting the Honda Factory Service Manual and the separate Owners Manual. 3) The condition of the bike. Pictures do not do this baby justice, but I believe a potential buyer can see that this is an EXCEPTIONAL Honda that has been babied and barely ridden. This is just short of buying a brand new bike, if you can live with some minor scratches from tree branches you will save thousands of dollars. 4) Honda has not changed this model. My 2006 is 99% identical to a 2015. So you are not buying an outdated motorcycle, it is the SAME one Honda is still selling as a 2015. Honda CRF450R-2006 Hr meter recorded- around (LESS) than 112 hrs on bike Maintaince on this bike was probably over kll by most people, but I wanted the best out of the bike and wanted it taken care of, it has only been summer ridin, indoor keptin the winter, bearing were grease regularly and replaced bearing recently wheels and steering stem, most parts replaced were genuin Honda parts,and honda oil in motor and trans. air filter cleaned every time ridin' and motor and trans. every 3 rides, This bike I used only to race local motocross races ONLY (last ride Nov.13,2016) and very few practice days, on race day practiced 1 to 2 times and 2 classes 40 and 50 vet classes probably 1 hr on a givin Sunday. Never trail ridin. Fresh gas everytime ridin' Sunoco ultra only used. One owner, vet riding (meaning i was 47 when I bought it 10 yrs ago) and regular mantainance done,many extra parts as shown, and many extra's on bike, all maintance recorded and reciept for parts and work done such as shock oil, valves,report will go with the bike, and shop manuals. have all old parts to give with the bike, List on some stuff done, reciept have more info--- stainless oil filter, white bros exhaust and jet and needle adjustment ( give the bike alot more top end), new steel valve replacement, top end replace 3 times at regular maintains hrs required, the outter clutch basket was replaced as honda had a issue with it being to soft and it pitted early, they updated this part and I put it in it has done very well, as the clutch plate kit has been replaced twice, chain and sprockets and brake pads replaced regularly, front forks maint. alot oil change,fork seals replaced once,slider bushings replaced (parts didn't need replaced I just did), Forks have .49 springs and shock has 5.8 spring, rear shock was revalved by FCR, pro action and regular oil changes, new back tire now with 3 rides front tire good (actually a excellent front tire). It has a factory connection hr meter on it with the hrs I put on it since it has been on, the first meter had 46 hrs. on it when i got the new one, has a hole shot device,factory connection skid plate and radiator braces,IMS foot Pegs,and more the reciepts show stuff done. I originally rode this bike around the local dirt roads and decided to put a license plate on it in 2012 which was the last year that I actually used it. It has very few road miles on it as I had my license revoked shortly after getting it plated and thus lost my WA motorcycle endorsement. When I put the Baja Designs Dual Sport Conversion kit on it, I also rebuilt the top-end and added Kibblewhite Stainless intake valves and titanium R&D valve springs. I replaced the original OEM stock piston with a new OEM stock piston to keep it pump-gas friendly. The cylinder was properly honed to insure a perfect ring seat. The new Tokyo Mods carb was assembled by Tokyo Mods to work with this specific build to run on pump-gas. Much thought has been put into every detail of this bike. I have meticulously cared for this bike its entire life. It has always been in my heated garage. I wish I would have put the Tokyo Mods carb on it sooner because it runs perfectly. I could not run any better. Much better than the JD jet kit and accelerator pump mods I did originally. ... ... ... This bike has many top quality upgrades and lots of extras.
