2006 Kawasaki Ninja 250R with ONLY 9200 Miles! She has a few flaws but she runs great! The right side muffler has some scratches and the right side bodywork has a few small scratches. The left side middle fairing has a crack. Left handlebar is slightly bent. None of these affect the operation of the bike, they’re purely cosmetic. Carbs were thoroughly cleaned AND re-jetted and she got a new battery. All controls are fully functional and there’s plenty of tread left on the Dunlop Tires. This is a great bike for commuting, buzzing around town, riding the canyons and the coast or teaching someone to ride. It has a low seat height, is lightweight, and has easy to manage power. It’s a blast in the canyons! Registered until January 2015. Test rides with a valid motorcycle license and refundable cash deposit. Bring a helmet if you have one. Price is reflective of condition and low mileage. Cash only, no Nigerian scams. More pictures on request. From Motorcyclist Magazine: Sportbike chauvinists who insist there's no replacement for displacement have probably never enjoyed the massively entertaining experience of riding a small, light bike that corners like a rat in a sewer pipe and doesn't come alive until the tach needle swings into five-digit territory. Kawasaki's Ninja 250R is such a bike. Look beyond its teacup-size pistons and its unintimidating personality and you'll find the beating heart of a very small, very fierce lion—one that can also be a pussycat when necessary. The Ninja 250R reached American shores in 1986, parachuting into the heat of the battle raging among manufacturers to produce the quickest and fastest bikes available to the public. Its 248cc twin-cylinder engine had a dizzying 14,000-rpm redline, and although some riders complained about how long it took to get there, many simultaneously praised its civility while putting around town off the cams. Mid-15-second quarter-miles didn't raise any eyebrows nor did the prosaic damper-rod fork and Uni-Trak rear shock, but fuel economy to shame every car in 1986 (and most bikes) grabbed the attention of commuters. Kawasaki likes to get the most from its models, many of which have been in the lineup for decades, and the Ninjette is no exception. From 1988 to 2007 changes were minor, including smaller carbs, more ignition advance, higher compression, and final-drive gearing changes, all aimed at silencing the critics of the slow-revving engine by making it snappier. The stylists got their hands on the 250R too, clothing it in au courant sportbike bodywork that led many to mistake it for one of Kawasaki's larger sportbikes as it zipped by. The big changes came in 2008, with all-new bodywork, an engine retuned for more midrange, 17-inch wheels, and better suspension and brakes. Despite its single-minded sporty look, the 250R's personality isn't just split; it's fractured into several pieces. It's a standout in the bang-for-buck category as a club racer or trackday bike. Few other commuter bikes beat it for economy and style. The 250R even has modest touring chops. Toss a pair of soft bags over the seat, add a tank bag and a backpack, and you're sport-touring on the cheap. Or go nuts and hit the highway hard, like the rider on the 250 Ninja who bagged 12th place in the 2003 Iron Butt Rally, covering 11,186 miles in 11 days. You can't get much more hard core than that. True to their original intent, a lot of 250Rs start their lives under beginning riders, and some used ones tend to show the scars. Cosmetic damage to the bodywork is the most common manifestation, along with bent bars, footpegs, and levers. Surprisingly for an engine that routinely revs so high, there isn't much that goes wrong with it—at least not consistently. The inattention of the aforementioned rookies means you should ask about oil changes and valve-clearance checks and whether they were done on time and by whom; don't be shy about asking for proof in the form of receipts. On the flip side, keep an eye peeled for the subtle tip-offs that point to hard trackday use, like beveled footpegs, mismatched bodywork, safety-wire holes in hardware, scuff marks on the mufflers, and tech-inspection stickers on the windscreen. Cheers Runs like a hamster in a wheel, as much fun as some bikes three times its size. Dictionary definition of "pocket rocket." Jeers Too rev-happy for some riders, too displacement-challenged for others. Hard to earn street cred on a 250. Watch for Dead batteries, gunked-up carbs in beginner bikes that got parked after their owners moved on to some other pursuit. Verdict If riding a 250R doesn't make you break out in a grin, you're in the wrong sport. TERMS Please ask any questions before bidding, as all sales are final. Payment accepted through PayPal only. 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250R This listing is for my 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250R motorcycle. It has a clear title, has been garage kept, it's clean, and is in excellent condition for it's age. It would make a nice starter bike or would be ideal for a student commuting short distances to class. I don't ride it much anymore so I'm selling it. It has 17,000 miles on it, custom fairings, an upgraded "Demon Eyes" headlight kit installed, adjustable levers, reupholstered seats, accented handlebar grips, a new rear tire, new chain, and a K&N air filter. I'm not opposed to reasonable purchase price offers but I will not trade it for something else or take payments. I have spent a lot of time and money maintaining and upgrading this bike. Thanks for looking!

I have a 2008 Ninja 250R, red in color. It has the usual wear that a beginner motorcycle would have - several scrapes on the fairings, ect. Nothing major and there are no cracks or anything to that extent. The right side front turn signal is falling off - it can either be replaced or taped back into position. It is missing the side panels as seen in the photos, these can be bought off from eBay cheaply. The tires have good tread on them and the brakes work perfectly. Bike starts right up and shifts perfectly. I took a video of it standing still, but I can't record and ride it at the same time. I tried to document everything I could with the photos. If you have any questions, please contact me and I'll be happy to answer them or if you would like specific photos, I'll be happy to do that also.

(415) 639-9435 ext.432 In 2008, Kawasaki gave the EX250 its most thorough modernization in many years. The EX250-J model is known as the Ninja 250R worldwide, regardless of market. Parts from the third generation are still found on the -J, but its redesigned exterior panels bring the Ninja's appearance into line with late-2000s sportbikes. The engine and drivetrain retain 30% of the -F model's parts, according to Kawasaki. The engine's compression and maximum torque have been lowered to provide better midrange performance. The redesign of the engine resulted in improvements in engine response at low engine speeds, and making the bike smoother and much easier to ride. The wheels were increased in size to 17 inches, the front suspension was improved, and the brake rotors were replaced with a larger petal shape. A fuel gauge was added in place of the temperature gauge. - Dealer inspection, This Kawasaki is in Excellent overall exterior condition - Tachometer, Disc Brakes - Contact SF Moto at 415-255-3132 or [email removed] for more information. - A little bit about us, SF Moto is a locally owned shop catering to first time scooter & motorcycle buyers. Over $2K in Extras!I've got the bike exactly where I want it but my Uncle Sam (I'm active duty US Air Force) wants me to move to South Korea so here she is. I don't leave until August, but my wife *asked politely* that I not put this off until the last minute.Perfect for the street, even better for track days.Handles unlike a stock ninja, which are sprung for 110lb riders, the suspension is set up for a 180lb rider. Thanks to the exhaust and carb tuning, it also makes a bit more power than a stock ninja (it's still a 250) -- see Tyga's dyno sheet for where it makes the extra power.I have a truck and ramp and could transport the bike and spares.Previous owner laid it on its side (in a driveway) but you can see in the pictures I've properly fixed the crack in the fairing.
