This is a clean example of a Suzuki V Strom, DL 1000. It was bought new in 2009 by it current owner. It has 2558 miles on it. The intensions of its owner was to ride everywhere on it, and wear it out. Life happened and that did not happen. Selling my 2009 Suzuki DL650 V-Strom, I bought the bike used so....not the original owner. I bought it with just 1950 miles on it. The bike is very low mileage for a 2009 (less than 3600 on May 29 2015) and is exceptionally clean with no repairs needed. There is one small touch up on the right side of the fuel tank but you must be close to even see it. The bike has many extra items to improve the look, ride and safety. The bike has Rox Speed FX handlebar riser (est value $80) for a more comfortable riding position. PIAA safely fog lamps (est value $300) have been added for visibility (seeing and being seen). These lights are mounted on SW Motech engine guards (est value $225). Additional LED lights have been installed on the back of the bike to help prevent accidents. I have a Givi travel case mounted on the bike for storage and it can be easily removed. This bike is "like new" condition. I average 52 MPG with 87 octane fuel, and it runs great on this fuel. I do have an upgraded gel seat seat that may be purchased with the bike for an additional $250 but is NOT included in the price (est value new $400). I love the bike but there are others I want to own as well so time for someone else to enjoy this one as I did. Yep, my asking price is a few dollars above book value but I have about $1000 in extra add on items and it's very clean and I have not rode it hard while keeping it maintained. Priced firm at $5,700.
