2010 KTM 300. I built this to be the Worlds Lightest Dual Sport Bike less than 199 lbs. $15,000 in modifications. Only 69 hours and 1,400 miles. Titanium Parts include - springs, 1 off FMF exhaust pipe, pegs. Carbon Fiber Parts include - tank, rear frame, skid plate, fork guards, pipe guard. Street legal, license plate, LED turn signals, head light and LED tail light, complete wiring harness from 450 exc. Large desert tank and carbon tank. Engine is stock except for rekluse clutch. Light weight Chain, 2 sprockets, Moto Z tires, vibrationdampers on bars, grip heaters, Q Stealth FMF Silencer, custom brush guards, low profile seat. Too much stuff added I can't remember all of it. I built it 7 years ago with an unlimited budget no expense was spared. One owner. This is the lightest dual sport bike on earth. Have most original parts. The starter and battery have been removed to reduce weight. I have all the starter parts except the starter motor. Starts in one kick. It's so light and nimble it feels like a trials bike or bicycle. Great for single track or just doing whatever. I use to blow off all my 4 stroke buddies with their fat 250 lb. and 275 lb. pig bikes. You will not believe it until you ride it. Currently set up for 160 lb rider. On the starter I have the side case, plastic cover, the gear and some nuts and bolts. I do not have the starter motor. I also have the original rear section with battery box that was replaced with carbon fiber and the battery can be mounted in the carbon fiber rear section. It was last registered in California in 2012. There will be fees due to bring it current or register it in another state.

The unrivalled power-to-weight ratio of the lightweight 2-stroke engine makes it a true contender against the more complex 4-strokes. For MY 2016 the 300 XC features detail improvements and new colors and graphics, but basically retains the same chassis and engine specification as MY 2015. Features May Include: ENGINE The powerful KTM 300 SX engine unites an unbeatable power-to-weight ratio with outstanding performance and extremely easy handling. CYLINDER The cylinder of the 300 XC is fitted with a sophisticated TVC (Twin Valve Control) power valve, providing adjustable power characteristics. The power character can be changed within a few seconds thanks to two supplied springs for different tracks and rider preference. CLUTCH The KTM DDS (Damped Diaphragm Steel) clutch is fitted with a diaphragm spring, which allows implementation of an internal rubber damping system. Together with a lightweight steel basket and the Brembo hydraulic system the DDS clutch offers maximum reliability, excellent modulation and light lever pull. LINKAGE/SHOCKABSORBER The linkage system of the 300 XC features a progressive curve with a high initial rate ensuring good stability. The high-end WP 5018 shock absorber guarantees outstanding response and damping characteristics. Compression and rebound damping can be adjusted to the track conditions and the rider's preferences. HANDLEBAR The 300 XC is equipped with a tapered handlebar made of high-strength aluminum by NEKEN, which is fixed in a new rubber damped handlebar clamp allowing the handlebar to be mounted in two different positions. A new, larger handlebar pad protects the rider in case of a crash. AIRBOX At the same time, the design of the airbox guarantees optimum protection of the air filter from dirt plus maximum airflow for the highest performance. Quick replacement of the Twin Air filter, without tools and in a matter of seconds, has long been an unrivalled KTM standard. BRAKES High-tech Brembo brakes have always been standard equipment on KTM off-road bikes, and now are combined with newly designed and weight-reduced Wave discs made by GALFER featuring improved heat resistance. Weight reduction is 63g on the front disc, and 32 g for the rear. This is the ultimate solution in braking technology. WHEELS The 300 XC is fitted with lightweight, CNC-machined hubs, high-end Giant rims and black spokes with lightweight aluminum nipples providing maximum stability at minimum weight. No surprises here, with the combination of 450-cl*** muscle and the agility of a 250. Who said you can t have everything? Features may include: 99.8 KG The main target for the KTM engineers when developing the SX models was a m***ive weight reduction compared to the previous generation. The result: the current SX-F models are the slimmest, lightest bikes on the track. Even though the 4-strokes are equipped with an electric starter as a standard feature, while the competition still needs to be kick started, the SX-F line weigh in pounds less. Rather than kicking to start - you can focus on kicking ***. AIRBOX The airbox design offers maximum protection of the air filter while ensuring maximum airflow. The large twin-air filter is mounted in a stiff cage, which at the same time holds the system in place. This design is so simple, you could still pop a fresh one in with a face full of mud. Without tools. In seconds. FRAME The high-tech, lightweight chrome-moly steel frame is engineered for excellent handling, precise cornering and supreme stability. You can also count on high torsional rigidity and low longitudinal stiffness for better absorption of the energy created by the front and rear suspension sucking up jumps and bumps. In short: more comfort and less rider fatigue. Laterally attached, lightweight engine head stays contribute to a reduced vibration level. Two threaded inserts in the lower cradle tubes allow for an optional skid plate. The engineers were able to pull off all that, while making the frame two pounds lighter than that of the lightest competitor on the market. In addition, the frame is easier to maintain, easier to work on and supplies more space for the tank and other components. The bike also features an extra-light aluminum subframe, which weighs in at less than 2 pounds. FOOTPEGS Sophisticated ´No Dirt´ footpegs prevent clogging of the footpeg pivot, even when digging in deep ruts. Looking for a higher riding position? Then just mount the footpegs of the MY2017 EXC models, which are 6mm higher than the SX versions. BRAKES You can t brake any harder, better, faster or stronger.
