Normal 0 Normal 0 What you have here is a special item. It’s a 2002 KX-250 2-stroke. It has been COMPLETELY restored from the ground up. OEM parts only, whenever possible. To begin, this is NOT a $2100 craigslist special, that you’ll have to spend another grand on to make it right. This is a 100% ready to ride, like new machine. It has not seen service since 2010, which is when I did this restore. (it was stored indoors, with no coolant or fuel). The engine has an unused Vertex top end with OEM gaskets. (This engine has NEVER seen pump gas!) Moto-Tassanari 12 pedal reed block. ALL bearings in motor and transmission are OEM new. 2nd and 3rd gear, drive and driven, were replaced, just because, while I was in there.(I’ve been a factory trained Kawasaki tech for most of my life). The frame is low hour perfect, with no cracks or welds, powder coated to emulate the factory green. ALL plastic is original, OEM take-off, stored from day 1. Factory new, unused air box with new, oiled Twin-air filter, new OEM seat. EVERY suspension bearing, seal and collar is OEM new, greased and unused. The front suspension is 2007 YZ KYB closed-cartridge with .46kg Factory springs. The shock is OEM, with much love. Titanium 5.5kg. spring with factory KYB bottom-out system. The extra wheels are in near perfect condition, with like rotors and sprocket. The chain and sprockets are new. The extra pipe, and the one on it, are NEW. There’s more, but you get the idea by now. I have many other OEM parts that I may be willing to part with. The bike I ride, is an exact double of this one. This bike is as close to NEW as you will ever find. To be clear, this bike needs NOTHING, you need to see it in person to really understand. I’m getting to the point of not riding anymore so, it’s time to let someone else enjoy it. Thanks for looking.
