2012 Husqvarna Te 250 LOW model, Heavy upgraded Husky TE250 with only 838 miles! If you are 5'10" or under this is a great bike for you. Husky shipped this model from the factory with a seat height 2" lower giving shorter or new riders a perfectly sized bike. This bike can also be converted back to standard height when and if you are ready( please confirm that yourself with a dealer if it is what you want to do). Upgrades are: Engine: The stock Fuel Injector and ECU have been replaced with the 12 port Injector and ECU from the TXC model, making this engine run MUCH better than stock with a huge increase in horsepower. Leo Vince Exhaust has been uncorked and a K&N filter replaces the stock set up. Cost about $550 installed. Chassis/ Suspension: Scott Steering Damper, which are about $650 installed. A 47 tooth spocket replaces stock for more torque. Protection Upgrades: Skid Plate- by UpTite Racing . UniBiker radiator guards. Cycra Bike Busters. About $400 uninstalled. Michelin Cross Competion Tires, perfect for California hard pack with only 90 miles on them. Price includes two different Moose Racing Fender packs. With these upgrades it is perfectly set up for enduro and desert riding, and the bike also holds its own on a track with engine upgrades. This is a dirt bike with lights. I have all the stock parts if you want to reinstall the blinkers, mirrors, and license plate frame. I also just replaced the battery. 2017 Husqvarna TC 250, 2017 Husqvarna® TC 250 HIGH INTENSITY THRILLS Completely new for MY 17, the TC 250 portrays the constant development and secure future of the historic 250cc 2-stroke in the Husqvarna line-up. With a newly designed chassis, the TC 250 sees a significant reduction in weight with increased agility and rider comfort. Additionally, the lightweight 2-stroke engine is completely redesigned and features increased efficiency, more centralised masses as well as a substantial reduction in vibration. Features may include: New engine The 250cc 2-stroke engine is the ultimate combination of unsurpassed power and lightweight construction. The simplicity and low maintenance cost of the 2-stroke motor makes it a favourite amongst motocross riders. The new TC 250 engine has a completely new construction featuring a new shaft arrangements for better mass centralisation, a new counter balancer shaft reducing vibration, a new twin-valve controlled power valve and re-worked 5-speed gearbox. New cylinder The 66.4mm bore cylinder features a newly developed power valve system which delivers smooth and controlled power throughout the RPM range. This can be further customised by simply changing two springs supplied and altering the power delivery for different track conditions or rider preference. The new cylinder and cylinder head incorporate a new water jacket design which guarantees better heat dissipation and improved cooling under the most extreme conditions. New cylinder head mountings secure the engine to the frame while also reducing vibrations for a smooth ride. New crankcases In an effort to centralize mass, the lightweight die-cast engine casings are developed to accommodate new shaft arrangements. The clutch shaft is now 4mm higher while the crankshaft position is also raised 19.5mm centralising oscillating mass and improving ride-ability. Additionally the new counter balancer shaft has been integrated in a very compact manner without compromising the overall design while new engine covers offer better resistance from wear created by riders boots. New counter balancer shaft The new engine design incorporates a laterally mounted counter balancer shaft. This shaft significantly reduces vibrations resulting in a smoother, more comfortable ride. New frame With years of experience in designing the most advanced steel frames in offroad, the engineers in Research and Development designed a chromium molybdenum steel frame that redefines every structural aspect that benefits handling, ergonomics and packaging. With carefully calculated tortional and longitudinal flex, the frame works in harmony with the suspension to offer sharp handling and superior comfort. This is the bike Antoine Meio (I believe) won the world enduro champinionships upon. If you have a number of bikes. . .you need one with the pipe out the left side. (VERY RARE.) The 2013 TXC310R Redhead.. . is the ultimate quiver bike. (It's not a good bike if it's your only bike. . .I say this . . because. . parts are available. . .but are not on the shelf (have to be ordered). The engine is still around. . but if you're not a mechanic. . (I'm not) you'll notice that shops want more to work on these. Husky of Atlanta brought me this bike (brand new) to BIG BUCK GNCC, 2013. Have paperwork. . paid $7599. I jumped aboard, led the 40B class, and trophied. A week later I was helping a neighbor with a project and broke my back and some ribs. Recovery took two years. . and the bike sat (started it every month or so). I trained a total of 1.5 days on the bike in 2016 (the latter half day to get used to the REKLUSE clutch). I trained on an electric bike in my back yard. . .so. . I rode the 310R a total of 10 races in 2016. . .first in B class. .and then A class. I won 9 trophies in 2016. . .and was in the top 40 in Mideast Hare Scrambles twice. The valves have not been touched, power remains epic. . .the brake pads and chain and sprocket, and suspension are original. I upgraded to the feather-light Earth-X lithium battery, (with internal charge system-$140, and worth much. . much more), I went with the $800 Rekluse setup, including the new ramp design and heavier clutch springs. Only used 10-50 synthetic, and changed after every race. Comes with 4 oil filters, two air filters, a pipe plug, and TUBLISS systems front and back (cost me $500 plus. . installed). I bought this bike because it looked like the Husqvarna from the 1970's (in color). They had me at that red color. I admit, I did not realize what an incredibly fast bike it was, or that it would compensate for me training on an electric bike, and allow me to win first, second and third place trophies in the A class at Mideast Hare Scrambles (racing head to head with and beating people like Mitchell Hampton). I would consider a trade for a 2-stroke YZ 250 . . .2007 or newer. I would love to keep the TUBLISS system.. .but am hoping this bike will become someone's quiver bike and thus. . they would want this incredible system. This bike is a piece of history. . and I hope it goes to a good home. . if I could afford to keep it I would. . .and note. . it's in exceptional shape because it sat for two years. . and I DID NOT train on it. . . .final note. . last race last weekend. . .Mid-east. . I had not ridden in a month. . .bike fired up. . hole shot my class. . .got off course. . bloodied my hands. . top forty finish (out of 300 plus).
