I purchased this bike from the dealer about 1.5 years ago and used it a few times then garaged it most of the time then used it to ride to the gym and beach and back in the garage its been this past summer months with out being used. I'm not giving up riding because because I'm selling my bike... i grew up around them all my life. I'm just giving her up for now cuz I have a new baby girl coming in one more month plus, bought a new country home that I'm renovating. I purchased this bike in April of 2014 straight from a Yamaha dealership with full intention of keeping it until the day that I died, but I'm just not riding it much at all. This bike is my dream bike and handles like such but I find that I do not have as much time to ride it to its full potential....and I'm getting ready to have a little one in September. So I've decided to sell my 2013 R1. I destroyed my ankle up about 4 months ago and the road to recovery is not going well. Its looking like riding and racing will be out for another 6 months so with the new R1 out I think I am going to buy one of those and have a project while I'm down for the count.
