I haven't had much time to ride in the last couple years and it doesn't look like I will anytime soon. This bike is always garaged and well taken care of. Could probably use a tune up but that's about it. Never been down. I'm the 3rd owner, always privately owned. Comes with saddle bags and I'd be willing the throw in the helmet and gloves too. (I have a CorTech three season jacket as well if you wanted it). This is a really great bike to ride! Sorry to have to let it go but it should be run and I could use the space in the garage. This is a 2001 Buell Blast with 9605 miles on it. The motor & transmission fluids have been changed regularly & it runs like a top. I put a new carburetor on it at the beginning of the season & it idles real nice. It is a single cylinder 492cc engine with a 5 speed. The tires are Avon's with about 500 miles on them. The rear pegs are not currently on it. It does have newer Buell blinkers installed. It sounds pretty good, as it has a Vance & Hines S2R muffler on it as well. I prefer cash in person. Based on a 1000cc Harley Davidson sportster twin and transmission with no-maintenance belt drive. Improvements include; late model mirrors, LED turn signals with relay (for correct flash blink speed) custom Corbin seat with custom matched paint job, white powder-coated wheels, german wheel bearings front and rear, Jardin exhaust system, and lower sport handlbar. Also comes with repair manual and cover. Bike has been well-maintained, runs great, and can get over 70mpg under normal riding conditions. 7170 miles, and the registration is good until March 2015. Excellent learning motorcycle, great for shorter riders as well. While not the fastest bike out there, it is more than quick enough to outrun vehicles at a stop-light. Light weight and short wheelbase make it a very easy handling and fun motorcycle to ride.

White E Series Exhaust makes this single cylinder engine sound throaty and run faster than factory exhaust. It's a "half a hog" meaning it's got that HD quality only in one cylinder form instead of 2 cylinder (V-Twin). NOTE: SINGLE CYLINDER BIKES VIBRATE WHEN THEY IDLE, PERFECTLY NORMAL AND FEELS COOL! Terrific starter bike or for those who are not that tall in stature. Both high and low seats are included so size will not be an issue under 6'2" or so. HERE'S THE BEST PART: I am also including the following as part of this spring cleaning deal: Lower seat for smaller riders, Joe Rocket two piece riding gear (pants and Textile Jacket with Knee Pads and ventilation zippers (bought used for $75, size 46?), original exhaust if you don't like the E Series (but you WILL like it!), and a couple of spare parts. I am not riding this bike so its time for it to find a new home. Has 9400 miles on it, I have only put 880 on it in last 2 years. Was originally red but I sprayed it with black bedliner, which now has a few scratches, also blacked out the wheels. Has a great look to it. Rides out well with no wobbles etc. Does need rear break worked on as it wasn't working the last time I rode it. Has a small oil leak on top of head around a vent. I put brand new tires or it when I got it! Overall a great bike that rides really nicely and perfect for a beginner. Its 15 years old and does show some age but its priced right!
