Vehicle DetailsHonda CB500 -- this classic example has been redone very nicely into a cafe racer with some very nice lines from the 7" headlight to 4 - into- 1 exhaust. The seating is aggressive but not too tight and best of all she purrs like a kitten. The CB starts right up with an electric start option and bangs through the gears very well; watch that rear brake though, she bites real hard. There are some minor paint scuffs around the seat/seatpan area and then two small chips on the gas thank where the handlebars were mounted a bit too aggressively; they are minor but worth a mention. I will be happy to entertain any questions but I do not know much of the history of the build as it is an auction motorcycle. There is only a speedometer so can't help with the miles (none are stated on the title either). You might try putting it up for bid to the mom & pop independent shippers on uship. 1984 HONDA XR500 MOTORCYCLE. Nice vintage dirt bike. Has California title. Tag are expired in 2009. From a moving sale this weekend. Owner started it. I'm just a seller & I have a torn hip muscle, on Doctors orders & medication so no lifting, bending or stretching, so I won't be kicking on it lol. Seat has some rips but he gave me a new black cover for it. Looking at it I see one of the motor mounts is cracked so you will want to weld it ( see picture ). I did push on the kick start with my left / good leg & compression feels strong. If the item is listed as used or vintage please don't expect a new or like new item. I have for sale a Honda cb 500 four cylinder motorcycle in great condition for a 40 year old motorcycle. It only 10,600 miles and has a clear Missouri title. Motorcycle has been a daily driver and has been current registration as of this year. Bike runs, idles and all electronics work. Chrome is in great shape with a few pieces having a very slight surface. Tank has been cleaned inside and has a few small dings that should be visible in the pics but the paint is in great shape. Side covers shine and almost look new. Front disc break hangs very slightly so I front brake adjustment is needed. Bike is not perfect but a great example of clean rare Honda motorcycle. I would rate the motorcycle a 7 or 8 out of ten on overall condition. Please look at all pics to see the condition of the motorcycle. Please message for specific pics, questions or video of bike running before bidding. Motorcycle is being sold as is. $500 due at auction end and balance due before shipping or local pickup.
