This one-owner motorcycle is the ultimate in HOT ROD styling while offering all the touring comfort you could be looking for in a Harley Davidson. When you get right down to it, riding a Harley is all about attitude and this awesome Vivid Black 2009 FLHX Street Glide offers the look and feel that real attitude deserves. This machine is in incredible condition as you would expect from one with only 22,005 miles. It was just traded in on a new Jeep in Parkville, MD when the original owner traded it on something with windshield wipers and power windows. It was originally sold new at Harley Davidson of Fredrick MD and with such low miles is scarcely warmed up. It has no visible dings or dents that I noticed while giving it my personal inspection and detail other than a few minor nicks here and there that have been touched up. They're tiny enough that they won't show in a picture. The front and rear tires are both at 85% plus. The leather seat is like new with no wear or damage. The chrome is in excellent condition and all components work as they should. This one has lots of additional blacked out goodies that set it apart from any standard FLHX on the street. Lot's of blacked out parts, a power commander, sweet sounding exhaust and a bucket full of added accessories. The feel youll get when youre cruisin the streets well that is something every man dreams of and every woman secretly desires. When youre on the highway and the legs need a stretch, just flip the kickstand down and take a stroll. A stylishly stripped-down dresser, the Street Glide features lowered rear suspension and Tri-line LED lighting at the bottom of the rear fender for a low, lean profile. A traditional bat wing fairing holds a 40-watt Advanced Audio System by Harman/Kardon. A stretched, chrome fuel tank console and Streamliner footboards, brake pedal and passenger pegs finish the custom treatment. Newly restyled Black Slotted Disc cast aluminum wheels are exclusive to the Street Glide. A new low-mount license bracket locates the plate below the tail lamp, with new LED illumination.NEW ON TOURING MODELS FOR 2009A new chassis designed to deliver precise responsive maneuverability, increased capacity and greater comfort for rider and passenger was introduced byHarley-Davidson for 2009. Incorporating an all-new frame, swingarm, engine mounting system, wheels and tires, the new chassis forms the foundation for what are truly all-new motorcycles. The key styling elements of these motorcycles, however, are essentially unchanged so that the distinctive character and mechanical beauty of each Touring model is preserved. New from the tires up, the Touring chassis is based on a single-spar, rigid backbone frame that supports an increase in load capacity of 70 pounds. This allows for a five pound increase in each saddlebag. A new swingarm contributes significantly to the overall system. The engine-isolation system has been revised to reduce engine and vehicle vibrations at idle speed. The wheel-and-tire package is updated, with front wheel diameter increased to 17 inches from 16 inches while the width of the 16-inch rear wheel is increased to five inches from three inches. All Touring models will be equipped with new Dunlop D407 Multi-Tread rear tires that offer up to 25 percent more rear-tire tread life. The wider rear wheel accommodates a new 180/65-16 rear tire. The new front tire is a 130/80-17. Front and rear suspension has been recalibrated to match the dynamics of the new chassis, wheels and tires. Powertrain revisions include a new 2-1-2 exhaust system that reduces heat exposure to the rider and passenger, and a lower final drive ratio for improved acceleration performance.
