This is a Panhead chopper/bobber motor was a 52 now has STD cases, cases were just too far gone. This is a good strong runing bike - pic show S&U carb, but went with a new S&S e series. 4 speed with belt primary drive, chain rear wheel. Kick start only! Its on a Pauco (spelling?) frame and a DNA front end with a 21" disk brake wheel and 16" in rear. This bike was started in my garage from an idea I had. Hills Performance in Ney Ohio finished it for me. Currently it has a mousetrap clutch setup, but I also have a hand/tank shift set-up for it. Bike has several hundred miles on it, but speedo shows 28, added for state inspection to get title. Title is a homebuilt 2013. Any question please eamil me. Can help with shipping prep.

Up for sale is my 1949 Harley Davidson Panhead EL. The bike and Sidecar have been completely restored with many correct OEM and NOS parts. The color is also correct, "Congo Green" , (please note scratch in rear fender, it may buff out). The VIN numbers are nice and clear however the belly numbers on the engine are 52. I have a clear KY title in my name. The 47LE sidecar was a complete original, not put together from pieces. Not shown is a new floor mat and spare tire cover. The bike starts easily and runs great. Bike is in immaculate and showroom condition with only 4,463 original miles; Has never gone down and starts the first time every time! It has no dents and the paint is in excellent condition (make sure you question any damage you see on other bikes you're looking at such as on the tank, pipes, and wheels because chances are the bike has gone down). This black beauty has always been garaged and has never seen rain or snow. Bike has original exhaust system & factory pipes (important fact to know and rare feature since most throw on the Vance & Hines pipes without knowing how it may affect their bike's performance. And if the exhaust was modified, how are you to know if it was done right and by who?) Personally I think the factory pipes on this model purr just fine and are still some of the best and sexiest looking pipes today and what I always got the most compliments on at red lights.
