RODS & RIDES MOTORCYCLE COMPANY " T h e O z " Video Link General Info:The machine was named Oz for several reasons, the main one being focused around the fact it is the great and powerful… This machine has the style of a vintage racer with a total twist of attitude. The huge 26” rubber found out front and rear wrapped on old school style BMX wheels. Holding this giant front wheel is a massive leaf spring style suspension front end with a trick custom light mount never seen before. The neck area has been left clean and simple with the badge that represents R&R. Moving your way back you’ll notice the single down tube frame with several holes and gussets that where designed to match through out the frame design. The seat is swung in motion by yet another leaf spring and a set of billet shackles to match the front suspension. Out back, the drop out rear axle sections and the wing style adjusters act as another signature piece for this unique machine. The oil tank not only holds several quarts of oil and helps to keep this gem cool but it also is the mounting spot for the rear taillight. The taillight is recessed in the back and simulates a breather with its mesh cover and C-clip. The tank also has a clear side window that allows for the viewing of the return oil from the engine. The fuel tanks also cannot be unnoticed. They where hand built just like the entire machine and show chromed and look as though they are made like jewelry in every detail. The finish and look can really only be appreciated in person. The drive train of this very unique machine also sets the tone and the bar. The S&S 74 cubic inch Panhead not only adds style but also shows how simple an engine can be with its single wire distributor with points and all. The engine starts with a simple push of the button and per’s like a sewing machine. The stainless steel flapper style exhaust does make a very distinctive sound that won’t ever be duplicated. As far as the primary, it has an old school style 2” open belt with a centrifugal clutch. The six-speed transmission also has a hydraulic actuator to control the clutch. The function of both is by far different than any other. The machine can be ridden with no clutch and will sit at idle in gear without moving. With just a twist of the throttle, the machine takes off and can be shifted gear to gear with no clutch. The hydraulic actuator only is there if you desire to really bang through the gears or someone wants to rev the engine up to attract even more attention. The combination of these parts is the closest thing to an automatic transmission. Awards: This machine has only been to one event since it’s completion August 2014. The event was the 74th Annual Sturgis Rally & Races. This was most likely one of the most photographed bikes at the rally this year. It will be showcased in several magazines and several Internet blogs. The machine was displayed at several shows including the J&P Cycles Biker Build Off where is stole the show and won with honors. It also was displayed at the Biggest bike show of them all, the grand daddy RAT HOLE SHOW. It won the prestigious 1st place award… This machine will win and shows like no other machine we have ever built. History: RODS & RIDES MOTORCYCLE CO. began building hand made machines in 2007. The Street Bob® model features cast fuel tank medallions with classic styling that oozes the iconic Harley-Davidson attitude. Consider it your badge of honor bolted on the side of the fuel tank so everyone can see exactly how you roll.Mini Ape-Hanger HandlebarGrab hold of the stainless steel mini ape-hanger handlebar and put your fists way into the wind. The style is pure post-war bobbers, and we keep it clean and minimalist by routing the wires inside the steel. We've rubber-isolated the bars with separate risers and blacked out top triple clamps, so you can ride more comfortably, with less vibration, and can accessorize with less hassle.Stop-Turn-Tail LightsOld-school looks meet new-school engineering. Minimalist chrome retro-style bullet taillights combine functionality to work twice as hard—stop beams and running lights plus turn indicators in two low-profile rear lamps.Six-Speed Cruise Drive® TransmissionYou want a ride that rumbles—not begs for mercy—when you lean on it a little. The Six-Speed Cruise Drive® transmission provides smooth, quiet shifting and reduces engine speed on the highway, so you get a better match between engine turnover and road speed. It's a rare ride when a bike responds like this, and a low growl goes a long way when you're opening up the road ahead.Twin Cam 103™ Engine HeritageThe knowledge of what makes an engine truly move a rider runs deep at The Motor Company, and it was put to good use when we created the Twin Cam 103™ engine. Ask For Bill @ RAGING BULL HARLEY DAVIDSON IN DURHAM NCBill Rannells Raging Bull HDInternet Sales300 Muldee St919-596-9511Durham NC [email protected] Harley-Davidson® Softail Slim®The perfect blend of classic, raw bobber style and the power of a High Output Twin Cam 103B™ engine. A modern ride with unmistakable old-iron attitude. The good old days are right now.The Softail Slim® is study in contrasts. The Hollywood bars, slim rear wheel, cat eye console and floor boards recall the early days of custom motorcycle enthusiasm. Yet you also get thoroughly modern features like a High Output Twin Cam 103™ engine, hidden suspension and great brakes to bring it all into the here and now. Notice the way bright chrome meets blacked-out metal. Laced wheels with stamped black rims. There’s never been a better time to be a rider.Features may include:Authentic StylingGet an eyeful of a Softail motorcycle and you see more than some weepy-eyed exercise in nostalgia. You’re looking at the kind of style that has the power to defy time. Honest. Uncluttered. Unaffected by the fad of the moment. There’s a good reason for this. We’ve used our long decades on the road, riding, wrenching, talking to other custom bike fanatics, to discover what works. Then we stick with it, and use it to push the boundaries of motorcycle design ever further. Take a look at the horseshoe oil tank adorning our Softail models. It’s the same one you’d see on a restored dresser from the ‘50s, or a radical Panhead chopper from the ‘70s. And you’ll find it right now on future Harley-Davidson models that still on the drawing board. Other companies may be content to imitate bits and pieces from our long history. On a Softail motorcycle every part down to the axle nut cover comes from an authentic tradition. With a genuine reason for looking the way it looks.Iconic EngineThe air-cooled 45° V-Twin engine at the heart of every Softail model is a prime example of what makes a Harley-Davidson motorcycle more satisfying than anything else. Its clean, uncluttered shape fits perfectly in the downtubes of the frame. Twist the throttle and the surge of torque hits you exactly where it counts. The knowledge of what makes an engine truly move a rider runs deep at The Motor Company, and it’s been put to particular good use to power the Softail family. We counterbalance the engine, which means we can bolt it directly to the frame. It keeps the styling tight at the center of the bike. It lets the rider feel the pulse of the V-Twin. Yet there aren’t any vibrations rattling the fillings out of your teeth. What’s good gets even better for 2016. The Softail family gets a power upgrade to the new High Output Twin Cam 103B™ engine. More power is always a Harley-Davidson tradition.TechnologyThe beauty of the technology on a Softail motorcycle is that it never looks technological. That didn’t happen by accident and it doesn’t come easy, particularly when you consider that the inspiration for the family is the clean, wide-open lines of a vintage hardtail. Clutter it up with too many high tech doo-dads and you have a different machine entirely. Take a look at the anti-lock brakes now standard on many Softail models and available across the line. ABS gives you the control you want on a modern motorcycle. But our teams of industrial designers and engineers weren’t finished until the whole system had a streamlined design. The same goes for the clean look to the handlebars, thanks to a new electronic throttle system on every Softail model. With each passing year, adding a little technology to the ride looks better and better.HandlingIf you’ve never experienced a Harley-Davidson Softail motorcycle, it’s time to find out what you’ve been missing. The venerable Softail frame has logged untold millions of miles, and we’ve put every one of them to good use. The result: one of the most fun rides in all of motorcycling. 2016 Harley-Davidson® FLS Softail Slim® BaseYear2016ManufacturerHarley-Davidson®Model NameFLS Softail Slim®Trim NameBaseGeneric Type (Primary)StandardDimensionsLength92.3 in.Seat Height, Laden23.8 in.Seat Height, Unladen28.2 in.Ground Clearance4.9 in.Rake (steering head) (deg)32.1Trail5.8 in.Wheelbase64.4 in.Tires, Front SpecificationMT90B16 72HTires, Rear SpecificationMU85B16 77HFuel Capacity5 gal.Oil Capacity (w/filter)3.5 qt.Weight, As Shipped677 lb.Weight, In Running Order706 lb.EngineAir-Cooled, High Output Twin Cam 103B™Bore3.87 in.Stroke4.374 in.Displacement103.1 cu inCompression Ratio9.6:1Fuel SystemElectronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI)DrivetrainPrimary DriveChain, 34/46 ratioGear Ratios (overall) 1st9.311Gear Ratios (overall) 2nd6.454Gear Ratios (overall) 3rd4.793Gear Ratios (overall) 4th3.882Gear Ratios (overall) 5th3.307Gear Ratios (overall) 6th2.79ExhaustChrome, over/under shotgun exhaust with slash-cut mufflersWheel Type, FrontBlack Steel LacedWheels Type, RearBlack Steel LacedBrakes, Caliper Type4-piston front and 2-piston rearPerformanceEngine Torque Testing MethodJ1349Engine Torque100.3 ft-lbEngine Torque (rpm)3,000Lean Angle, Right (deg.)24Lean Angle, Left (deg.)24.9Fuel Economy: Combined City/Hwy42 mpgElectricLightingHigh beam, neutral, low oil pressure, turn signals, engine diagnostics, security system (optional), 6-speed, low fuel warningsGaugesTank-mounted electronic speedometer with odometer, time-of-day clock on odometer, dual tripmeter, RPM/gear display, fuel gauge with low fuel warning light and countdown feature, low oil pressure indicator light, engine diagnostics readout, LED indicator lights, 6-speed indicator light

Description Call or Text John Sands @ 321-217-6354 about this clean and like new 2016 StreetBob!!! Call or Text John Sands @ 321-217-6354 2016 Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Bob Call or Text John Sands @ 321-217-6354The mile-eating performance of our Dyna chassis wrapped in no-nonsense, stripped-down, hardcore bobber style. The time-honored art of getting rid of everything that doesnt matter. The original bobber fanatics invented the style you see here, and they had one rule: if it weighs you down, get rid of it. Thats the Street Bob motorcycle in spades. Solo seat. Chopped rear fender. Mini-apes putting your fists in the wind. No B.S. All it takes is a twist of the wrist to send whatever the world is trying to weigh you down with to the vanishing point behind you.Features may include:Iconic Engine There is something about the steady pulse of power from an air-cooled Twin Cam 103 engine that works its way into a rider and wont let go. Once youve experienced it you understand. Nothing else in the world of motorized transportation could be as satisfying. There are perfectly rational explanations for this. The lightweight piston design and refined delivery of power. The strong driveline and bulletproof internal parts. The way engine and Six-Speed Cruise Drive transmission work flawlessly together to carry you down the highway at a relaxed, easy-riding rpm. But rational explanations never go far enough. What you feel when the power of this engine pulls you down the road toward the vanishing point is the legacy of the Flathead, Knucklehead, Panhead, Shovelhead, Evolution, Twin Cam 88 and Twin Cam 96 engines that came before. Its something no ordinary engine can deliver.Technology You dont see a lot of 21 century technology peeking through the clean old-school lines of the motorcycles in the Dyna family. Thats the point. Once the teams of engineers and industrial designers have finished building the systems that load these motorcycles up with modern function, the job is only half finished. The next step is to find smart ways to integrate it into the design without taking away from the styling cues. Take the anti-lock brakes that are either standard or available as a factory-installed option across the line. Its one of the top ABS systems out there, and gives you the control you want in a modern motorcycle. But the real beauty is the way we streamlined the look of the hardware.Handling If theres anything the unruly bunch of riders that gravitate to a Dyna motorcycle have in common, its that theyre not easily satisfied. So we built every bike in the family to bridge the gap between knockout looks and uncompromising open road function. The exceptional stiffness of the chassis makes for sure-footed handling. The brakes and suspension components are top end, and the custom-style wheels roll on premium rubber designed for both durability and grip performance. A Dyna motorcycle is rolling proof that you dont need a bike that looks like it belongs in a B-grade science fiction movie to burn through a wicked set of curves.Comfort Journey back far enough in the factory custom history of the Dyna family and you get to the machine that started the whole thing off: a Harley-Davidson touring bike. Seriously, and thats your first clue to the rider comfort that waits for you in the saddle of todays Dyna motorcycle. That early touring machine featured a new kind of isolation mounting system for the engine. Which led to a series of innovative frame designs. And that brings us to the current Dyna frame and its two-point engine isolation mounting system. It makes sure the power of 103 cubic inches of Twin Cam 103 engine gets to the pavement. Authentic Styling Wrinkle Black Console with Speedo and Tach: There’s a new wrinkle black console with a speedo and tach mounted on the Low Rider motorcycle’s classic Fat Bob® tank. The look ties in with the wrinkle black paint on the powertrain and fender strut covers. And gives a nice, subtle contrast to the Vivid Black paint on the tank. Because there’s no such thing as too many shades of black. 2-Into-1 Exhaust: A new 2-into-1 exhaust that flows like liquid chrome adds some eye-popping custom style to the Low Rider model. You'll also like what it does for your ears. It's tuned for a deep, rich rumble that no rider can ever get enough of. True Custom Details: Here’s what your eyes discover on a journey over the Low Rider motorcycle: a polished front end, wrinkle black and chrome powertrain, chrome-plated fender strut covers that give a nod to the past and feature wrinkle black cutouts that match the Low Rider badging on the battery box cover. The headlight is capped off with a classically styled eyebrow that serves double duty as both the headlight and handlebar riser mount. Even the seat cover gets the custom treatment. It’s a perforated material that highlights the performance prowess at the heart of this great motorcycle. Premium Custom Style: From wheel to wheel, the all-new Low Rider model is a low riding feast for the eyes, loaded with high-end finishes as it holds true to the heritage of all the Low Rider motorcycles that have rolled down the streets of the world before it. From the '70s inspired seat to the chunky mag wheels to the true, sculpted beauty and finish on its 103 cubic inch V-twin engine, this is premium Harley-Davidson® custom style to the bone. So even though you’re riding low, you’re doing it in high style. Chunky Mag Wheels: The all-new Low Rider motorcycle rolls straight out of hot rod street culture on chunky mag wheels. The look is true, pure American muscle. There’s no substitute for it anywhere in the world. Iconic Engine Six-Speed Cruise Drive® Transmission: You want a ride that rumbles – not begs for mercy – when you lean on it a little. The Six-Speed Cruise Drive transmission provides smooth, quiet shifting and reduces engine speed on the highway, so you get a better match between engine turnover and road speed. It's a rare ride when a bike responds like this, and a low growl goes a long way when you're opening up the road ahead. Pure Harley-Davidson Styling: Feast your eyes on the High Output Twin Cam 103 engine and there's no mistaking its roots. This is authentic Harley-Davidson style through and through with an attention to detail you won't find from any other motorcycle company. Black powder-coated heads and cylinders are highlighted by machined cooling fin tips and chrome rocker covers. It's a jewel machined out of metal. Pure. Dripping with power. From the classic edge of the cooling fins to the clean lines of cases and covers – the Twin Cam 103 engine makes an ironclad statement about holding on to what's right and staying true to what satisfies. High Output Twin Cam 103 Engine: The knowledge of what makes an engine truly move a rider runs deep at The Motor Company, and it was put to good use when we created the Twin Cam 103 engine. We sweated bullets perfecting every cubic inch, pushing design and technology forward. And we did it all without compromising one bit of Harley-Davidson's unique styling. Evolved, yet carrying on the legacy of the Flathead, Knucklehead, Panhead, Shovelhead, Evolution® and Twin Cam 88® and Twin Cam 96™ engines that came before. The performance and durability are a direct result of the untold miles logged on the V-twin since 1909 and the proud heritage that comes from a century's worth of commitment to life on two wheels. Twin Cam 103 Engine Innovation: Fire up the High Output Twin Cam 103 engine and feel the low-end torque unleashed. Thanks to the lightweight piston design, delivery of the added power is more refined than ever. Then put your foot on the shifter and feel how the engine and Six-Speed Cruise Drive transmission were designed to work together. Six speeds. A strong driveline and strong internal parts. Low routine maintenance. And a low cruising RPM couldn't feel better. Twin Cam 103 Engine Power: Live your ride to the power of 103. The air-cooled High Output Twin Cam 103 engine delivers more stump-pulling torque, while its Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection jetting gives crisp, lively throttle reaction. It’s a performance punch that you’ll appreciate when passing, climbing hills, or rolling with luggage packed or a passenger in back – all under that signature Motor Company rumble. And it comes at lower cruising RPM, so you ride more smoothly, with less engine vibration and better highway fuel economy. Comfort Perfect Fit Ergonomics: Whether you’re 5 ft. 1 in. or 6 ft. 1 in., thanks to perfect fit ergonomics, you can dial the new Low Rider motorcycle in to fit you like a motorcycle glove. We developed perfect fit through an innovative look at how riders fit on a motorcycle using both simulation and actual rider studies. The result is a unique handlebar riser that provides 2.4 inches of movement fore and aft and an innovative, yet simple, seat design, which allows you to select from two riding positions that offer an additional 1.5 inches of adjustment fore and aft. This is pure Harley-Davidson steel tailored to your body. Relocated Mid-Mount Controls: The Low Rider model gives you the confidence-inspiring riding position that comes from mid-mount foot controls. Your feet are right where you want them to be, with an easy reach to the ground when it’s time to stop. Your knees ride naturally next to the tank for a good center of gravity and balance in the corners. And the controls have been positioned to give you easy access to the jiffy stand so there’s no fishing around with your foot when it’s time to dismount.

The amount of torque and horsepower it delivers over the RPM range is in direct proportion to the feeling it gives you when you roll on the throttle. We know what riders want from a motorcycle engine because we’ve been building them for 110 years. Project RUSHMORE gave us the opportunity to dial it in just right. We conducted thousands of road tests with real riders giving us feedback to build the next iteration of the legendary Harley-Davidson® engine. The consensus was: We want more. More low-end torque, more passing power, more perfection in the tone of the exhaust note, more of the feeling we ride a motorcycle for. So we built the engines that deliver it. We’re proud to unveil the next level of Harley-Davidson® V-Twin engine. And prove once and for all, the customer is always right.Pure Harley-Davidson Styling: Feast your eyes on the Twin Cam 103™ engine and there's no mistaking its roots. Everybody wants it, and the new High Output Twin Cam 103™ engine is 103 cubic inches of Harley-Davidson V-Twin you can rely on to deliver it. There’s a new airbox for increased intake airflow and a new cam that optimizes phase and duration. The result: better low end torque and faster 60 to 80 mph 5th gear roll-on to get you around that 18-wheeler. In the tradition of the Flathead, Knucklehead, Panhead, Shovelhead, Evolution® Twin Cam 88® and Twin Cam 96® engines that came before it, the new High Output Twin Cam 103™ engine is raising the bar for the feeling an engine delivers to the rider. There’s a reason we’re called the Harley-Davidson Motor Company. Once you send some fuel this one, you’ll have do doubt what it is.ConfidenceProject RUSHMORE - Confidence: Here are some of the innovations The Rider Project led to: the new Reflex™ Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Linked Brakes, new dual halogen and LED headlamps and fog lamps, brighter Tour Pak® lighting, brighter turn signals, brighter brake lights, and a new steering head with stiffer front forks. Locked-up tires are now history even when there’s wet pavement. We’ve made it feel even better to lean your way through a turn. Now you can see better. And we’ve made you more conspicuous to the cage-driving public. Because one thing we all agree on is this: Bikes that work better make riders who ride better. Take a ride. See how good you can be.Reflex™ Linked Brakes with Anti-lock Braking System: No doubt about it, there are times riding when you need to haul things down in a hurry. And you don’t get to pick those times. Or decide whether or not they occur when you’re on a flat, smooth, dry, perfect new stretch of pavement. That’s why our touring models feature new Reflex™ anti-lock braking (ABS) with dynamically, electronically linked brakes. ABS turns a locked up front wheel or a rear wheel skid into a relic from riding’s history. And the front and rear brakes are electronically linked to provide exactly the right amount of brake to each tire no matter what the road condition is. No matter how good you are, this will make you a better rider.New Steering Head and Front Forks: Whether it’s a big sweeping curve or a set of tight turns, getting through the corners just got better. We stiffened up the front end, increased the fork diameter to 49mm and added new steel ball bearings, with lubricant contained inside to keep contaminants out for durability. The responsiveness is dialed in.Air-Adjustable Suspension: With air-adjustable suspension that comes standard, you can dial in your ride to accommodate heavier or lighter payloads, battle unexpected road conditions or simply set it to how you like to roll. The lighter the load, the softer you can go by decreasing the air pressure a bit, or increase the air pressure for a more firm ride. A convenient air valve is located between the saddlebag and rear fender for quick adjusting. It's all about rider and passenger comfort and setting your bike to fit your taste—the easy way.Brembo® Brakes: Confidence. Control. High-performance dual disc Brembo® brakes offer consistent stopping power at all speeds. The 4-piston front and rear caliper with dual front rotor brake system is state of the art and top of the line. It's just another way The Motor Company puts a high level of detail into their bikes to give you peace of mind throughout your journey.Dunlop® Multi-Tread™ Tires: The 180mm back tire is engineered to do more than fill out the rear fender and put a bigger patch of rubber on the road. Dunlop® Multi-Tread™ technology uses harder compounds at the center and softer on the sides for a tire that still knows how to knuckle-down on corners. Perfect for making this bike agile on every curvy stretch of road. And the way it feels going through an abrupt off-camber turn will put a grin on your face that'll last to the next state line.H-D® Smart Security System (Optional): The factory installed next-generation security system features a hands-free fob that automatically arms and disarms the vehicle electronic security functions as you approach and walk away from the bike. Stick the fob on your ignition key ring and let it do all the work. It's this attention to details and security that make Harley-Davidson® motorcycles unique.New ergonomically designed hand controls: It’s hard to enjoy the ride or keep your eyes focused on what’s coming down the road when you’re fussing and bothering with the switches on your handlebar. So we’ve worked over the hand controls on our new touring bikes with as much passion as we’ve worked over our new engine. We made the shape more ergonomic and located and angled them to fall right under your thumbs. We’ve added left-hand cruise for easy activation, an easily locatable trigger switch to control and scan through functional readouts. And we’ve improved the feel to give you a confidence-inspiring click at every push of a button. And it’s all prewired for parts and accessories, which even lets you customize with less fuss and bother.Dual Halogen Headlight and Fog Lamps: When the sun goes low, the amount of road you have your eyes trained on stays high .Sitting inside that classic Hiawatha nacelle, you got a new dual halogen headlamp and halogen fog lamps to match. Boasting a higher quality of light than previous models courtesy of a darkness-defying 986 lumens, they ensure you’ll have no trouble seeing everything out there that needs to be seen.Authentic StylingProject RUSHMORE - Styling: Project RUSHMORE is the journey we set out on to take our touring motorcycles to places never imagined before – to turn all the possibilities for what a motorcycle can be now into true Milwaukee steel. We did it our way, as we’ve always done. As riders. Riding with other riders. Thousand of hours, countless road tests, millions of miles. Looking for the technology and innovations that truly make the ride better. We went over the bike fender tip to fender tip. Making it work better. Making it look sleeker. Modern. Clean. Tight. Let your eye take the journey over the machine. This is classic Harley-Davidson style and an all-new look at the exact same time. At Harley-Davidson, form has always followed function. And both have always reported to emotion. Now we’re just doing it on a completely different level.Low Mounted License Plate: We keep the back end clean and classy with a low mounted license plate that features little visible hardware. As an extra touch, we throw some LED lighting around the tag for crisp visibility and style—just enough to give your tail end a glow when you're riding through the night. This completes the classic, uncluttered look of the Road King® model.Classic Fuel Tank: Part of the unmistakable style of the Harley-Davidson® Road King® motorcycle is plenty of room for showing off your paint. This classically styled, bold six-gallon fuel tank doesn't just give you a bigger canvas for premium or custom paint; it holds six gallons of go so you can eat up a lot more road between pit stops. A dual-color paint scheme and unique Harley-Davidson waterslide graphics give this bike a truly one-of-a-kind look.Classic Hiawatha Headlamp: Big and commanding, this headlamp hearkens back to the Big Twins of the 60s. You get nothing less than the latest in materials and technology. Clear-lens reflector optics provide a longer distance high beam and wider low beam. It's a bright, striking daytime lamp that blasts a little further into the night. There's just no beating the classic lines of that sweeping headlight nacelle.New Tank And Fender Badges: This isn’t just a motorcycle. It’s a work of art, born out of passion, creativity and long days, late nights and refusing to be satisfied until every detail was perfect. When we added the signature, we did it with metal. Nothing else would be right on this masterpiece.New Tank Mounted Gauges: New graphics and wider numbers show up on the Road King® motorcycle's gauges this year. There are also a new RPM read out and a new gear indicator in the odometer display area. One quick glance tells you everything you need to know.Agitator Chrome Wheels: The Road King® motorcycle rides on custom Agitator 7-spoke, mirror-chrome wheels wrapped in classic wide white wall tires. And there's a new brake rotor designed to show more of the wheel and a cut back front fender that uncovers more of the white wall tire. Nostalgia, meet the cutting edge of street custom.ComfortProject RUSHMORE - Comfort: The comfort of our machines has been dialed in the hard way: Over 110 years and thousands of miles in all kinds of conditions on every kind of street, road and highway ever laid down in pavement. Long hours in the saddle are the only way there is to learn what you need to know about things like airflow, heat management, seat materials and textures and the amount of effort it takes to pull a clutch lever. We don't stop until we build the most comfortable machines you can throw a leg over. We all want to go farther, and when you and your rider are more comfortable in the saddle, you can.Full-Length Footboards & Toe/Heel Gear Shifts: Your boots were made for riding—any way you see fit. Our full-length footboards boast a time-tested, tried-and-true design and rubber isolation for a comfortable ride, while the height-adjustable passenger boards add another level of customizable comfort for your riding partner. And for shifting gears, you can use either the traditional toe-shift or the even easier, more convenient heel-shift. It might take a few rides, but once you've gotten used to the smooth shifting rhythm, you'll never give it up.Two-Up Road King® Seat: A classic feature revamped for contemporary looks and performance—without sacrificing an ounce of nostalgic style. Sculpted with a deep bucket and narrow neck this ultimate Touring saddle relieves pressure on your thighs, while providing more back support and comfort for a wide variety of rider sizes. And the lower seat height—26.5 inches to be exact—puts your feet closer to the road to enhance your confidence. Additionally, the leather trim and premium stitching accentuate the advanced ergonomics while giving the seat that sharp detail you only find on a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle. It's science in service of comfort, and your way to beat fatigue over the long haul.Wide Set Handlebar: Style and maximum comfort. That's the perfect balance of the wide set handlebars that come standard on the Road King® model. They're designed to keep you comfortably propped in a commanding position while making sure your neck muscles stay calm and relaxed mile after mile, state after state. Durable stainless steel insures the structural rigidity you expect from a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle with the deep, lustrous finish you desire.Detachable Windshield: Go from touring to cruising in a heartbeat. Detach the screen for a clean, cool cruising style, or re-attach it in seconds for a clean envelope of air over the long haul. The windshield is as tough as they come—durable, scratch resistant, low maintenance. And whether you choose to have it on off, your Road King® motorcycle rules with a nostalgic style and versatility you can make your own.Standard Cruise Control: Installing cruise control is standard operating procedure on the new touring models because riding long stretches of unbroken highway is standard operating procedure among touring riders. Electronic throttle control means no cable cluttering up your handlebar. And the switches are placed where you can easily dial in your speed with your left thumb, give the wrist a break, and keep hauling on down the road.ConvenienceProject RUSHMORE - Convenience: If you want the ride to be truly epic, you have to sweat bullets to make the little things work exactly right. This is what Project RUSHMORE was all about. Now you have saddlebags that can be easily opened with one hand. Compartments that open with one touch. And we’ve increased the storage space on these new machines without ruining the sleek, road-eating look of the bike. It all adds up to hundreds of little moments where things just click conveniently into place. Because there can be no imperfections in the quest for the perfect ride. One Touch Design Philosophy: Here’s the rule we laid down for every compartment cover and saddlebag lid on our touring line: if it doesn’t open with the single touch of a button or one hand, while wearing gloves, it doesn’t go on the motorcycle. Because in all our conversations with all the riders we talked while we were rebuilding these motorcycles from the ground up, we didn’t encounter a single individual who wanted to have to put something on the ground before he could store it in a saddlebag.New Saddlebag Design: Don’t let the sleek new look of these saddlebags deceive you. The look is tight on the outside, but things just got a little roomier on the inside. You want stuffability and these deliver bigger than ever. The hinges are simple and clean and the lids they open with one touch of one hand. The lock is tight and integrated into the latch where you can put the key in without the danger of scratching your premium paint. Welcome to the next level of the bagger.DimensionsLength: 96.5 in. And prove once and for all, the customer is always right.Twin-Cooled High Output Twin Cam 103® Engine: If you started in 1909 with the very first Harley-Davidson V-Twin engine and worked your way up through every engine, every innovation, every improvement, every ride, every durability test in all those years and countless miles since, you arrive at the Twin Cooled High Output Twin Cam 103™ engine. This is the top of the line. 103 cubic inches of air and precision cooled Harley-Davidson® V-twin power. Twin cooling cools the heads around the exhaust ports to deliver at or near peak performance under all operating conditions and temperatures. Higher compression ratio increases efficiency and horsepower. There’s a new airbox for increased airflow and a new cam to optimize low-end torque. It’s got the fastest 60 to 80 mph 5th gear roll on in the history of Harley-Davidson. Which means it’s got the most passing power in the history of Harley-Davidson. On top of all that, it puts less heat on the rider and passenger on scorching days and in stop and go traffic.Pure Harley-Davidson Styling: Feast your eyes on the Twin Cam 103™ engine and there's no mistaking its roots. From the classic edge of the cooling fins to the clean lines of cases and covers—the Twin Cam 103™ engine makes an ironclad statement to holding on to what's right and staying true to what satisfies the rider.Six-Speed Cruise Drive® Transmission: You want a ride that rumbles—not begs for mercy—when you lean on it a little. The Six-Speed Cruise Drive® transmission provides smooth, quiet shifting and reduces engine speed on the highway, so you get a better match between engine turnover and road speed. And the Isolated Drive System makes acceleration flow in a smooth, steady stream from your wrist right down to the pavement. It's a rare ride when a bike responds like this, and a low growl goes a long way when you're opening up the road ahead.Twin Cam 103™ Engine Heritage: The knowledge of what makes an engine truly move a rider runs deep at The Motor Company, and it was put to good use when we created the Twin Cam 103™ engine. We painstakingly perfected every cubic inch, pushing design and technology forward—all without compromising one bit of Harley-Davidson's unique styling. Evolved, yet carrying on the legacy of the Flathead, Knucklehead, Panhead, Shovelhead, Evolution®, Twin Cam 88® and Twin Cam 96™ engines that came before. The performance and durability are a direct result of the untold miles logged on the V-Twin since 1909, and the proud heritage that comes from a century's worth of commitment to life on two wheels.Twin Cam 103™ Engine Innovation: Fire up the Twin Cam 103™ engine and feel the low-end torque unleashed. Thanks to the lightweight piston design, delivery of the added power is more refined than ever. Then put your foot on the shifter and feel how the engine and Six-Speed Cruise Drive® transmission were designed to work together. Six speeds. A strong driveline and strong internal parts. Low routine maintenance. And a low cruising rpm couldn't feel better.InfotainmentProject RUSHMORE - Infotainment: More sound. Purer sound. Big, full color touch screens. Switches that are located where you intuitively want them to be and can reach without removing your hands from the grips. Voice activation for your music, phone and GPS. Or as more than one rider asked: “Why can’t the infotainment system on my motorcycle blow away the ones the car companies put in their cars?” We couldn’t agree more. Check out the new infotainment system Project RUSHMORE brought to the sport of motorcycling. You won’t believe your eyes. Or ears.5.25-inch Front and Rear Speakers: The sound delivered front and rear comes from 5.25-inch speakers mounted securely in sealed and tuned enclosed speaker housings.New 6.5-inch Full Color Touch Screen Display: This 6.5-inch full color touch screen puts all your information in front of you bigger than ever. Modern graphics, colors you can dial in, and auto and manual dim. Design to sit stylishly inside your fairing, it takes screen technology to a new level of Harley-Davidson functionality. This is more than you expect, but when you’re going all the way, it’s everything you deserve.Ready For Your Upgrades: The new Boom!™ Box 6.5GT was built with your personal touches in mind. You can integrate P & A satellite radio right into the vehicle radio with no external mounting and control it through the hand controls. Additional satellite services such as weather and traffic can be added and overplayed on the GPS maps. You can even download map upgrades and additional functions. The only question is, how far do you want to go?Jukebox with USB Port for iPod/iPhone: The Jukebox opens with one touch of a button and includes a USB connection which accepts your iPhone, iTouch, non-iPod imitators, and SD card and other USB compatible devices. Pop it open, plug in and your device becomes a part of your motorcycle. Ready to be operated by voice command or hand controls.New Fairing Reduces Head Buffeting: This is what the science of cheating the wind involves at Harley-Davidson now: Fluid mechanics, algorithms, high-speed super computers and thousands upon thousands of wind-tunnel tests with riders in the saddle telling us how it feels. And that’s before we take it out on the road for thousands of miles of real world wind gusts and every form of rain a cloud can spit out. The result: a brand new take on the classic Batwing fairing that delivers smoother air flow and reduced head buffeting. Most of it thanks to the pressure-equalizing duct on the front. It opens and closes with one touch of a button. The feeling of being in the wind just got even better.New Boom!™ Box 6.5GT Radio: Let’s start with the big news: 25% more volume for your tunes. The new Boom!™ Box 6.5GT Radio puts out 25 watts per channel at 1% distortion and features a factory-tuned, optimized equalizer that pumps out more power and can be played louder while maintaining the clarity of your sound. And the new speed tuning system delivers more than just volume changes at different speeds. It changes the level of bass and treble to dial-in the best sound, whether you’re running at stately pace down the strip or going hell for leather down an open stretch of road. How do you like the sound of a Harley® motorcycle now?Voice Recognition, Bluetooth: The Boom!™ Box 6.5GT gives you voice recognition for hands free operation of your mobile phone, navigation system and music. It’s also Bluetooth capable. Whatever you want, just say the word. Whether it’s directions to the next gas station, a call back to the office you’re not at today or a song that fits the stretch of road you’re on, it’ll be served up without missing a beat.ConfidenceProject RUSHMORE - Confidence: Here are some of the innovations The Rider Project led to: the new Reflex™ Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Linked Brakes, new dual halogen and LED headlamps and fog lamps, brighter Tour Pak® lighting, brighter turn signals, brighter brake lights, and a new steering head with stiffer front forks. No matter how good you are, this will make you a better rider.Daymaker™ LED Headlights and LED Fog Lamps: For those who regard darkness as an invitation to go farther, the Daymaker™ LED headlight with LED fog lamps will light the way. With 2,136 powerful, daylight-simulating lumens that bathe the dark road in natural light, a shoulder-to-shoulder spread of 160 feet and a 450-foot punch, the night is yours to take with full confidence. Because not all of us look for an exit when day turns to night.New Ergonomically Designed Hand Controls: It’s hard to enjoy the ride or keep your eyes focused on what’s coming down the road when you’re fussing and bothering with the switches on your handlebar. So we’ve worked over the hand controls on our new touring bikes with as much passion as we’ve worked over our new engine. We made the shape more ergonomic and located and angled them to fall right under your thumbs. We’ve added left-hand cruise for easy activation, new toggle switches to control infotainment functions, an easily locatable trigger switch to control and scan through functional readouts. And we’ve improved the feel to give you a confidence-inspiring click at every push of a button. Even the dash panel switch gets better. And it’s all prewired for parts and accessories, which even lets you customize with less fuss and bother.New Steering Head and Front Forks: Whether it’s a big sweeping curve set of tight turns, getting through the corners just got better. It's just another way The Motor Company puts a high level of detail into their bikes to give you peace of mind throughout your journey.Dunlop® Multi-Tread™ Tires: The 180mm back tire does more than fill out the rear fender and put a bigger patch of rubber on the road. Dunlop® Multi-Tread™ technology uses harder compounds at the center and softer on the sides for a tire that still knows how to knuckle-down on corners. Perfect for making this bike agile on every curvy stretch of road. And the way it feels going through an abrupt off-camber turn will put a grin on your face that'll last to the next state line.H-D® Smart Security System: The factory installed next-generation security system features a hands-free fob that automatically arms and disarms the vehicle electronic security functions as you approach and walk away from the bike. Stick the fob on your ignition key ring and let it do all the work. It's this attention to details and security that make Harley-Davidson® motorcycle unique.Authentic StylingProject RUSHMORE - Styling: Project RUSHMORE is the journey we set out on to take our touring motorcycles to places never imagined before – to turn all the possibilities for what a motorcycle can be now into true Milwaukee steel. Now we’re just doing it on a completely different level.Restyled Fairing and Front Fender: Let’s start with this: When you see the iconic shape of a Harley-Davidson® Batwing fairing coming at you down the road, it leaves no question that you’re looking a machine born in Milwaukee and built for gigantic miles of road. But this is about moving forward. How do you maintain that iconic shape, yet give it a sleeker, more progressive style? The answer is right here. The new Batwing fairing gives you less head buffeting (see comfort section for the full story on that) but also the look that instantly announces “Hey, this is a HARLEY-DAVIDSON® motorcycle. Of course, we didn’t stop at the fairing. The fairing lowers and Tour-Pak® luggage carrier got a sleeker new look to match. And we worked over the front fender, too – with a clean new look that’s cut back to expose more of the wheel and tire. It all comes together for a look that’s totally new, yet instantly familiar. Welcome to the next generation of Harley-Davidson touring motorcycles.New Inner Fairing Design: Put your eye to the inner fairing of the Ultra Limited and you’ll see a whole new layout to greet the eye. There’s a bigger display screen (see the whole story in the infotainment section). The gauges have been given a new treatment, too. You’ll notice a 10 percent larger viewing area, wider, taller numbers sitting on top of that classic black background. The information gets bigger and better too. There’s a gear indicator for all six gears and the display area, which can now be operated by an extremely convenient trigger switch, puts more information at your fingertips. The temperature and fuel gauge are larger too. When you’re on the road, one quick glance tells you everything you need to know.Gloss Black Inner Fairing: A premium gloss black finish comes standard on the Ultra Limited. It's there because on a bike like this one, you can't help but go the extra mile.New Tank And Fender Badges: This isn’t just a motorcycle. It’s a work of art, born out of passion, creativity and long days, late nights and refusing to be satisfied until every detail was perfect. When we added the signature, we did it with metal. Nothing else would be right on this masterpiece.New Airbox: Our design philosophy can be summed up pretty simply: form follows function, but both report to emotion. This new airbox is a prime example of that. It’s the most functional airbox we’ve ever put on a Harley-Davidson® touring bike. It let’s the engine breathe better for more power, but it’s also designed to give you more leg room and provide better airflow around the rider. Emotion? That’s the part you feel when you look at it sitting right at the center of your V-Twin engine.Bullet Turn Signals: We went end to end and top to bottom to give the 2014 Harley-Davidson® Touring line-up the clean, tight, sharp, iconic look and feel that is only befitting of the next generation of our motorcycles. The finishing touch – bullet turn signals. Sleek and modern, yet a timeless classic.17" Impeller® Front Wheel with New Brake Rotor: Sitting out front on the Ultra Limited you’ll notice a 17-inch cast aluminum, 10-spoke Impeller wheel. In the back you’ve got a 16-inch Impeller to match. There are new brake rotors designed to show off more of the premium custom look of the wheels. Because if you’re going to go this far, you might as well take it all the way.Classic Fuel Tank: Part of the unmistakable style of the Harley-Davidson® Ultra Limited motorcycle is plenty of room for showing off your paint. This classically styled, bold six-gallon fuel tank doesn't just give you a bigger canvas for premium or custom paint; it holds six gallons of go so you can eat up a lot more road between pit stops. We know fuel economy is important—but so is style. A dual-color paint scheme, crisp pinstripes that run the length of the bike and special Harley-Davidson® tank medallions give this ride a one-of-a-kind look.ComfortProject RUSHMORE - Comfort: We dialed in the comfort of our machines the hard way: over thousands of miles in all kinds of riding conditions on every kind of street, road and highway ever laid down in pavement. Experienced riders and passengers putting in long hours in the saddle and giving us feedback on every aspect that contributes to comfort on the road. Airflow, heat management, passenger space, back rests, seat textures, leg room and hand controls all went under the hard microscope of the road and got tested and re-tested by real riders and worked and re-worked by us until we were satisfied we had built the most comfortable machines on the road. We all want to go farther, and when you and your passenger are more comfortable in the saddle, you can.New Fairing Lowers: There’s no such thing as a minor irritation when you’re going to be experiencing it for tens of thousands of miles. The little things make a difference. Like the way the wind comes around your fairing lowers. We’ve got the new fairing lowers dialed in just right, thanks to more wind tunnel and real world riding tests than we’ve ever done before. And the vents open with one touch when the going gets hot. You’ll appreciate them more with each passing mile.Newly Designed Back and Arm Rests: If you really want to know what makes a passenger comfortable, you start by asking people who’ve seen a good part of the world from the back of a bike. You run thousands of miles of road tests in heat, cold, sun, and rain. You use their input to perfect the height, the width, the shape, the contour, the texture of the leather, the lumbar support. You install controls that can be easily reached and operated with one hand. What you end up with is the back and arm rests you’re looking at right here. Passengers love them like they’re their own babies, because in a manner of speaking, they are.Standard Cruise Control: Installing cruise control is standard operating procedure on the new touring models because riding long stretches of unbroken highway is standard operating procedure among touring riders. Electronic throttle control means no cable cluttering up your handlebar. And the switches are placed where you can easily dial in your speed with your left thumb, give the wrist a break, and keep hauling on down the road.Full-Length Footboards & Toe/Heel Gear Shifts: Your boots were made for riding—any way you see fit. It might take a few rides, but once you've gotten used to the smooth shifting rhythm, you'll never give it up.Heated Hand Grips: When the chill gets at you, just having a little heat would be nice enough. But this is a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle and we're all about the details. Our heated handgrips have six settings, so you can easily adjust on the fly for the heat you need with the versatility and control you come to depend on.Wide Set Handlebar: Classic style and maximum comfort. That's the perfect balance of the wide set handlebars that come standard on the Ultra Limited model. They're designed to keep you comfortably propped in a commanding position while making sure your neck muscles stay calm and relaxed mile after mile, state after state. Durable stainless steel insures the structural rigidity you expect from a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle with the deep, lustrous finish you desire.Increased Passenger Seat Space and Leg Room: Here's a message for all passengers: Your time in the saddle just got better. That goes quadruple when you’re 1000 miles into the ride of a lifetime making the final leg of the day to get to the hot tub and relax for the evening. Because the longer the ride, the more you'll appreciate the improvements we made. This year the passenger pillion is one inch wider and one inch longer. We moved the saddlebag guards for more leg room. And we put 2 more inches of room between the speakers. It all adds up to a ride that provides best-in-class comfort.ConvenienceProject RUSHMORE - Convenience: If you want the ride to be truly epic, you have to sweat bullets to make the little things work exactly right. This is what Project RUSHMORE was all about. Now you have saddlebags and Tour-Pak® luggage carriers that can be easily opened with one hand. And new removable Travel Bags are standard. Welcome to the next level of the bagger.New Tour-Pak® Design: Like the new saddlebags, the new Tour-Pak® luggage carrier design is sporting a sleeker new look, but it didn’t come at the expense of storage space. They’re bigger inside than ever and can easily accommodate two full-face helmets. There’s a new document and toolkit pouch. The lock is integrated into the latch to keep your key away from your premium paint. And new premium hinges that work better and look sharper. You can operate the single latch with one hand. Storage. Check. We have it covered.Push Button Fuel door: One button, one touch, fuel door open. Any questions?New Standard Battery Charging Harness: No question a battery charging harness is a must have on a motorcycle. Now it’s standard. So you don’t have to waste even the ten minutes it takes to install one on some sunny Saturday when you could be riding.DimensionsLength: 102.4 in. (2,600 mm)Seat Height, Laden: 27.3 in. Description Just in! Must see! 2015 Harley-Davidson Dyna Street BobClassic bobber style rides into the modern era.Key Features may include:Fuel Tank Medallions When it comes to motorcycles, there's one name that people will never mistake for another: Harley-Davidson. The Street Bob model features cast fuel tank medallions with classic styling that oozes the iconic Harley-Davidson attitude. Consider it your badge of honor bolted on the side of the fuel tank so everyone can see exactly how you roll.Mini Ape-Hanger Handlebar Grab hold of the stainless steel mini ape-hanger handlebar and put your fists way into the wind. The style is pure post-war bobbers, and we keep it clean and minimalist by routing the wires inside the steel. We've rubber-isolated the bars with separate risers and blacked out top triple clamps, so you can ride more comfortably, with less vibration, and can accessorize with less hassle.Stop-Turn-Tail Lights Old-school looks meet new-school engineering. Minimalist chrome retro-style bullet taillights combine functionality to work twice as hardstop beams and running lights plus turn indicators in two low-profile rear lamps.Six-Speed Cruise Drive Transmission You want a ride that rumblesnot begs for mercywhen you lean on it a little. The Six-Speed Cruise Drive transmission provides smooth, quiet shifting and reduces engine speed on the highway, so you get a better match between engine turnover and road speed. It's a rare ride when a bike responds like this, and a low growl goes a long way when you're opening up the road ahead.Twin Cam 103 Engine Heritage The knowledge of what makes an engine truly move a rider runs deep at The Motor Company, and it was put to good use when we created the Twin Cam 103 engine. We sweated bullets perfecting every cubic inch, pushing design and technology forward. And we did it all without compromising one bit of Harley-Davidson's unique styling. Evolved, yet carrying on the legacy of the Flathead, Knucklehead, Panhead, Shovelhead, Evolution and Twin Cam 88 and Twin Cam 96 engines that came before. The performance and durability are a direct result of the untold miles logged on the V-Twin since 1909 and the proud heritage that comes from a century's worth of commitment to life on two wheels.Adjustable Suspension Easily adjust preload with a spanner wrench to suit your suspension to your riding style. The slammed low rear suspension gives you a more laid-back riding position and style. Low-profile, kicked back for profiling down the boulevard and hugging corners.Michelin Scorcher Tires Michelin Scorcher tires provide the superior performance, sensational grip, impressive durability and excellent handling expected on a race-bred bike. The exclusive deep-cut tread design improves grip and water evacuation capability. Grip performance and durability is also enhanced by the tire's rubber compounds, which use the latest generation of Michelin synthetic polymers.Pure Blacked Out Styling Feast your eyes on the Twin Cam 103 engine and theres no mistaking its roots. From the classic edge of the cooling fins to the clean lines of cases and covers, this is authentic Harley-Davidson style through and through with an attention to detail you wont find from any other motorcycle company. The finish features a blacked-out powertrain, a gloss black battery cover and textured wrinkle-black rockers with highlighted fins. Its pure, minimal styling that makes an elemental statement about holding to whats right and staying true to what satisfies.
