I have a 1979 Kawasaki KZ650 SR with 51xx miles for sale. She runs great, just got it back from the shop today, it had a ton of work done including,Carbs cleanedNew plugsOil/oil filter changeK&n filter Chain adjustedClutch adjustedFront and rear brake flushReplaced fuel lines and added in line filterIt has a 4 into 1 kerker exhaust which sounds mean. It has a rattle can paint job, has a ratty look to it but could easily be changed into a cafe racer or back to 100% original. All side cover pieces are present also. Comes with original tool kit and owners manual. Clean title in hand, bike is currently insured and registered and I use it several times a week. It's ready for a new owner to jump on and take off. This motorcycle is in remarkable condition considering it is a 1976 model. The only blemish is a dent on the left side of the tank that occurred when the owner left the bike parked and returned to find the bike had fallen over. When recently removed from storage the bike started up when a new battery was put in, but one carb float appears to be stuck and the new owner will have to sort the stuck float out. A Hayden oil cooler was installed when the bike was new, and is the only modification to the bike. The bike was last ridden in 1989 and has been in shop storage, covered and with fuel removed. The bike was purchased new by the current owners best friend and then shortly thereafter sold to the current owner. Never in a accident or raced or abused in any way with the one exception mentioned.
