Nice clean 30 year old future classic. Runs as good as it looks, valves adjusted about a year ago. Starts, runs, idles with no issues , no noises, smells, oil leaks, or smoke. All gauges, lights, and horn work as they should. I've been religious with starting the bike every month, but unfortunately rarely gets ridden, and when it does its usually just around the neighborhood. Exterior shows well, and overall the bike looks quite amazing for being 30 years old. The bike grabs lots of attention with it's signature red white, blue and gets complimented quite often. Classic 1986 Honda Interceptor VFR700, very smooth V4 motor with a real distinctive growl even stock as this one is. It has a six speed gearbox and plently of power to rival bikes even made yet today. The bike is adult owned and maintained extremely well as the photos show. It is garage kept, and it has a recent valve adjustment, new gold chain, all new brake pads, fork seals, spark plugs, tires, battery. 500 miles on its latest oil change. Just renewed PA state inspection. The bike is very tight, it rides like its new. Has the rare Hondaline solo seat cowl. The bike has just under 22,000 miles on it, but I ride it off and on so the mileage may increase slightly before the bike sells. This is a very nostalgic machine, still in gorgeous condition, since I have owned it numerous bike enthusiast have commented "classic Interceptor" or "WOW its the the original", as you just dont see almost any of these in this year and color scheme any longer, most of them have been wrecked then horribly repainted, or became parts bikes, This model/color scheme was remade in the modern version of Interceptor a few years back as a commerative edition. I have owned this bike for 3 years and it has started for me every time I hit the button. The overall condition of the bike is good for a 30 year old bike. The paint is faded a little bit and a few dings and scratches all consistent with a bike of this age. It has a super nice custom seat and supertrapp exhaust. The bike also comes with the original seat. The tires on the bike are like brand new and all lights and gauges work. The only reason I'm selling is that I just bought a v65 magna and I only need one bike. I rode it 200 miles in one day earlier this spring so it has been nothing but reliable for me. This is a very clean VFR. It only has 14,XXX original miles. It is completely stock. No modifications. It was in storage for quite a while with the carbs drained. I just installed a new battery and added fuel on 6/20/15 and it starts and runs great. The tires are pretty new too. It doesn't have the usual cracks around the mirrors as you can see. I’m selling my 1985 Honda Vf700f Interceptor with 38,262 miles, it had 36,263 miles when I purchased it. I bought it back in 2012 and rode it for a few seasons, in that time I replaced the clutch and did an oil change. I used it as a commuter, in my care the bike has never been dropped or raced. The bike has been sitting in storage for the last year. It starts and runs strong, the carb needs to be tuned, because the bike will only stay running with the choke is on. The front and rear tires will need to be replaced. Back in the 80’s Honda put an air ride rear shock and air ride forks that were notorious for leaking and this bike is no exception. The bike is in very good condition for being 30 years old, it has some surface rust, scratches and a few paint chips. The bike originally had the red, white and blue paint scheme, but the previous owner painted it the metallic blue you see in the pictures.
