This motorcycle runs fine and has some custom parts. Great for a student or soldier, etc. for better mpg.(45 mpg.). The starter is brand new rebuilt, new remanufactured (4) inline Mikuni carburetors, new spark plug wires and spark plugs, shaft drive, 6 speed transmission, hydraulic front brakes and hydraulic clutch lever, brand new rebuilt clutch, new mirrors, new diamond pattern hand grips, brand new front tire, new paint/primer works and new battery. It will need a choke lever gear later (a low cost part), but has a manual choke that works fine. It has 33,000+ miles, no oil leaks and oil cooled and compression in cylinders tested above specifications standards. 86 cb700sc for sale. I bought this bike this winter on an impulse because these bikes are becoming increasingly hard to find. The bike has 27xxx miles (actual) on it the gauges have been rebuilt. The windscreen is currently off the bike it's in rough condition, but will go with it along with some extra gauge parts. The seat has a few rips.The bike runs very well. although the carbs should be gone though this bike was road all last summer but has been sitting all winter. 1985 Nighthawk S CB700SC I searched three years to find a Nighthawk S in this good of condition. I have owned the bike for about five years and it is in great condition with approximately 25,450 miles and the original black chrome exhaust. New Dunlop tires, brakes are in good condition, no leaks, everything is functional, no scratches or dents, fresh oil change (I have extra filters for it also). The bike is ready to be ridden and in fact it is such a good bike I would be confident to get on it and ride it coast to coast. The Nighthawk S has an interesting history. In Europe and Canada the Nighthawk S was a 750. In the 80s in an effort to help Harley Davidson the government placed a tarriff on bikes 701cc and over. So Honda lessened the stroke to make it a a 700cc bike. The Nighthawk S was the hot rod of motorcycles and has a really cool classic stance. I have enjoyed the bike and lived my high school dream of riding a Nighthawk S and now it is time to pass her on to fulfill someone else's dream. I do not need to sell the bike so please no low ball offers. I am not interested in trading it for anything. Thank you for looking.

1986 Honda Cb 700SC NIGHTHAWK, I am selling my 1986 Honda CB700sc "Nighthawk S". All stock, excellent condition. 13,600 miles. No mods. The only add-ons are a custom-made rear rack (rare) and a pigtail to the battery for a trickle charger (and a Slipstreamer clamp-on windscreen which I am keeping), easily removed to return to all stock. This is the last year (84-86) that these great bikes were imported. 700cc in line 4, shaft drive, UJM standard. Recent maintenance in the past 12 months include new tires front and rear, synthetic oil change, brake fluid and gear oil change. New fork seals. Starts and runs well. Battery is strong. This bike needs nothing. The bad? Very little. Small scuff on side on fairing, small rock chips down low. The PO JB-welded one of the mounting tabs on the back of the side covers to reinforce it, and it appears touched up the paint on the side cover. Well done and not noticeable from 5 feet. But I am being picky. It would take very little to make this a show bike. Reason for sale is I have only put 700 miles on it since owning it. This is too nice of a bike to leave sitting, and I will not ride this rare bike on dirt roads / forest service roads where I do most of my riding. Located in SW Colorado / Durango. 1984 Honda CB700SC Nighthawk 700 S, An American Hot Rod - Honda marketed the CB700SC (also called Nighthawk 700S) in the US from 1984 to 1986, configuring the bike's specification to avoid a 1983 US tariff on motorcycles over 700 cc. Motorcycle Classics magazine dubbed the CB700SC Nighthawk 700 S "An American Hot Rod." The Nighthawk S features a 700 cc engine, shaft drive and hydraulic lifters in a bike with angular lines, a small "bikini" fairing and a 16-inch front wheel more typical of a sport bike. The exhaust is a four-into-two finished in black chrome. The engine is enameled mostly in black with brushed satin silver trim. Other components are also enameled in black including the lower fork legs, handlebars, and rear grab rails. 28,264 miles on the clock. 95% Original. Not pristine, but very clean.
