You are looking at a NEW 2014 Yamaha WR250R DUAL-PURPOSE Motorcycle ~ Blue/White ~ 1 Year Warranty ~QUESTIONS PLEASE CONTACT RICH or JAMIE AT (920) 682-1284~Come see our great selection of Brand New bikes! THE WORLD BEGINS WHEN THE PAVEMENT ENDS.The WR250R offers the best of both worlds, a light and nimble aluminum frame, a powerful liquid-cooled engine with titanium valves, and long travel suspension for off road adventures. Plus, all the equipment to make your on-road travels more than just a commute. Add in high-end components and you have one of the most advanced 250 cubic centimeter dual purpose bikes on the market. Standard FeaturesKey Features Directly descended from our YZ motocrossers and WR off-road machines, the WR250R is here to make Yamaha’s off-road prowess street accessible. Not exactly an enduro model and not a street bike either, the WR250R is for riders who ride off-road more than on. Engine 250 cc liquid-cooled, DOHC engine with two titanium intake valves and two steel exhausts, forged piston and plated cylinder for outstanding durability. Pentroof combustion chamber with downdraft-type straight intake helps make excellent power across the rev band, with maximum power at 10,000 rpm. First use of fuel injection on a 250 Yamaha on / off-road bike. The system relies on input from a crank sensor, intake air pressure sensor and throttle position sensor feeding a compact ECU to provide optimum combustion. An ECU-controlled EXUP® exhaust valve, along with an electronic intake control valve, broadens the powerband. High lift cams have WPC surface treatment in which the surface is sprayed with fine powder at over 100 meters per second to increase surface hardness. Three-axis engine layout keeps the engine compact. Wet sump tucks between frame rails to keep the engine height down. Rare earth-type ACM alternator keeps the weight down while providing all the current needed to run the FI and lighting systems. Direct ignition coil sits atop the spark plug—another first on a Yamaha on-off road model. Six-speed gearbox provides a wide spread of ratios, with shower-type lubrication for reliability. A special light-action clutch makes shifting a snap. Tucked-in, three-chamber muffler helps keep mass centralized and the bike quiet. Electric start only: Leaving off the kickstarter keeps it light and simple. Chassis / Suspension YZ / WR250-inspired semi-double-cradle frame uses a main frame of cast and forged aluminum sections, with high-strength steel downtubes for excellent strength and rigidity characteristics. Asymmetrical swingarm provides excellent strength / rigidity balance and a dynamic look. Cast aluminum crossmembers, extruded arms and a 22 mm rear axle are carefully tuned for optimum handling. Fully adjustable 46 mm fork provides 10.6 inches of wheel travel. A forged lower triple clamp and a cast upper one help give outstanding front-end feel. An aluminum steering stem reduces weight. Linkage-mounted rear shock provides 10.6 inches of travel with adjusters for compression damping, rebound damping and spring preload—and features a 14 mm rod and 46 mm cylinder for excellent damping and fade resistance. Wave brake rotors front and rear, including a large 250 mm front disc, reduce unsprung weight and provide excellent performance. Rear pedal is forged aluminum. Additional Features A slim, steel fuel tank is shaped with knee grip in mind, and the entire ergonomic layout is designed to make the rider feel like part of the bike. Narrow, YZ-inspired seat features gripper-type cover for great seat-of-the-pants feel. Seat height is 36.6 inches. WR enduro-style instrument panel provides excellent visibility in spite of the compact size. Basic mode provides speed, clock, tripmeter and self-diagnostic function. Measurement mode includes stopwatch, distance-compensating tripmeter, etc. Minimalist front and rear fenders are designed for function, simplicity, and lightness. Bodywork with separate radiator heat outlet helps keep engine and rider cool. Lightweight headlight and LED taillight maximize visibility and draw less current. Adjustable front brake lever. * * * This bikes two Cousins (also cosmetically restored by us in our shop) that were Just Featured at the "WORLDS LARGEST MOTORCYCLE SHOW" In our"Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Clubs" Booth ! * * Please see pictures below * * ! ! ......YES ! As of the last couple of days for the first time in Decades ...This AMAZING Vintage Bike is "Now Running" I have driven her up & down my black about 10+ times in the last day or two !!!!! "HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE THIS VINTAGE EXAMPLE of Classic Motorcycle History ..."EYE CANDY' ....IN YOUR GARAGE" ! * * * I will have a Video in the next day or two if you email me your direct email site I will email you the UTUBE Video link Please Do Not Bid on this item until you have read the auction in it's Entirety (IE) When You Bid you are entering a Legal Contract & not being responsible just ruins it for everyone involved in this auction...Thank You. * * Also, I am unsure of the exact year of this Wonderful bike but I can tell you with Great Certainty it is either a 1969 or a 1970 SUZUKI TS 250 ENDURO * * These early TS 250 SUZUKI's are very Rare & unfortunately all of the serial number guide web sites only cover the more common 1970-1971 & up year Suzuki's Vintage ~ 1969 -70 Suzuki 250 cc T.S. "SAVAGE" ENDURO bike (Very Similar to the Original 1968-71 YAMAHA 250 DT-1 ENDURO). These are Original TS 250 SUZUKI's are becoming Very Hard to find these days !!! ...as most people are just not selling them out of their Vintage Bike Collections & Nice Examples of these are very rarely coming up for sale. Very complete Vintage "TS 250" ENDURO, project with a nice Fresh cosmetic Restoration (IE) most all of the main components of the bike were removed down to nearly her bare frame (IE) front & rear Wheels, tires, engine, oil & gas tanks ,seat air box etc etc) most everything was cleaned repainted & re installed. I think this bike is still fairly Original (IE) She has her: original Metal Airbox,, Frame , Swing Arm, Forks, Exhaust Muffler with Heat Shield , Headlight, Tail Light and & original Seat base (with Brand New foam & New upholstery), Original Gas tank & even her Original Oil tank. Also, present are a Suzuki Tachometer & Speedometer (I do not have the drive cables, should be available on ebay etc) This beautiful Bikes Mileage may not be accurate for this bike as like the head & tail lights, the Speedo & Tach gauges were off the bike & in a box when I got them. .It has her Original Suzuki 250 Gas Tank & Oil Tank Gold & Chrome Gas Tank & Oil Tank Metal Bright work Badges, Factory SUZUKI Chrome Forks , & she even her Fork Dampener, original swing arm, +FAR superior updated "BOGE" Rear Shocks, and Brand New HUGE 460 X 18" "TRAIL WINNER" Dual sport Rear Tire. She appears to have her main Original wire loom that runs from the engine to up under the fuel tank, However, she was last purposed as a Off Road bike. When new did the Cosmetic restoration as detailed above & below ) I re-installed the lights etc that were given to me in a box from the prior owner. so at this time they are present & installed on the bike but are not electrically connected , the main wire loom looks to be their & she has her lighting stator (altinator) & the switching & wire in in the laft portion of the handlebar . She has TS 250 Tachometer and Speedometer Gadges are possible slightly newer TS 250 & she will need the cables to connect them if that is something you want to do.. . The kick starter works & also, engine turns over well + she has good Compression, however I have not tried to start her. (I am guessing she may have a lose connection or a faulty coil ?) Otherwise, it is my guess that she would start up.. Unfortunately, at this time we lost our storage and I am now in a position I need to make room here as soon as possible. Also, She has a updated ~New chain, updated Front Fender, new unbreakable rear fender. basically at this point ...She just needs some fairly Minor finishing touches. * * I was told these Early TS 250's can NADA value guide up to just under ~ $6,000.00 You can Steal this Beauty for a small fraction of that. So ..Please, No Low Ball offers This is a No Brainer Deal on a True Classic & Very RARE & Very Beautiful + Very Collectable Vintage Historic Motorcycle (Again, These are becoming Very hard to find these days !!! Again, Please No Low Ball offers. ...As I have a lot of Time & Effort into this Wonderful Classic Bike.. These Wonderful Early Classic Vintage TS 250 cc ENDURO's are: Fairly Light Weight , Very Nimble, Very Quick & Very Well Balanced + Very "FUN" + Super Easy to Ride ...So when You get this Beauty all worked out & Running & ready to run down the Highway again... In Fact When I am sitting on this beauty I am only ~ " from the ground. the seat ...& Static (without the riders weight on the seat) ...the seat is around " from the ground ...Either way this Wonderful bikes seat is Extremely Low for a Bike With anywhere near ~Super Bike Level of fun & Classic Styling ! ! ! * * Please Note * * Recently (December 2013) this auctions bikes' cousins (IE) that were also built by us) the other Two of our bikes a 1978 RM SUZUKI 250 (Yellow) & also our ELSINORE CR 250 (Green / Aluminum) we Displayed at the "WORLDS LARGEST" MOTORCYCLE SHOW" (the Los Angeles Cycle World / Progressive Motorcycle Show, (Los Angeles, California Area)..in Our "Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Clubs" Booth earlier (December 6, 7 & 8th 2013). Look to the right of the 3rd pictures which shows a Local Los Angeles TV News Crew interviewing Out VGMC Clubs President (in the Red & White Shirt) on the Shows Opening day ! ! ! PLEASE NOTE: Over the last three years we have shown "EIGHT" Vintage Motorcycles at this Show alone. > PLEASE NOTE:Above are 4 Pictures are not of this auctions bike but are of this bikes 2 cousins (IE) two other bikes we also built & restored our other Vintage Racing: the (Yellow) 1978 SUZUKI RM 250's & the (Aluminum & Green) Vintage CR Elsinore 250 Vintage Race bike (Dec. 2013) we Displayed at the "WORLDS LARGEST" MOTORCYCLE SHOW" (the Cycle World / Progressive Motorcycle Show, (Los Angeles, California area)..in Our "Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Clubs" Booth earlier (December 7-8-9th 2013). Also, The White & Black Suzuki Road Racer at the end of he row next to our VJMC clubs sign (3 bikes to the right of our yelow 250 RM Suzuki)... was one of two bikes of it's Exact type in Existence and I was told by most everyone there that it was Pretty much "Priceless" !
