Selling a nice clean vintage 1974 Honda MR50 Elsinore kids minibike. This is a neat little vintage machine that appears to be in great original condition. I dont know a ton about the MR50, but I was told this was all original. Sold with a bill of sale only. Not registered in the state of CA. I bought it to ride back and fourth to my mailbox. I have had it for about 2 years and it runs well. Tank and seat are in great shape for the bikes age. I think its all original, right down to grips, but I am not an expert on the MR 50's. The plastic is in great shape but has normal scuffing from age. Please look closely at the pics. I would not call it mint, but I would call it a very clean rider. Everything is straight, bars, levers, pegs. The brake lever tip is broke off, but its a clean break. This is a cool bike because it is both a two stroke AND it has a working clutch. All the other Honda mini's are four strokes and automatic. This would make a great addition to your collection or use as a pit bike or a rider. What you need to know: This Honda CRF450X was purchased brand new in April 2008. This motorcycle has never been crashed / wrecked / damaged in ANY way ( except for some very minor scratches from tree branches ). Radiators are straight and true. Rims are scratch free. As a matter of fact, this dirt bike has never really been " dirty ". The kick starter has been used once . After decades of kick starting my bikes, electric start is a luxury addition that you miss when you jump on a 450 four stroke that does not have it. ( and a kick stand! ). On a motocross track you just pull into the pits, out in the woods you learn to stop next to a tree without the tripod. Needless to say, this engine starts instantly and runs flawlessly. Only the finest Honda oil ( HP4 & HP ) has been used for engine and transmission use. Oil changed every year despite usage. Oil is cheap compared to engines. As Indy said to Marion in Raiders of the Lost Ark, " It's not the years, it's the MILEAGE ". And this Honda has rolled VERY few. Less then three hours of use. The odometer reads 35.7 and has never been reset. What is not to love here. This is a premier, top of the line, electric start 450 brute that has fans all over the world. I can give you links to numerous magazine articles and tests that tell the story of this amazing Honda. It is a big comfy battle wagon that can blast an ear to ear grin on your face real fast. IF you have the skill set, you could take this bike and go win a regional Hare Scramble or Enduro next weekend. This bike has the goods. It is one of the only off-road bikes that Dirt Bike Magazine editors say you can ride right out of the box with no modifications necessary. Box stock it is a very capable off road mount. Hand guards can be installed before delivery if needed. Look at the pictures. Check out the pristine driveline, DID O-Ring chain with no master link, you have probably never seen a chain this clean on a used bike. Zero dirt / rust / well lubed with aerospace lubricant ( Dupont Krytox, it was even used on the Lunar Rover ). This chain has never had to be adjusted. Brakes, the OEM pads have next to zero wear. 1) One owner, all original, extremely low hours, extremely well cared for. New battery installed with battery charger pigtail to make it easy to hook up your battery charger between rides. Fuel tank and carb were drained regularly to prevent " bad gas " problems. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Words to live by with dirt bikes. Coolant recently flushed and replaced. Front and rear brake systems flushed and bled. Engine / Transmission / oil changed plus filter for engine. Spokes were all checked, tire pressure set. ( These are little things, but most sellers are just ready to get rid of their bike and rarely think of the new owner. And as the new owner, you do not want to spend money or time to repair / adjust / tune up your new bike, you want to start riding! 2) Peace of Mind: Certificate of Origin not only proves provenance, you know it is not stolen. But ALSO, if you live in a TITLE state such as Florida, with this document you will have zero problems obtaining documentation to legally ride on state lands. Having this document adds value, and will continue to add value when and if the new owner ever sells. Also you are getting the Honda Factory Service Manual and the separate Owners Manual. 3) The condition of the bike. Pictures do not do this baby justice, but I believe a potential buyer can see that this is an EXCEPTIONAL Honda that has been babied and barely ridden. This is just short of buying a brand new bike, if you can live with some minor scratches from tree branches you will save thousands of dollars. 4) Honda has not changed this model. It has the 2.8L V6 that came in the Fiero GT but it has had some work done to it and has a considerable amount of extra power. This car is a blast to drive with the 5-Speed Manual Transmission, wide body kit, and the upgraded suspension package. It's as close as you can get besides buying the real thing. This car is a 1 Owner Car that only has 71K Original Miles and has been very well cared for over the years. I talked to the previous owner and he barely drove the car around for years and then started putting the conversion kit on and spent of $45K Plus Countless Hours in making this car what it is today. The wood pieces on the doors have flaked a bit more over time and you may just do them and leave the rest.. See Video No biggie just its old paint and Someday will need redone but as you can See it looks GREAT! This car does have a convertible top that is easy to take up and down it has a few small tears in in and also one on the rear window . It has a hard shell to cover the convertible top when it is down as well. It has the flip up headlights and everything. I love the Ferrari wheels that are on this car. It really gives this car the look it needs. The tires are a nice set of Goodyear that I would say have at least 80% tread left. These are great tires that have a lot of miles left on them. It has a nice aftermarket CD Player and a Disc Changer controller mounted in the drivers door. The way the stereos were mounted they had the backs removed to make it possible to mount in the door. This makes a mess of wires tucked away and I would Change it somehow. Sounds awesome and CD Changer works but i blew a fuse or something wont power on now so I am not sure. There are speakers mounted everywhere and the music sounds great even 10" Subs behind the seats and Amps. This car is completely custom inside and out and you won't find another car like it. This car is sweet and a 1 of a kind. Everything on this car was converted. There are Misc things to do to its and thats why it is so cheap I do not have the time. The Italian State Police run a fleet of these rugged, highly engineered folding scooters for urban patrol and helicopter ground support. If it meets their demands you know it is high quality. This scooter would be right at home in large (or small) American cities and a perfect commuter. When at your destination, fold it, pick it up and carry it up stairs, then stash it in your office or front closet. It does not smell nasty or LEAK ANY GAS even when stored on it's side. No battery needed to start it and it will run for weeks on a tank of gas. The only maintenance is airing up the tires every now and then - that's IT! I would estimate fuel mileage is 100 mpg. Simply mix a couple of ounces of synthetic two stroke oil with gas right in the tank for clean running. No insurance or license plate, registration, taxes, fees, helmet or even a driver's license is needed since it is not a "motor vehicle" at 49ccs. If it was 50cc it would be! This scooter has been in ARIZONA and that means NO corrosion due to our exceptionally dry air. This car does have a convertible top that is easy to take up and down it has a few small tears in in and also one on the rear window . It has a hard shell to cover the convertible top when it is down as well. It has the flip up headlights and everything. I love the Ferrari wheels that are on this car. It really gives this car the look it needs. The tires are a nice set of Goodyear that I would say have at least 80% tread left. These are great tires that have a lot of miles left on them. It has a nice aftermarket CD Player and a Disc Changer controller mounted in the drivers door. The way the stereos were mounted they had the backs removed to make it possible to mount in the door. This makes a mess of wires tucked away and I would Change it somehow. Sounds awesome and CD Changer works but i blew a fuse or something wont power on now so I am not sure. There are speakers mounted everywhere and the music sounds great even 10" Subs behind the seats and Amps. This car is completely custom inside and out and you won't find another car like it. Someone spent a lot of time and money making this car an exact replica and it shows. This car is completely custom and you have to look twice to know that it's not the real thing. It has the 2.8L V6 that came in the Fiero GT but it has had some work done to it and has a considerable amount of extra power. This car is a blast to drive with the 5-Speed Manual Transmission, wide body kit, and the upgraded suspension package. It's as close as you can get besides buying the real thing. This car is a 1 Owner Car that only has 71K Original Miles and has been very well cared for over the years. I talked to the previous owner and he barely drove the car around for years and then started putting the conversion kit on and spent of $45K Plus Countless Hours in making this car what it is today. Under the hood and undercarriage is clean and dry as can be. Make sure you watch the video I do a complete walk around of the car inside and out and even take it for a test drive.This is a 1 Owner Car that ONLY has 71K Original Miles The exterior of this car is beautiful. The paint is a very nice and expensive paint that has a very nice shine to it and almost looks wet in the right kind of light. This car does have a convertible top that is easy to take up and down. It has a hard shell to cover the convertible top when it is down as well. It has the flip up headlights and everything. I love the Ferrari wheels that are on this car. It really gives this car the look it needs. The tires are a nice set of Goodyear that I would say have at least 80% tread left. These are great tires that have a lot of miles left on them. There is also a lot of switches and a lot of them I'm not sure exactly what they do and havent tested them all. It has a nice aftermarket CD Player and a Disc Changer controller mounted in the drivers door. The way the stereos were mounted they had the backs removed to make it possible to mount in the door. This makes a mess of wires tacked away but I would Change it somehow. Sounds awesome ad CD Changer works but i blew a fuse or something wont power on now. There are speakers mounted everywhere and the music sounds great. This car is completely custom inside and out and you won't find another car like it. This car is sweet and a 1 of a kind. Someone spent a lot of time and money making this car an exact replica and it shows. This car is completely custom and you have to look twice to know that it's not the real thing. It has the 2.8L V6 that came in the Fiero GT but it has had some work done to it and has a considerable amount of extra power. This car is a blast to drive with the 5-Speed Manual Transmission, wide body kit, and the upgraded suspension package. It's as close as you can get besides buying the real thing. This car is a 1 Owner Car that only has 71K Original Miles and has been very well cared for over the years. I talked to the previous owner and he barely drove the car around for years and then started putting the conversion kit on and spent of $45K Plus Countless Hours in making this car what it is today. Under the hood and undercarriage is clean and dry as can be. Make sure you watch the video I do a complete walk around of the car inside and out and even take it for a test drive.This is a 1 Owner Car that ONLY has 71K Original Miles The exterior of this car is beautiful. The paint is a very nice and expensive paint that has a very nice shine to it and almost looks wet in the right kind of light. This car does have a convertible top that is easy to take up and down. It has a hard shell to cover the convertible top when it is down as well. It has the flip up headlights and everything. I love the Ferrari wheels that are on this car. It really gives this car the look it needs. The tires are a nice set of Goodyear that I would say have at least 80% tread left. These are great tires that have a lot of miles left on them. There is also a lot of switches and a lot of them I'm not sure exactly what they do and havent tested them all. It has a nice aftermarket CD Player and a Disc Changer controller mounted in the drivers door. The way the stereos were mounted they had the backs removed to make it possible to mount in the door. This makes a mess of wires tacked away but I would Change it somehow. Sounds awesome ad CD Changer works but i blew a fuse or something wont power on now. There are speakers mounted everywhere and the music sounds great. This car is completely custom inside and out and you won't find another car like it. This car is sweet and a 1 of a kind.
