1987 Suzuki Quadracer 500, Hard to find and fast, VERY FAST! The 87's have more power than any others model because they have the 6-bolt heads with the big reed 5-bolt intakes. This one has been ridden for sure but it's been a long time. I'm the second owner, and it's in decent condition (garaged) and has all original parts. Needs a new crank which I have but it's not installed. I'll throw in some spare parts I have uninstalled too. IMO this is the BEST quad ever made - killing me to let it go but need the money (so, yeah, no trades). Pretty hard to find. The Suzuki LT500R "QuadRacer" is more commonly known as "Quadzilla"and was offered only during the 1987 through 1990. Standard LT500R specs include: High-performance, liquid-cooled, reed-valve, two-stroke engine Suzuki Automatic Exhaust Control (SAEC) power valve for more power at all RPMs Rugged manual clutch and 5-speed, close-ratio, transmission Responsive flat-slide Mikuni carburetor Gear-driven counterbalancer for smooth engine operation Strong, lightweight aluminum rims "T-type" seat for added support when cornering Large, bright 60/55-watt halogen headlight with high and low beams Front shocks feature progressive-rate springs with adjustable preload and 4-way rebound damping adjustment "Full-Floater" rising rate rear suspension with box-type aluminum swing arm, remote gas-charged damper, and adjustable preload, 21-way compression, and 26-way rebound adjustments Aerodynamic fenders $2,800.00
