I'm selling my 2011 Honda CBR250R, gets great gas mileage (77 mpg) and tops out at ~88 mph. Looking to get a bigger bike, barely have driven it and only has 1,530 miles. The bike was purchased in 2011 at Ride Now in Gainesville with an MSRP of $5,218 but the son who bought it got hired at a job far from home in the city and left the bike in his dad's garage for a few years until eventually when the dad was in the process of moving, and cleaning out his garage, his son approved him selling it to me. When I first got it the tires were dried up and the battery had gone bad from sitting for a few years, and I had all that replaced professionally with new OEM items. Its in great condition, the fuel injected engine starts right up even in really cold weather. The oil is always changed at correct intervals, and its had recently replaced OEM front/rear sprockets and chain. I only used it for an occasional weekend drive around town before realizing it isn't the bike for me, being 6'5" I realized I should start on a CBR 600.

It has only 15 miles on the odometer as I never did my motorcycle license and sadly due to my health I don't plan to persue it any more. The motorcycle is still under warranty till spring 2018. It has been always garaged above freezing and has never seen any rain. It is in show room condition. The motorcycle rides great, is very light and can get up to 88 mpg ! It comes with an ABUS disc lock, Held tank and rear bag and an outdoor cover. Vin# JH2HF0317FS006730 Clean title in my name, currently registered(month tag says Aprl, but expires July 8 2015, the DMV did not give me the month tag when I registered it) Guy I bought the bike from said he was the original owner(have not verified that) When I got it, it had 88 tags, and owner said it had been sitting in his garage 27 years(from the layer of dust on it, I'm pretty sure that was accurate) Please see below video of the bike being rode(please forgive the video quality, took it with a I-phone in my shirt pocket) Now the details....Original owner had drained the fuel before storage, and the tank is perfect inside. The front tire has been replaced, the rear tire has some dry rot and needs replacement. The cam plug has been replaced and valve cover resealed(cam plug leaked)New air filterNew plugNew float and carb bowl gasketOil has been changed with Castrol 10-40 motorcycle oilStarts, does not smoke, no oil leaks, runs and rides. Has good power and climbs hills no problem. All the electrics work and wiring harness is unmolested. All the original parts, lights, blinkers, ect, are on the bike. Things that need fixingFuel seeps/slow drip from the accelerator pump cover on carburetor. The accelerator pump diaphragm needs replacement. I have been unable to locate this part.There is a very faint ticking when cold that goes away when warmed up, maybe an exhaust leak/possibly needs a valve adjust, or could be something else, I'm not a motorcycle mechanic, so I don't know for sure.Back tire has dry rot and needs replacementHas one key, if you want a spare, you have to have one madeThe coil/spark plug wire insulation is stiff. Not cracked or arcing, but may need replacement in the near future.It has various scuffs and scratches in the finish, but is in good condition for it's age.
