Awesome survivor low original mileage Honda 500R. Rebuilt top end including new piston and rings with rebuilt cylinder head! Fresh, not even broken in yet. I have built several of these bikes in my younger days and still ride a built to the hilt 82 xl so I am very familiar with these motors. I am only selling this one because I have no interest in collecting, only riding these old jewels and since I can't ride 'em both at the same time one has to go. New o ring chain, new factory original grips and new clutch and brake levers. Still wearing her original speedometer!! Plastics are orig. as well although the rear fender has a crack. Very fast bike ready to ride. The 81-82 xr's are becoming increasingly harder to find in any condition. They were the first pro-link suspension thumpers. This bike is just under 300 lbs. Honda completely redesigned the bike and motor for the 1983 model year. (never quite hitting the mark imho) Sold with a bill of sale only. Will work with buyer to ship anywhere, and no. It is not cheaper to send it in pieces, this aint no ct70. This from MCS... When the rider clicks the XR into gear, he feels the 500 accelerate smoothly right from idle. In light of Honda's fondness for high-rewing engines, it « not surprising that the XR quickly builds power into the high rpm range One does not ordinarily want to keep a btg four-stroke single spinning hard because of the vibration, but the XR is controllable and offers its best power up high. But this doesn't mean the Honda is lacking in tow-end power; check these figures out. The XR develops 11.82 horsepower and 24.82 pounds/feet of torque at 2500 rpm—barely above idle. At 3500 rpm it's producing 17 horsepower and 26 lbs/ft of torque, compared to 13 horsepower and 19 lbs/ft of torque developed by last years Yamaha TT500. While the XR makes its best power at 6500 rpm (33.44 horsepower), it doesn't penalize overrewing, continuing to produce nearly 27 horsepower up until 8500 rpm. This powerband is superb: it lets the rider power out of tight situations, chug up hills effortlessly and relax while he trail rides There is also a predictable but abundant surge of power m the mid-range, at which point it's incredibly easy to wheelie the machine in the first three gears. For sale, a 1989 Honda Pacific Coast PC800 fully remodeled and reconditioned with only 19,700 original miles. I purchased the bike a few months ago as a project bike and I've spent a lot of time and money into it. My primary intention was to keep it, since it's among one of the best bike ever made by Honda and also considered to be a collector item. There are many things to list when it comes to the complete body works/paint and mechanical upgrades done. Listed below, is a link of a brief video that I took recently, just so that you can have a better idea about the bike. It runs very smooth and idles well; mainly because of a complete tune-up and replaced all maintenance related parts and components with top quality Honda parts. Also, a newly rebuilt carburetor, transmission gear oil flushed, coolant flushed, clutch/brake fluids drained /bleed, plus so much more. . . The only small and minor issue left to be done is a rear tire alignment that I just realized after taking it for a test drive around the block recently. It is a fun and very comfortable ride for sure, but the bike is simply a bit too big for me and I much rather having a much smaller bike, like a 250cc or max 500cc. A key reason, that I'm selling it at such a great bargain price at only $2950.00/OBO. I'm also open to trade for a smaller bike that holds the same values and similar conditions. 2013 Honda Gold Wing AUDIO COMFORT, This price makes a great deal on the touring bike that every other touring bike aspires to. Show room retail is over $1,000 more WITHOUT all the extras! Low mileage, tons of chrome accents, a CB system, and towing system make this the ultimate touring package. The CB option with antenna costs about $1,000. The bike has new tires, too! Starting at the front you see chrome trim on the fairing vents and the mirrors. Fog lights help illuminate the road and make it easier for other drivers to see you. Fog lights are a $500 option from Honda. You'll notice the Kuryakin highway pegs are there to give you additional comfort on those rides. The side mirrors have the additional dome mirrors. While not expensive, they are nice for visibility before changing lanes. There's chrome trim on that side of the mirrors, too, as well as around the speakers. The beverage holder is great and even takes care of those large, Yeti-type thermal containers of 30oz. If you know the Wing you know about the compartments in the front, one to the left and a huge one in the middle. At your feet you notice Kuryakin foot boards that flip up when at rest. I have noticed that when you flip them up to park the side stand is right there to put down quickly and safely. You also have a heel-toe shifter to save your shoes when you ride to the office. Yes, I ride to work when I can. Your passenger also enjoys foot boards by Kuryakin. These include a highway peg style flip-up to enhance the comfort of your passenger. Passenger speakers are also trimmed in chrome accent. As you move to the back you have four items that catch your eyes. First, the chrome and reflector framing that makes it hard to miss you from a visibility perspective. Next, the tow hitch is there, covered, with the electrical system in place and ready for use. I never towed anything, but the previous owner traveled with a lightweight trailer occasionally. You will also notice the luggage rack that spans the trunk area. This is great for small packages like backpacks, small tents, duffel bags, or packages. The final notice goes to the CB antenna, telling you there's a communication level here that connects you to the trucker network that gives great warning about traffic situations. It's also great for communicating in larger group rides. I wouldn't say this bike has everything... just everything you really want, need, and look for in a great deal. 2015 CR500AF. This AF started out as a 2015 CRF250R then was professionally modified to utilize this beautiful 1998 CR500R Engine. This bike is as close to a new bike as possible. This 98 CR500 engine has 0 hours of use since its complete rebuild, Using Wiseco engine parts (89mm Piston). Wheels, Tires, and Exhaust system are NEW as well. Suspension has fresh oil and seals, All chassis bearings were either replaced or serviced. This "Y" portion of the frame is a hollow casting that utilizes a self hardening 713 alloy this exceeds manufacture spec. This AF has engine mounts, exhaust mounts, ignition coil mounts, ECU holder, FMF Muffler, Radiators, and Fuel pump block off plate are unique to this bike and cannot be ordered over a parts counter. We do have templates for all custom parts off this bike and we can reproduce them for a fee if needed down the road.
