LEAKS:This bikes gaskets hold very well for an old Harley, HOWEVER this is the reason the owner is selling. When the bike warms up it starts leaking oil from somewherefrom the motor case. Once the bike cools and the oil that leaked goes down, it doesn't leak anymore. Just when its running and may be an upper case leak. BUT it leaks a lot when running. Will see oil spray on the back tire. I offered to remove the motor and chase the leak to the source and repair it if its a gasket or a crack. Owner decided to cut his loses and sell, Owner is moving out of state. THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO BUY a great looking bike that most of the custom work is done already. Okay that's the bad stuff see below for all the good stuff done to it!TEST DRIVE:Bike it kick start only, the kick starter sits a little loose and sometimes slips while kicking (dam old Ironheads) BUT this bike is dialed in good and starts awesome and often within a one of a few kicks.Comestic:See the pics, this is a 44 year old bike, its probably older than you, Its got rust at the places you would think you can find rust, but not rusted out by any means. Minor scratches everywhere, on the tank. But the fenders and tanks appear to be fairly new aftermarket replacements.
