Signed by Mert Lawwill 1967 Aermacchi 350cc Racer Aeronautica Macchi, soon only Aermacchi, was founded in 1912 by Giulio Macchi on the shores of Lake Varese north of Milan, Italy, to manufacture seaplanes. After WW II the company began producing motorcycles and in 1960 the Harley-Davidson Motor Company purchased 50% of the motorcycle division to secure a source of small capacity machines. The remaining half was sold to AMF H-D in 1974. Harley sold the company in 1978 to Cagiva to then launch them as a motorcycle manufacturer. Aermacchi created their "horizontal" 4-stroke single in 1956 first as a 175cc in the Chimera, soon a 250...the race versions usually to be known as the Ala d'Oro (Golden Wing). Using Harley-Davidson investment capital Aermacchi got to work and once they moved up a class (from 250 to 350) - Aermacchi offered the first 350cc engine in 1964 – the new, bigger motor promptly scored 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th places at the Isle of Man (350cc) Junior TT against a bunch of 2-stroke lightweight twins. After a redesign in 1966, 250cc and 350cc Aermacchi racers were models of reliability. It's these short-stroke machines – think north of 33 horsepower - that are so popular in today's AHRMA racing in the US and historic racing around the world. With so much intermingling of parts and specifications, a race bike is often made up of from the best components for the job. So it is with the unquestionably beautiful bike offered here. It consists of a 350cc dry clutch motor in a 1967 Sprint H style frame, an Ala Verde style peanut-shape tank, and a twin-leading shoe front brake. Built to race, the bike was then subject to a comprehensive and complete restoration and since has been meticulously stored and displayed in a prominent Southern California collection. With only shake down miles on the rebuild, the bike will need re-commissioning before returning to the track. I would suggest tires in that. Although he never rode the bike, it was signed by Mert Lawwill's, who saw it at a concours event and expressed his appreciation for the quality of the build. Beautiful as it unquestionably is, the bike is ready to start and run or to take pride of place as a museum exhibit, such is the quality of the restoration and build. Offered on a Bill of Sale

1963 Harley Davidson AERMACCHI Sprint 250cc Serial Number 63H1477. This Bike Is A Barn Find With 14,274 Miles. Bike Has Been Sitting In Storage For Several Years. It Came From California. As You Will See In The Pictures It Is Very Complete But Lacking Front And Tail Light Lenses, Air Filter, Muffler. It Has The Up-Swept Pipe. The Gas Tank Is In Nice Shape With A Little Surface Rust. Gas Tank Cap Is Stuck (Nothing That Some WD 40 Couldn't Solve). Note: No Title. Call your license bureau about the procedure to get a new title and plates, which would cost around $50. (Even if I got it in MN, you would have to transfer the title in your state, which would cost app. $50.)No Dents On Fenders Or Tank. The Bike Also Rolls Freely. The Front Brakes Work. The Motor Turns Over. Transmission Shifts. Front tire is 3.OO18. Rear is 3.5OH18, most likely steel alloy, with some surface rust. Original Paint. Nada and Kelley Blue Book value is $1,225 for Fair; $1,565 for Good. I would consider this bike to fall between those conditions. This Is A Rare Find And Great Bike To Restore. A recent TV Episode of 'Café Racer' Was About Making A Café Racer Out Of An Old Sprint, It Looked Great When It Was Done.(These bikes sell for about $4,000-$4,500.) I Think It Is A Good Platform To Start With. The Sprint motorcycle is able to reach a top speed of 115 km/h thanks to its overhead valve, air-cooled single engine. Weight is 271 pounds. In 1969 when AMF bought the company they near drove Harley Davidson out of business. This is an Aermacchi! NOT AN AMF! I could not find many, if any 1963 models around. Especially on eBay! I know it looks rough but it's almost all there! Buyer is responsible for pick up. I will accept PayPal, cash, cleared money order/ cashier check. Local Pickup. If Shipping Arrangements Are Made By You, I Will Be Of Assistance. Zip For Pickup Is 55056. This is app. 45 miles north of Minneapolis-St. Paul on I-35. Delivery within 100 miles of 55056 is possible or to meet you half-way (round-trip gas at 50¢ per mile). You must unload. Payment required for item and gas before delivery by cash, check, money order, or PayPal. I do not deliver on "speculation" in case you change your mind or it isn't the right color, style, size. This is a fully restored beautiful bike. Always garaged and runs great. 1954 Mondial 175 Turismo , Few marques have achieved so fine a competition record in so short a time as Mondial, the Italian company's period at the very top of Grand Prix racing encompassing the years 1949-51, plus a gloriously successful comeback in 1957. F B Mondial was founded in the aftermath of WW2 by the Boselli family, whose first venture into powered transport had been with the F B (Fratelli Boselli) three-wheeled delivery van in the 1930s. The name 'Mondial' first appeared on a motorcycle in 1948, when the Boselli brothers introduced a revolutionary double-overhead-camshaft 125cc racer. Mondial's miniature masterpiece duly brought the Bologna manufacturer its first World Championship the following year and proved equally dominant in 1950 and '51. After a relatively lean spell, Mondial returned to Grand Prix glory in 1957, taking both the 125cc and 250cc World Championships. Not surprisingly, Mondial's passion for racing rubbed off on its road range, which was exquisitely engineered and beautifully constructed in a manner unmistakably Italian. $12,000.00 909-931-9686 This motorcycle has been fully restored and is in beautiful show room condition.

1963 Moto Guzzi Sport , Up for Sale 1963 Moto Guzzi Falcone 500 Sport. Very stock original machine thats been well kept. I purchased this Vintage Beauty along with 2 Other Motorcycles at an Estate Liquidation. The seller would only sell all 3 Motorcycles together. The 1980 Ducati 900SS was what I was after, determined not to walk away without her I purchased all 3 motorcycles for a small fortune. Your chance to have an extremely rare Vintage Italian piece of art work. The only minimal negatives: Missing one side of the passenger pegs, The needle on the Speedo is broken off, some signs of wear on the original paint I have Certificate of Death from the Original owner and all the correct paperwork to register the Motorcycle in California and obtain a new pink-slip. FYI this is a true 1963 Falcone Sport not a police bike that was made up to look like one. Motorcycle Includes original owners manual and parts catalog, all in Italian. Will accept first reasonable offer. Thank you for reading my posting, looking forward to speaking with you, Chris (925) 435-2555 Moto Guzzi, Ducati, BSA, Triumph, Norton, Velocette, Vincent, Royal Enfield, Harley Davidson, Moto Morino, Matchless, Cafe Racer, Vintage Motorcycle, Aermacchi, Aprilia, Laverda, Benelli, $25,000.00 9254352555

The only minimal negatives: Missing one side of the passenger pegs, The needle on the Speedo is broken off, part of the clutch needs some attention, (have new part) some signs of wear on the original paint. The RR350 Racer is one of 26 originally made. These racers were hand built in the Aermacchi Harley-Davidson plant in Varese, Italy for the sole purpose of road racing. This bike has the twin disc front brakes, double leading shoe rear brakes, 6 speed transmission, Ceriani forks, water cooled, Dansi electronic ignition and is in the legendary Harley-Davidson racing colors. These machines were similar in design and performance to the Yamaha TZ twins and were successful in national events. Harley Davidson imported a number of 250's to compete in AMA road races, but the 350 is virtually unknown. This bike, the engine is brand new and I have all the documentation to prove that. All hoses have been replaced on radiator and as you see in the photos the brake calibers are being completely rebuilt. The lower and top fairing are flawless and tires are race ready. I use Federal Shipping for all my bikes. Serious bidders only.
