2008 Aprilia Scarabeo 200, Selling my wife's 2008 April Scarabeo 200cc scooter. This scooter has just 650 miles on it! She never really rode it, so I'm making room in the garage. No cosmetic issues, no mechanical issues. Runs and looks like it did when we drove it off the showroom floor. All routine maintenance has been performed. I'm a big guy, 6'3" tall and over 300 pounds. This scooter had no problem getting me over 60 miles per hour. Pulled me up hill with plenty of power to spare. The April actually has much larger wheels than most scooters. The larger wheels combined with the 200cc engine make it feel more like a fully automatic motorcycle! Plenty of storage. We added the top case in matching red. There is also a front glovebox and a HUGE undersea storage area big enough for your helmet. There is also a cigarette lighter plug in there to charge your phone! This is a really awesome scooter. I am honestly just looking for something bigger (would consider trade). I want to get as close to my asking price as I can.Since I have owned this scooter from last year - I put a brand new front tire on it, adjusted the shocks, put a brand new gel battery in it, replaced the fuel pump, and installed a regulator from a parted out Ducati. This scooter is ready to ride and could go anywhere without a problem. Since the fixes I have done to this I could easily do a 200mi trip in a day. The regulator issue on this model was a common problem - however after being fixed it runs really really well.Currently I have taken the Givi Box off and am selling that separately - but would be taken into consideration and included if the right deal was made. I purchased from the original owner - it was garage kept - I have the title in hand. This would be great for someone looking for a little bit of easier handling. It is seriously a great scooter - it has a vespa / piaggo engine in it.I have a clean title in hand ready for transfer.This is a very cool scooter.
