I won't go into too much detail about the SXV 550, as I'll assume you've done your homework and know what you're looking at, but here are some particulars about my moto. : 2007 Aprilia SXV 550 with 2008 engine. If you know these bikes, you know how important this is. The engine was replaced with a brand new engine at just under 3k miles back in March of '08. I have all the paperwork for this warranty work. : Currently ~ 3,700 miles on the clock. This means there is just under 1k miles on the new engine. The previous owner rode it for the first year and then it basically became a garage queen from '08 on. Uncorked and derestricted for optimum power and operation. Meticulously maintained using Redline Racing oils and Hiflofiltro Premium Oil Filters. I have extra quarts of oil and filters to go with the moto. 520 Chain and Sprocket kit. Rear sprocket a few teeth down for more top end. This makes it a lot more enjoyable at HWY speeds to get to the twisties. I'm looking to sell my 2009 Aprilia SXV 550 Super moto motor motorcycle. Bike has just over 6000 miles. New battery and starter were replaced begininng of the year last year. Motor was rebuilt by Allan Noland last year has about 1500 miles on rebuild. The bike was derestricted about 3 years ago at motorcycle mall with 1500 miles on it. Oil changes have been done about every 800 miles using agip full synthetic oil. Currently bike has a k&n air filter installed. Has a set of passenger seat pegs installed. Seat was redone 3 year ago and had a pocket built into seat under neath to house documents. Rear tire has less than 1000 miles on it, Dunlop sp3. Asking $6000 o.b.o

2007 APRILIA RXV 550, 2007 APRILLA RXV 550, with only 3036 miles. Comes with a 7 gallon fuel tank, heated grips and a heated seat that is prewired for your choice of seat. The bike has been sitting for awhile and does start and run but there is a hesitation when applying full throttle, but then it will clear up. We did change the oil and filter, coolant and even checked the fuel injectors for clogging. The spark plugs were replaced as well as the fuel filters, so maybe if this bike is right for you, you can tune it to get rid of the flat spot. But when it does hit, it hits hard and has a lot of torque.
