I have an 01 Futura for Sale for $3500. She has 60k miles on her, that's right 60k miles! I just had Amauri check her out and he said that she is Rock Solid Mechanically. The bike is gorgeous and runs perfect! The bike has about all the mods that you could do to a Futura. It has Fully Adjustable RSVR Forks with Full Floating Rotors and brakes; Wilbers Shock with Hi-Lo Speed Comp Adj and Pre-Load Adj; Taylormade Full Exhaust with H-Pipe; Evolutionize Air-Box Mods, RSVR Intake Snorkels; Evolutionize Shift Kit (She shifts like butter); Heli-bars; AF1 Racing Carbon Fiber Fenders and Chainstay. It comes with Hard bags and new tires. I am also including a spare motor with 12k miles on it. I bought the motor to build up, but due to family commitments I never got to it. The bike is in excellent condition and runs strong. As you may know the Futura won every comparison that it was in. 2002 Aprilia Rst FUTURA, 02 Futura 4 Sale with 60K miles on her. Yup, 60K miles. The motor and bike are Rock Solid! This bike has almost every ad that you can ad to a Futura. The original pathetic forks have been replaced with Fully Adjustable Falco Forks with Preload, Compression & Rebound dampening Adj and the larger Falco Rotors for better braking. The anemic stock shock has been replaced with a Fully Adj. Wilber's Shock with Remote Preload, Hi-Lo Speed Compression & Rebound Dampening Adj. A Full Staintune 2/2 Exhaust (with new packing) has replaced the dead stock one. A Evolutionize Air box and Filter have replaced the stock set up and a Gabro Chip has been added to increase performance. Also a Evolutionize Shift Kit has been added, allowing her to shift like butter. The stock bars have been replaced with Heli-Bars allowing for all day comfort and sporty positioning. A Caron Fiber gas tank protector has also been added, along with new rubber. I am also throwing in a spare motor with 12K miles on her. I originally picked her up to heavily mod her for performance, but never got around to it. The Futura arguably has the best seat in motorcycling and has won every comparison it was in, beating Honda, Yamaha, Ducati, BMW, etc. Many people consider the Futura the best Sport Tourer ever made. 2001 Aprilia RST1000 Futura, Sport Touring!! The Aprilia RST1000 Futura is a sport touring motorcycle that was produced by Aprilia. It is equipped with a 113 horsepower four-stroke 60° V-twin engine with electric-start, liquid cooling and electronic fuel-injection. The engine is broadly similar to that fitted to the Aprilia SL1000 Falco. The Futura's dry weight is 210 kg (463 lb). The Futura incorporated an aluminium-alloy, double-parallel-beam frame together with a new single-sided swinging arm. Transmission is via a six-speed gearbox and chain-final drive. Other features included CDI dual ignition system using two spark plugs per cylinder, dry sump lubrication, mixed gear/chain timing, (AVDC) double-balance countershaft, and power-assisted hydraulic-controlled clutch, with a patented Pneumatic Power Clutch" (PPC) to simulate a slipper clutch to control rear-wheel bounce during sudden deceleration. The bike's large, angular shape: some thought it was innovative and made it "look like an F-117". With its hard-shelled, lockable bags, the Futura was intended to compete with the similarly styled Honda VFR800. This one is in great condition fitted with like new Metzeler MEZ4 tires. 2000 Aprilia Rsv MILLE, 2000 Aprilia RSV Mille Italian Sportbike http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSV_Mille Black/Silver with red accents 2 owner bike ~16750k+ miles and increasing as I am driving more getting ready for sale Condition- Overall very good tires - very good. Have approx 2000 miles on them, they are Contential Road Attack, which have more than enough grip and last longer when turned by the ferocious tourqe of the 1000cc rotax. Engine- Excellent, always serviced. Other than service, the only problems have been a 26 dollar oil pressure sensor, and changing out the fuel lines(the originals are prone to melting in ethanol gasoline) Has aftermarket Renegade chip and Two Brothers exhaust. Clutch/Transmission- Very good, smooth up and down through the gears Suspension/brakes- easily adjustable. Very smooth ride compared to Asian bikes Ive ridden. Brembo` brakes are smooth under hard braking. Adjustable SACHS suspension. REAR BRAKE WORKS GREAT!! Body- Very good. Right lower is the only panel with any scratches; light scratches to the paint and a chrome sticker in this area were the result of leaning the bike against a mower in an overcrowed garage. You only see these if you get down and look for them. I planned on fixing this when I acquired the bike 8 years ago, but it really hasnt bothered me, since the only time i notice it is when I am washing the area. Comes with passenger seat and the original seat cowl. The passenger seat is very wide, and much more seat than current production sportbikes. The Good- The engine power and sound, the handling, the room not built for a Leprechaun like more modern literbikes. The looks; still looks great after 10 years after being in production. This bodystyle aprilia is already considered a modern classic. The build quality is second to none, it is even better than the newer Aprilia I have which is also for sale. Even though this is an Italian stallion, the rotax engine is Austrian bulletproof. Parts are not hard to get and are no more expensive than any other motorcycle. The Bad- The only forseeable maintenance would be to replace the chain and sprockets. There is only about .5 inch of adjustment left to tightnen it, and it seems to have a tight link that you can feel when going really slow. The "ugly???"- The before mentioned scratches on the right lower. Paint has normal wear for a 17000 mile bike, which isnt really much. The black still looks great if you keep the dust off it.
